## SAP Business Network Reviews
  ### 1. Centralized Supplier Collaboration That Simplifies Purchase Order Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

The major benefit would be having a single channel where all supplier transactions occur. Previously, our transaction documents were sent through emails, which sometimes resulted in missing documents and versioning issues. Currently, all transactions can be accessed in one location.

The real-time tracking of the order will eliminate the need to ask about the status of orders. Once a supplier confirms that he received the purchase order or sent out an invoice, the transaction is updated in real time.

Through electronic invoicing, payments are now faster since the system automatically validates the document before submission.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Getting suppliers to use our platform is not easy. Some of the small suppliers we have found it difficult to use the platform initially and were reluctant to join.

The design of the platform looks old-fashioned. For regular users of the platform, there is no problem, but for those who are new to it, it is challenging to navigate.

The process of integrating with our ERP system is not easy. It needs technical know-how. When an error occurs in the integration process, it becomes difficult to interpret the message.

The pricing of the platform is high. For small suppliers, the price is not worth the value they derive from it.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The key issue that it resolved is document chaos, where POs would come via e-mail, confirmations via fax, and invoices sent separately via another e-mail trail. No one had an overview of the transaction.

The documents related to each purchase order are all in one place now. We have a complete record of everything - POs, confirmations, shipping notifications, invoices, payments - without having to look for individual pieces in various e-mails.

It has helped us during our audits as well. Whenever we needed to provide proof about a particular transaction, we just pulled the transaction log from the network, instead of searching through the e-mail logs.

This real-time visibility also works wonders with our inventory planning since we know when our orders have been confirmed.

  ### 2. Convenient and Efficient SAP After the Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aishah M. | RTR Specialist | General Ledger, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

This was my first time using SAP, and initially I had zero knowledge of the system. However, after learning and understanding how it works, I found SAP to be very convenient and efficient.

For example, when searching for specific GL accounts, I can easily filter by the required month. In addition, instead of manually uploading journal vouchers, we use macro files that are linked directly to SAP. This has improved efficiency by approximately 90% in completing my daily tasks

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

If I need to pull reports from the past five years, it does take some time, and occasionally my laptop may freeze. However, I understand that this is due to the large volume of data being processed.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, I was involved in two UAT testing projects related to the migration of two entities. During these projects, I worked closely with the IT team to ensure the system setup and configurations were aligned with business requirements.

Overall, the SAP system did not present major issues during the setup of new configurations. For example, the F.05 transaction code, which is commonly used for foreign currency revaluation, encountered an issue where the system did not follow the correct forex rates maintained in SAP.

Once the issue was identified, I escalated it to the IT team, who assisted in reviewing and adjusting the configuration. The issue was successfully resolved by the next day. As a result, month‑end closing was completed smoothly without any delays or issues.

This successful collaboration and timely resolution contributed to achieving 100% of our Month‑End Closing (MEC) Quality Index KPI, as all MEC SOPs were completed on time.

  ### 3. Strong platform for streamlined supplier collaboration and procurement visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharamveer p. | Application Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

What I like best about SAP Business Network is how it simplifies collaboration between buyers and suppliers in a single connected ecosystem. It improves visibility across procurement processes and makes it easier to manage orders, invoices, and supplier communication in one place. The standardized workflow reduces confusion and helps maintain consistency across transactions, especially when working with multiple vendors.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

One drawback of SAP Business Network is that onboarding and initial setup can feel complex, especially for new users who are not familiar with SAP systems. At times, the interface can also feel less intuitive, and navigating between different modules requires some learning. Smaller organizations may also find the platform a bit heavy for their needs.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network solves the problem of disconnected procurement processes and poor supplier visibility. It centralizes communication, transactions, and documentation between buyers and suppliers, which reduces manual coordination and errors. For me, it helps in improving efficiency by streamlining purchase workflows and making supplier interactions more transparent and structured.

  ### 4. Brings Suppliers and Buyers Together With Clear, Transparent Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamoya O. | Regional Operations Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

As someone who works in Retail Operations I appreciate the platform's ability to bring suppliers, buyers and partners in one space making tracking and follow up easier to do. The level of transparency is also worth noting as it helps with reporting.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

The onboarding of new users is a bit overwhelming as it can be a lot to take in especially for team members who are not as technical. If the training documents could be simplified that would definitely help making the adoption easier.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP solves the issue of disconnected systems and gaps in communication. In operations it is imperative that all stakeholders are up to date and are clear on where we stand with a project and what gaps may exist and what we need to close things out. Dealing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external I definitely appreciate how much SAP optimizes a manual process.

