For our lab, we like to over-customize and handle all the back-end code development ourselves. Drag and drop workflow/Template building is easy to use and quick. The Exemplar LIMS system and Electronic Lab Notebook is configurable from the data model to the interface like record views and home pages.

Exemplar has the best searching I have seen and has integrated charting as well. So I can visualize any data table where I am...whether at result of search of within the electronic lab notebook experiment.
