PrimaverReader offers a better view on your project details, schedule and budget the same way a PDF can do with a word files just to explain it in a simple way. It supports both .xer and .xls file formats. It has advanced filtering and printing options. It doesn't have any learning curve or training costs. It's a little costly as it's a stand-alone program that is bought separately from Primavera P6. Printing options doesn't include a PDF option which is a must. Custom filtering is not as powerful as it is in P6. Also, grouping options are very limited and need to be expanded on as well. It doesn't support .xml files. The best thing about ScheduleReader is that Primavera P6 and ScheduleReader go hand-in-hand beautifully. It also helps to ensure all stakeholders in a project are aware of its status at all times. I like the GUI of ScheduleReader. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