  ### 5. Streamlined Supplier Coordination, But High Supplier Onboarding Challenges

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praney M. | Product Design Manager 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I find the purchase order and invoice tracking visibility in SAP Business Network to be the most practically useful part for us. Having a clear view of what is outstanding, what has been confirmed, and what is pending on the supplier side greatly reduced the operational overhead of managing those workflows compared to our previous methods. The supplier communication piece is also reasonably useful once suppliers are on the platform. Having interactions and document exchanges in one traceable place makes auditing and following up on open items more straightforward. It reduces the uncertainty that used to exist around where things stood. This visibility means questions about order confirmation or delivery expectations can be answered without involving multiple people each time. The invoice tracking helps with managing cash flow visibility on the operational side, allowing finance and ops to have more accurate conversations around spend without waiting for manual reconciliation. While it's not a dramatic change, the reduction in administrative chasing is genuinely noticeable after having done it the old way for so long.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Supplier adoption is the most persistent frustration. The platform only delivers its full value when suppliers are actively using it and getting smaller vendors in particular to engage consistently has been harder than expected. Some suppliers push back on the onboarding process and you end up managing a hybrid situation where some interactions are in the platform and others are still happening over email, which partially defeats the purpose. The interface and navigation is also more complex than it needs to be for routine tasks. Finding specific orders or filtering transaction history in a way that surfaces what you actually need requires more clicks and familiarity with the platform structure than should be necessary. For team members who are not in it regularly the friction is noticeable and contributes to the adoption challenges on our own side as much as the supplier side.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network streamlines supplier interactions, centralizing purchase orders and invoice tracking, enhancing visibility, and reducing manual coordination. It standardizes supplier onboarding and communication, solving fragmented procurement processes and minimizing operational friction.

  ### 6. Modern UI with Cross-Department Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tristan V. | Inside Sales / Project Management / Specialty Accounts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I like the flexibility of SAP Business Network because it allows us to use it in multiple areas of the business. Previously, we had to manage each area like inventory or customer management with different programs, which left departments isolated. With SAP Business Network, we can cross-train employees to perform more than just their essential functions, helping them find information and answer questions independently. We switched to SAP because of its more modern UI, which is easier to use and allows for more flexibility since we only need one program instead of several. The modern UI was the main selling point for us, and all the other features have kept us using SAP Business Network for years.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

When we've had issues it's been hard to contact SAP in order to get them resolved, and I'd like to see more training materials to get the basics learned quicker without having to delegate our staff to write instructions for the basic functions. Training materials would be nice for the core functions of SAP in each sector, so core ERP functions. As for the contacting SAP, it's been hard to get quick replies via email and phones are always the quickest way to get things accomplished especially in a noisy environment like out in our warehouse where we still have people trying to use SAP.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network consolidates multiple programs into one, simplifying inventory and customer management. It provides a flexible, easy-to-learn experience for new team members and enables cross-training, allowing employees to perform a variety of tasks independently.

  ### 7. Streamlined Compliance, Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barkha S. | Quality Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I love that SAP Business Network puts an end to the email tag game for compliance documents. It has been a lifesaver for keeping our certifications in check. Now I can verify suppliers' compliance and check their certificates of analysis before the truck even hits our dock. Having those documents in the portal beforehand means I can green light a shipment before it even pulls into the yard, which makes the entire process efficient without compromising safety. It solves the lack of visibility by putting all our certifications and logistics tracking in one shared place, saving me a ton of time and making our food safety audits way less stressful.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

The onboarding of smaller vendors is definitely too clunky. I often have to play tech support just to help them upload a simple doc. Also, the mobile site is a pain to use, especially when I am out of dock and need to pull up the certificate quickly. Right now there are too many menus to click through just to find a PDF. It should have a simplified dashboard where I can quickly scan the shipment barcode or search with the carrier name, and I could easily fetch their data and certifications. Also, offline caching would be really helpful if possible.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network eliminates chasing compliance docs via email, centralizes certifications and logistics, and simplifies audit prep. It lets me verify supplier compliance and approve shipments efficiently, enhancing food safety management.

