Excellent Reporting features especially VIM analytics for end to end status checking along with all the details. OCR extraction and logic modules and Z-constant user exists for data automation. **What do you dislike about SAP Invoice Management by OpenText?** No option to skip & open the next invoice in Validation client. Line items tab in indexing screen, difficult to select correct line items manually if PO has multiple lines. it should be like MIRO lines, there should be a refresh button and it should delete unselected lines similar to SAP MIRO. **What problems is SAP Invoice Management by OpenText solving and how is that benefiting you?** Duplicate invoice identification, knowing the exact status of invoice and with whom it is pending and for what reason. Multiple levels of approvals for Non-PO based invoices. Automatic invoice image linkage to MM and Accounting document. it actually help non VIN users to view the invoice copy attached for the posting documents. ### 2. Regulatory compliance through a well-managed process using preconfigured rules, roles, and actions considering country-specific regulations **What do you dislike about SAP Invoice Management by OpenText?** It cannot show the simulation of accounting entries similar to FB60/MIRO. Opentext Validation client is not very user-friendly. It works on a first-come, first-serve basis, which creates problems when you have many documents in the queue and an urgent one is in the middle of the queue **What problems is SAP Invoice Management by OpenText solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has enabled the multi-channel input for digital and non-digital invoice formats like scanned paper invoices, PDF invoices attached to emails, EDI invoices, network invoices, and so on, including integration of the SAP® Ariba® network based on SAP’s built-in interface with Ariba. Pros: - Use OCR to scan. - 3-way matching. - Exception handling. - Complete control on vendor invoices, since money is going out once the invoice is free for payment. - PO line item can be determined easily which material code is different. - Non-PO invoice handling has excellent features using Char of authority. - NPO - approval has good control in terms of cost center/profit center. - NPO - Level-based approval, which is also a good thing in SAP OT VIM. - Archiving functionality central reports which are good. - Also, OT VIM can be integrated with SAP SRM **What do you dislike about SAP Invoice Management by OpenText?** Cons: - Cost to the customer is bit heavy. - Miantaince charge also more, since SAP OT VIM has both technical and functional things together and it's not so easy to get resources with both technical and functional. - If you buy OT VIM license from SAP, we can only reach out to the SAP not directly to the OpenText, I feel issue resolution may take a longer time. **What problems is SAP Invoice Management by OpenText solving and how is that benefiting you?** - I think I described them in above as section as pros; however, I can add a couple of here. - 3-way matching concept - Exception handling and DP goes to VIM workplace for review, I see good sign for firm has full control on vendor invoices if there are any discrepancies. - This can be integrated with EDI/Ariba/SAP SRM/SAP IDoc etc. ### 4. I could not find the recurring invoice generation option In B2C A dashboard to provide for each order with the status that can be easily visible to the users(UX change) Example: Provide option of tasks- Ordered->Confirmed->Invoiced->Delivered->Ack where we can easily reach out to concerned POC. I found this at the end of the cycle but to understand easily on where the lag is, it is important), This can be placed in orders listing - How do we notify users? It has ICC which is an OCR tool. Development is really faster as it covers most of the use cases.
