SAP environment, health and safety takes paramount needs of employee health as priority at work places in terms of how certain products are handled. Hazardous products management is effectively put under control in terms of storage and handling. SAP EHS would be more effective if it could be used on basic technology systems or a lite version which would help users to use on the run and follow up on employee safety and health plus the environment. Recommendations to others considering SAP EHS: SAP EHS will ensure a company gets all the protection for the employees and the environment, it recommends which protective wear employees can use. This kind of priority leads to better returns for that company in terms of labour force, a decrease in the labor turn over and a good attitude from the employees. What problems is SAP EHS solving and how is that benefiting you? We are able to safeguard the environment and employee health while at work. Environmental safety in terms of dealing with dangerous and hazardous products, storing them appropriately and ensuring longterm safety of people as a priority. Follows industry best practice and requires little customization if your processes follow said standards. Generation of OSHA forms is pretty straight forward. The workflow infrastructure makes the solution feel incredibly clunky. End user training can have a tough learning curve. What problems is SAP EHS solving and how is that benefiting you? There is a lot of potential within the extension, since it does cover health, safety, and environment. It does allow us to track equipment damage in regards to safety incidents as well as overall incidents in general.