  ### 8. Automates Procurement, Elevates Trust and diversifies Suppliers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naman S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I use SAP Business Network for the entire supply chain, and it streamlines procurement procedures, which is really helpful. Automation makes everything smooth, especially with finding suppliers, reducing risks, and improving sourcing. The visibility on the dashboard is great for automating the process and getting a diversified supplier portfolio, ensuring smooth transactions and timely delivery of goods. Being digitized helps build trust between companies. I also found the initial setup easy because of my certifications, which led to an excellent first-time user experience. I’d definitely recommend SAP Business Network to a friend or colleague, rating it a 10.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

The real-time integration speed could be improved because latency issues occur when sharing data across third-party ERP systems that aren't native to SAP.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network streamlines our supply chain by automating procurement from supplier selection to payment, reducing costs. Finding suppliers is easy, minimizing risks and securing timely deliveries. The dashboard visibility helps maintain smooth transactions and builds trust through a diversified supplier portfolio.

  ### 9. Enhances Supply Chain but Needs User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishnavi V. | Internal consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I find SAP Business Network valuable for our company as it provides real-time visibility into all sales orders, inventory levels, and customer interactions, ensuring our CRM software is updated with accurate reports and analytics. It significantly automates processes, saving time and reducing quality issues, while maintaining clear understanding and transparency between our employees and trading partners. Additionally, it aids in making faster decisions and helps reduce stockouts, which is crucial for our operations involving around 20,000 customers daily.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

I would say it’s the complexity of using it because not everyone is from a technically defined background and it gets difficult to understand the usage of the SAP Business Network software without proper guidance and in this stage mistakes tend to happen quite a lot. I would say that the enhancements on user interface is required and also a customizable dashboard would help each company based on their requirements. It was a little complex at first in terms of setup in some of our older systems of Acer and we had to get some system upgrades done that costed the company.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network automates our processes, reducing time and quality issues. It provides real-time visibility into sales orders and inventory, enhancing decision-making and reducing stockouts. This clarity and transparency streamline collaboration with our trading partners and improve CRM updates.

  ### 10. Streamlines 3PL Operations with Unified Data and Visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I like having one connected platform where customer carriers and internal teams are all working from the same data in SAP Business Network, which eliminates the problem of having outdated versions that can plague logistics operations. Also, I find it valuable for ensuring customer satisfaction by giving customers self-serve visibility into their shipments, which reduces inbound calls and builds trust for long-term commitment. The ability of SAP Business Network to automate communication with trading partners and reduce freight and invoicing complexities is a major asset. It keeps the team working under the same data at the same time, preventing errors and re-keying information across systems, and helps in making faster decisions during disruptions.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

So the one important thing that I have noticed was getting all of the carriers and trading partners onto the network can sometimes be time-consuming and rigid. Smaller carriers or suppliers may also struggle with the technical set up, and the use of interface could be challenging in terms of licensing and heavy reliance on IT support for customizations and fixes.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network helps us with visibility and tracking across carriers, automates partner communication, and reduces freight and invoicing complexity. It provides a connected platform for seamless collaboration, preventing errors and promoting faster decisions. Customer self-serve visibility reduces calls and builds trust.

  ### 11. Efficient B2B Integration with Minor Setup Challenges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naman S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I like the way SAP Business Network helps sign up suppliers at a very low cost, comparable to signing up for a social media account, which used to be an expensive and time-consuming process. I also appreciate having digital records for agreements, providing complete visibility and clarity. The system helps transition from a reactive to an automated workflow, particularly by smoothing the processes in supply chain, procurement, and logistics. The automation in SAP Business Network cuts costs and increases efficiency by 30%, addressing issues like missing invoices and other time-consuming tasks.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

I would say the complexity of the portal sometimes kills the deal with suppliers. Some suppliers also view the volume-based fees as a tax on their growth with our company that sometimes makes it difficult and limited to certain suppliers and negotiating terms for a long run. From my suggestion, it would be easier if we had an AI to help change the invoices if they were done wrongly and also help the suppliers and new people hired to work around easily to solve the problems of complexity. Instead of having the fees changed on a 12-month period, if there was cost capping done it would provide a better understanding of how much would be required to get the supplier on-boarded and would help the purchasing company negotiate better in terms of the commitment. The initial setup was a rigorous process and we had to spend a lot of time working with it to get some experience, it took us around a week's time to get it set up and get everything up and running.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network solves the email and spreadsheet trap, enhances visibility on bottlenecks, reduces onboarding costs, and automates workflows. It creates digital transaction records, smoothing supply chain, procurement, and logistics processes.

