**What do you like best about Sapling?**

Sapling provides a smooth and well structured onboarding workflow. The steps are clear, intuitive, and easy to follow with minimal confusion. I especially like the timeline feature that highlights the company’s history
it adds a thoughtful and engaging touch to the overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

rofile pages could also be enhanced by allowing direct clickable links to LinkedIn or other platforms instead of requiring copy/paste. The greyed-out sections create some visual confusion. Additionally, the Intercom chat widget feels slightly intrusive, as it occupies significant space and doesn’t minimize easily.

**What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sapling streamlines and standardizes the onboarding/offboarding process, ensuring consistency for both interns and full-time employees. It creates a structured and professional introduction to the company, reducing uncertainty and making the transition smoother. As a new joiner, this clarity and organization are highly valuable.

**What do you like best about Sapling?**

Sapling is easy to use and is really helpful when first joining an organisation (especially when remote working). It helps get onboarded quickly. As a hybrid worker I found it invaluable. It notifies me when I have documents to sign or new contracts. I have used it a lot in the current job.

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

Sometimes notifications can be missed. Sometimes documents are hard to find.

**What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sapling allows us to onboard people more easily to the organisation giving checklist to get people set up. Thorughout work it allows documents to be distributed to the right person and the write time and see their interaction.

its easy for us to run reports and set tasks that our employees need to do. Also its very easy to use

Often have issues with it being slow and data not migrating to kallidus

being able to keep all of our employee details on one system which is accessible to a number of people. As well as being able to manipulate that data

There really is not any, it's a great tool.

We use it both for core HR and onboarding services. It helps the process be smooth and convenient for both parties - employee and employer.

**What do you like best about Sapling?**

Sapling does a great job of getting new employees up to speed, ensures compliance in following all key set-up steps , and helps remind them to do all necessary steps.

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

Its was honestly really great. Some steps were unnecessary, and sometimes reminders came before steps could even be completed, but I think that had more to do with our specific implementation.

**What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring consistency and a high standard of the onboarding process. Employess can mange the process of getting set-up and Sapling helps manage the challenges of communications to both work and personal email addresses.

**What do you like best about Sapling?**

I appreciate the flexibility of the system to set up the fields and workflows I need to run HR processes and also keep track of and report on HR data. While the differentiation from competitors isn't extreme, I do think saplings flexibility with adding fields and seting up workflows is a huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

The navigation on the back end isn't always the most user friendly. Sometimes I have to click through a few different fields to get to what I want. Also, while they have api's available and you can easily set up API keys- I know from one system in particular (knoetic) that they aren't always open and willing to work with that system to send the data in useable ways.

**What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sapling is our core HRIS and our onboarding and offboarding workflow tool. It helps us autmate much of our Hr processes and is an easy to use platform for employees for HRIS type tasks- time off, org chart, promotions, etc.

Regarding your comment on the navigation, did you know that Sapling is in the final stages of a fully revamped UI? With beta testing wrapped and last-minute tweaks tweaked, we will start rolling out the new Sapling to everyone over the next few weeks. Our new UI will feature consolidated Navigation with streamlined Dashboards and Tasks to make it easier than ever to get everything done, new and improved Smart Assignment to make onboarding even faster and easier, and a totally new look to make sure the new Sapling is accessible for all with WCAG 2.0 AA certification.

  ### 7. I think its the BEST HR system that exists of the new age

**What do you like best about Sapling?**

I was able to implement this pretty much on my own over the course of a few days. We didn't have any other system to transition from. In general, the training with the team was bang on and informative. BEST THING... embedded videos ya'll.

I like the simple UI. Integrates easy with Google.

What I think most HR systems miss, is that they are build with the HR person as the user, but here is the thing. EMPLOYEES who can do more, will reduce the impact on HR, which is really solving the problem. The employee experience is incredible, we have all employees participating on all main purposes with no laggards, and that's saying something!

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

The time off part was a bit more trickier than I would have liked, but the UI is great. Missing functionality is putting people on "leave" with appropriate workflows from there. I'm sure it's coming through.

Wish they had an LMS part of the platform or some Performance stuff, issue with the performance stuff is the out of the box stuff available, rarely fits a company and is hard to develop.

Please make LEAVES!

Its our source of truth for all employee related things. Employee and Manager self serve has been great with vacation time, sick time, and just general "info" people need about our employees.

  ### 8. Streamlines our onboarding but difficult to manage when you scale

**What do you like best about Sapling?**

Automated tasks, re-assigning tasks, reporting, sequencing tasks, customized fields and forms on employees' profiles make it an easy tool to use for onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

There are some things that could definitely be made better. With the workflows, there is no way to easily compare tasks across workflows or delete or assign the same task from/to multiple workflows. We have a lot of workflows set up, and it's difficult to manage. Also, it would be so user friendly if when you're on an employee profile, when you scroll down, it keeps the name and information at the top. I often am looking at an employees profile and, now that we're a few hundred, have to scroll all the way back up to see whose profile I'm on - very annoying. Finally, there are issues in pulling reports - I ask it to pull ALL the individuals in Sapling, and some people don't get pulled even though they're in Sapling.

**What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were onboarding using gsheets previously which was super tedious and not fit for our growing needs. We have become more efficient in onboarding people, and I think employees appreciate it. We also can keep track of how far a new hire is in the onboarding process and have a record of whether a step was done or not.

Clean interface, easy to navigate, multifunctional for my team's profiles, time off, workflows and document management for my entire employee life cycle.

Some integrations are limited and some features dont meet my needs such as notifications that only notify some parties.

Streamlined onboarding experience for my global team in EU, India and the US. It allows me to manage our headcount at any time and have a good snapshot on our activities throughout the company

Makes onboarding simple and avoids missing steps, send reminders.

**What do you dislike about Sapling?**

It can be a little clunky at times, signing documents, profile editing are the things staff have issues with mostly. We require a system that does not rely on good internet signal.

**What problems is Sapling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ensures consistency, avoids emailing certificates and contracts, provides an audit trail. Allows me to issue forms to entire team in one simple step.
