We frequently hold bug bashes with various stakeholders and TestFairy makes it easy to upload/install builds for distribution! We had issues in the past with getting builds distributed to our team members with complicated instructions, but now it all works with the tap of a single link. Responses given when uploading builds via the API can get a little annoying to work with considering you receive like 4 different URLs of which only 1 is really useful. The learning curve was a bit tough, but it all makes sense now. I really like that it is a platform specifically aimed at testing web applications, there is also the possibility to register on the page as if you were to test or as a developer, with the aim of obtaining reports from users, and in them to know where errors occur and where not, in addition to knowing also the specific requirements of the applications that we are developing something that is incredibly useful to achieve greater compatibility with different devices, without a doubt it is a quite unpreventable feature. I do not find a negative feature on this platform other than the fact that I think it is not so well known but outside of that I feel that it is a pioneer in the area and that it is useful to keep our web applications in test without them being subjected to Criticisms that can be destructive or totally determinant in the use of an application. TestFairy is great. If I had to pick one complaint, it would be that there is sometimes a few minutes of lag between an action occurring on the app, and the action being received by TestFairy. The video recording, file distribution, and integration with Jira are key for us. I have recommended this to colleagues in the same field. The ability to easily group and distribute builds to alpha, beta, and partners based on custom defined groups is much better than the primitive features allowed by the online stores. We use the Jira integration for all projects... the auto-ticket feature and the Jira plugin that allow the video and logs directly into a ticket means the developers don't need to go to the TestFairy dashboard to see the details; it is all right there for review in Jira. I like very much the "test object" solution. It is very helpful to not have physical devices in the office, having the possibility to access to an online site to pick any device at any time. Sometimes the network speed is a bit poor... I think it is because we are in Argentina and it is a long distance between us. But it is really a bad point to all the South American customers.