  ### 12. Streamlined Transactions, Needs a Simplified UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naman S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I use SAP Business Network to engage and streamline transactions between buyers and suppliers. It serves as a central platform for procurement, supply chain management, and invoicing, which are all handled in one place. It makes manual hard labor jobs easier, as I can get more things done at once and ensure that both suppliers and the business have complete visibility of purchase materials as the company grows. Mismatches between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices used to take a lot of time to manually ensure they were correct, but SAP Business Network has solved that issue systematically, even on a larger scale.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

When it comes to the new training, the user interface can be complex and time-consuming to study. Some suppliers may also feel the cost for onboarding requirements is a little high in perspective of their business. At the very beginning, it was difficult for all of us to get started with the SAP Business Network.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Business Network to streamline transactions between buyers and suppliers. It solves visibility issues, eases manual labor, and systematically handles mismatches in purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.

  ### 13. Steep Learning Curve, Reporting Tools Shine

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel T. | Senior Underwriting and Risk Management Analyst II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I guess once you knew the exact codes in SAP Business Network, it was easy to track everything. I also found value in the reporting tools. Once I made them and had them saved, I could just run them all the time, and it kinda spit out exactly what I needed.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Honestly, it was kinda confusing. It seemed very outdated. Was hard to find things in the system unless you knew the exact codes. I think there is just a big learning curve. Just making it easier to search for things, save things, like, have a history of places you've been to. There'll be times where I would search for something that required a specific code or internal thing to look up. And it wouldn't save and if I didn't save it on a notepad, my own, I would forget it and would have to ask, and it was just kinda hard to navigate.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used SAP Business Network for internal inventory monitoring, which helped in tracking assets and receivables, ensuring we had everything accounted for.

  ### 14. Centralizes Procurement with High Visibility and Some Complexity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sparsh S. | Student Trustee, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

I really enjoyed the visibility and control SAP Business Network provides. Having procurement activities and supplier interactions in one place makes processes transparent, efficient, and easier to manage. The tool plays an important role in enabling supplier collaboration, standardizing sourcing processes, and improving visibility across the procurement lifecycle. It helps solve issues like lack of visibility, insufficient supplier communication, and manual processes by centralizing procurement activities, improving supplier collaboration, streamlining onboarding, and ensuring better compliance and audit tracking.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Some parts can feel a little complex and not very intuitive so the user experience could be simpler.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network solves lack of visibility, improves supplier collaboration, and reduces manual processes by centralizing procurement activities, streamlining onboarding, and ensuring better compliance, making processes transparent and efficient.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishnavi V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

I find the transparency and real-time data updates of SAP Business Network extremely valuable. It allows me to track goods accurately, providing exact locations and durations, which helps ensure timely deliveries to vendors. The automation of invoicing and supply chain processes has significantly reduced errors and inbound supplier calls, freeing up more quality time for decision-making.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

I would say the complexity of using it at the very beginning and now our company sponsors the new users a crash course so that they can get a head start. It was a bit complex but the help from a professional team of experts helped in getting hands-on experience.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Business Network to automate invoicing, reduce errors, and cut supplier calls, which allows more time for decision-making. I also appreciate the transparency and real-time data updates for tracking goods and ensuring timely deliveries.

  ### 16. Efficient Invoicing, Needs Better Error Resolution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

It's an easier way of having everything in one place, which makes it faster to code invoices and send them for approvals. It helps the business run more smoothly. The initial setup for our team was also quite easy.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

When there are any errors showing, SAP Business Network could help to provide a solution when it comes to resolving errors otherwise it can take a while to submit a ticket for a resolution.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Business Network to code invoices and manage approvals efficiently. It centralizes everything, speeding up invoicing and approvals. It also helps in handling various transactions, making the business run more smoothly.

  ### 19. Powerful End-to-End B2B Collaboration and Supply Chain Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florin C. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

SAP Business Network stands out as a powerful B2B collaboration platform, connecting millions of companies worldwide and providing strong end-to-end visibility along with automation across procurement and supply chains.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Despite its strong capabilities in visibility and automation, the clunky UX and overall complexity are still major pain points in 2026. It often takes dedicated training and IT resources to fully unlock its value.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the benefits are substantial: meaningful cost savings driven by efficiency gains, improved supply chain resilience against disruptions, stronger supplier relationships, and an impressive ROI,often reported at 404% over three years, along with faster go-to-market speed and annual revenue growth. Overall, it helps shift operations from reactive to proactive and more intelligent commerce, supporting greater agility and profitability in volatile times.

