What do you like best about SAP SQL Anywhere?

I have been using this database mainly for installing and managing of sap business objects, the installation is very simple and the management is also easy way to take the administration. is fully supported by the sap support team, and it has many sap notes and guides to help you manage and administrate it. What do you dislike about SAP SQL Anywhere?

I have noticed that it is not good to use in very large systems, because its not so strong and not so flexible to manage with sql strings. it has some limitations due to his target of application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SAP SQL Anywhere:

Totally recommended for implementing light and also some test sap systems, it fits to your need and is very easy to install, and administration can become very easy, in windows systems it usually shows as an service so you can stop it and start it, also you can back it up easy with its software, and restore process is also very fast. What problems is SAP SQL Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has been perfect for our test systems and practice with our trainee consultant team, very light and easy to install database but it doesn't mean that is not secure, it is good and fiable for small and middle companys and its totally supported by sap team becuase it is a native database. What do you like best about SAP SQL Anywhere?

The product is very secure and robust especially when it comes down to team changes when hiring or downsizing. SAP queries and transactions built in coordination with corporate IT team can add security measures that allow me as a field manager to monitor activity of my employees thoroughly. It takes time to reset passwords through corporate IT representatives who are more trained on SAP and its transactions than myself and other administration staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
