What do you like best about SAS Data Management?

The GUI is easy to understand. All users need to go for training on this product, which makes things clearer. The built-in quality knowledge base's (QKB) make the cleaning of the data through the "AI" more robust and trustworthy. You can also build your own QKB's through a UI or by coding to assist with your own data. This definitely saved time to ensure that we have clean data sets that an analyst can use with confidence. We also have a system to output "clean" data sets for further analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SAS Data Management?

SAS (Statistical Analysis Systems) is an extremely powerful tools for data management and analysis. It is an analytics tool used basically in the field of business intelligence, data science, statistical analysis and machine learning. It also serves as a visualization tool allowing you to plot your data for data visualization. It has a huge number of statistical features to offer. You can do apply any test on your data like t-test, z-test, one-way annova, two-way annova, wilcoxon signed rank test etc. The output produced by SAS is very systematic and detailed which helps in the analysis. The three screens: Log, Output and Editor ease the task of observing logs, output graphs and statistics since there is a different screen for each of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Data Management?

The first thing you notice on the SAS application is that it has a very old outdated look. The GUI seems very old. Coding in SAS is difficult since it is a very vast language. It does not consist of easy key words or function names, making it hard to learn the coding. Also, data is temporary stores on the Work library on the application. Once you close the application, the changes will be lost. So, you need to explicitly save the data and outputs you wish to. by writing a line of code for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAS Data Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use SAS for analyzing data sets using various statistical tests. They help me test the respective null hypothesis and draw conclusions about the nature of the data set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
