What do you like best about scikit-image?

Good culmination of all popular image processing tools and built in functions that you would need. Scikit-image has a good foothold in a wide variety of training algorithms and databases for implementing machine learning on image sets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about scikit-image?

Does not have sufficient GPU or parallelization to support multiple threads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about scikit-image?

There are bunch of algorithms for several image processing tasks. The best thing is it is a python library and so easy to implement applications from naive l to complex levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about scikit-image?

Variety of algorithms to work with both images and videos, loaded images can be used in OpenCV which is super fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about scikit-image?

Documentation is somewhat lacking details for most algorithms. Also in most cases, you have to be familiar with image processing techniques and know what you are doing as there is no description. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is scikit-image solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was working on image denoising, there are quite a few algorithms implemented in scikit-image that worked well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