  ### 20. Effortless Integration and Feature-Rich Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sree K. | Software Engineer II in Test, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

SAP Business Network is quite straightforward for me to use. As a UAT tester, when it comes to adding trading partners or tracking things like orders and shipments. I also find it easy to connect with other applications, so integration isn’t much of a hassle. The system offers a variety of features for managing both suppliers and customers, and most of these work right out of the box. Getting started was simple and didn’t require much training. Customer support is decent, sometimes a bit slow, but they usually manage to help. I use the platform almost every day and it has lots of features that makes my testing and regular work smoother.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

As a UAT tester, one thing that frustrates me about this tool is that the setup and integration process can sometimes take longer than necessary, particularly when I'm trying to connect new partners or access additional features. The menus can be confusing, requiring me to click through several screens just to find what I need. On a couple of occasions, I've also had to wait for customer support longer than I would have liked. Additionally, some features seem hidden, and I wish the tool were more straightforward for handling basic tasks.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a UAT tester, I find that SAP Business Network has greatly improved the way I handle interactions with various trading partners. Previously, managing suppliers, customers, logistics, and asset operators required juggling numerous spreadsheets and emails, which often became overwhelming. Now, with everything digitized and centralized, I can easily track updates, send orders, and manage shipments all in one place. This streamlined approach allows my team to work more efficiently, catch errors sooner, and share information with partners without having to wait for email responses. I like how SAP Business Network uses cloud-based tracking that is updated in real time and doesn't have to be manually managed. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hirdesh P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

The most commendable aspect of the SAP Business Network is its ability to enhance collaboration and transparency among trading partners. This platform establishes a unified and standardized environment that facilitates communication and information exchange among buyers, suppliers, logistics providers, and asset operators, moving away from the reliance on emails and isolated systems.

The significant advantage lies in the increased visibility throughout the supply chain. It simplifies the tracking of order statuses, shipments, invoices, and confirmations, thereby minimizing delays, reducing errors, and decreasing the need for manual follow-ups. Furthermore, its integration with SAP ERP and S/4HANA ensures data consistency, which contributes to smoother transactions and reinforces relationships with business partners

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

A primary obstacle encountered with the SAP Business Network pertains to the onboarding and integration processes, particularly when collaborating with smaller suppliers or partners who might not be well-versed in SAP applications. Achieving alignment among all partners regarding processes and data standards necessitates significant time and resource investment.

Financial considerations can also pose challenges, particularly from the suppliers' perspective, potentially affecting their level of engagement. Moreover, some users perceive the interface and workflows as less user-friendly than anticipated, leading to complications in resolving issues across different stakeholders. Although the network offers substantial benefits, its successful implementation demands robust change management strategies and effective partner coordination.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The SAP Business Network addresses the issue of inadequate visibility and suboptimal coordination among suppliers, logistics providers, and other trade collaborators. In conventional systems, information is frequently dispersed across emails, portals, and isolated platforms, resulting in delays, inaccuracies, and insufficient transparency.

From our perspective, the network has enhanced collaboration and provided real-time insight throughout the supply chain. The tracking of orders, shipments, confirmations, and invoices has become more straightforward, which minimizes the need for manual follow-ups and reduces the likelihood of misunderstandings. Furthermore, its integration with SAP ERP and S/4HANA facilitates data uniformity, boosts process efficiency, and fosters the development of robust, dependable relationships with business associates.

Another challenge is that smaller businesses may perceive platform fees or compliance requirements as a burden. Overall, although SAP Business Network improves transparency and collaboration, its complexity and cost can be obstacles for organizations that are not fully prepared for digital transformation.

  ### 48. Detail-Oriented and Efficient, but Not User-Friendly and Full of Error Screens

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

It’s very detail-oriented, which leaves minimal room for error. That’s a good thing when it comes to efficiency and results. The hardest part, though, is learning the user interface.

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Its not really user friendly and requires a lot of training to get through the program, you need to be well trained and equipped or it keep giving you error scrreens

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefits are efficiency and visibility. Processes like purchase orders, invoices, and confirmations are now more automated, which helps reduce errors and cuts down on back-and-forth. I can quickly see the status of transactions and follow up on issues sooner, rather than chasing information across multiple sources.

  ### 49. Seamless Data Flow and Automation, But Takes Time to Get Started

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Modestos Z. | Implementation Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Business Network?**

Some of the things i like the best are: Automating transactions, how it connects buyers and supppliers, real-time insight into supply chain activities and mainly that data flows seamlessly between systems(no duplicates).

**What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?**

Needs some time to start using it, a bit time consuming, some transaction fees especially for smaller partners, The system enforces standardized processes, maybe a simplier interface.

**What problems is SAP Business Network solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Business Network is solving several key problems that people used to face in managing suppliers and transactions. Before using it, processes were very manual and disconnected(offline), purchase orders, invoices, and shipping updates were all handled through emails. So now we have less delays and errors. Also now we have real-time visibility into orders and payments.
