I like the way how any unstructured content can be managed throughout its lifecycle using this solution. The content can be associated with SAP Transactions. It provides a a a 360-degree data view. A non-SAP can see the same document and its associated metadata in ECM, which helps end-users to identify the data quickly. Access to all business-relevant information via a preferred user interface (SAP GUI, MS Office, MS Windows, E-Mail Client, Web UI). Reduction of storage cost. Using records management, retention policies can be set to archive/dispose of the old SAP and non-SAP content by reducing corporate exposure to litigation and regulations. **What do you dislike about SAP Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText?** The support is not very efficient, either by a partner or directly from Opentext. **What problems is SAP Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText solving and how is that benefiting you?** It eliminates versioning issues. The possibilities are endless. **What do you dislike about SAP Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText?** It doesn't communicate well with other software. You cannot export data to an easily usable form (ex: Excel spreadsheet). The codes are not intuitive, so you have to memorize them. Many of them have descriptions that are so unclear, I have no idea what info I'm going to find. Also, every little piece of info you want to obtain about a particular item in our inventory, you have to back out and put in another code because each code is so specific. **What problems is SAP Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText solving and how is that benefiting you?** It logs us out after so short a time. If I leave the software alone to do something else, it logs me out after just 15 minutes, even though the info we are storing is not sensitive. ### 9.
