## SaneBox Reviews
 ### 1. Brought Sanity to My Inbox and Boosted Email Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorrit L. | President, COO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox has done exactly what its name suggests: brought sanity to my inbox. I am vastly more efficient managing email than I used to be.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I would like to see it get smarter about filtering based on content as well as sender. Right now that can be done, but requires more manual intervention.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get dozens, sometimes hundreds of emails a day. Before I started using SaneBox, I routinely told people that if they needed me to see something, they had to text me (or email, then text me to look for the email). Even with spam filters and Gmail's native filtering, I simply got too many messages, organized too chaotically, for me to be sure I would see important emails in a timely fashion. With the organization and automation SaneBox has brought to my inbox, I no longer worry that I will miss critical emails. Non-spam junk is filtered so I can skim it occasionally if I want. Emails are sorted into relevant categories, so I can batch process related kinds of information without context switching and so I can easily prioritize what to review when/how often. It is game changing.

 ### 2. SaneBox: Easy Setup and Seamless Gmail & Apple Mail Filtering—Huge Time Savings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox is quite easy to set up and configure, and it integrates seamlessly with both Gmail and Apple Mail (my email clients of choice). It's redirected the mountains of news and marketing emails I get into folders that I can review very quickly and has saved me countless hours of shuffling through the chaff of my inbox to get to the wheat.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There are no real downsides to using SaneBox other than the cost, which is fairly substantial but justified based on the value of my time. There are some aspects to the interface I'd love to improve - it only allows you to train the AI based on emails that are currently in the inbox, so if you cull several times a day you may not train as thoroughly as you like. And the digests that it gives you to review can be a little hard to access in the menu - it would be useful to make them easier to access.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically my ability to manage my inbox was grinding to a halt before Sanebox due to the amount of news and marketing emails I received. However, I didn't want to un-subscribe to the news and marketing emails, since this information is valuable to me - I just want to be able to sort it incredibly quickly and pick out the few items that are interesting to me at a given time. By sorting these emails into their own filters, I can get the benefit of mass-processing this information and save my main inbox for the things that really deserve my sustained attention. This saves me hours of time per week.

 ### 3. The most amazing inbox manager! Saves so much time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph S. K. | Chief Technical Officer and Director of SEO Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how Sanbox can be configured so easily to go through my inbox and make sure everything ends up sorted into the right folders for later use. It saves me so much time. I can honestly say it saves me 10+ hours per week and means I don’t need an assistant. I genuinely don’t know what I would do without it.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The only thing I’d mention is that you have to configure it through another website, and sometimes you need to search around and fine-tune the settings to get everything just right.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sanebox is helping me solve inbox management and dealing with spam. I can easily to through hundreds of daily emails in less than 10 minutes now with the smart sorting features.

 ### 4. Efficient Email Management, Minor Categorization Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aidan H. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how SaneBox filters out unimportant emails almost instantaneously, saving me from receiving unnecessary notifications on my phone. Their website functionality is impressive and doesn't get bogged down by slow visuals. The billing is logical and the smooth experience reduces anxiety and creates predictability about costs. I've found the initial setup very easy, and I was thrilled to see my inbox count reduce by a third in minutes, thanks to handing over some email management control to AI. SaneBox allows me to focus on what's actually important, helping me respond faster to important emails by increasing my attention capacity.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I'm sometimes not 100% sure how to permanently re-categorize incorrectly filtered emails (i.e. whether I can do that on mobile, or whether I have to use my computer's Gmail website to do that). Perhaps there should be a tighter automated feedback loop to verify that a sender will show up in the inbox in future. I recommended it to my old high school's alumni organisation, but they found the cost a bit steep.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox filters out unimportant emails, saving me time by reducing spam and distractions. It helps me respond faster to important emails due to increased attention capacity. The smooth billing and quick filtering make email management seamless, cutting my inbox count by a third.

 ### 5. Effortless Email Management with SaneBox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomas P. | Software Developer

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how simple SaneBox is to set up. It just connects and links with my Fastmail account and works out of the box, creating three compartments: important emails in Inbox, less important ones to SaneLater, and those not important at all to SaneNews. I find this organization incredibly helpful. The AI used in SaneNews and SaneLater to sort all the emails is fantastic, and the value for the price is great.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There's a problem with SaneBox when it comes to handling notifications for important emails. I use Fastmail, and it's tricky because I can only choose between getting notifications for all emails or just selected VIP ones. I can't get notifications specifically for those that end up only in the inbox, which is something SaneBox based on IMAP doesn't currently support.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find SaneBox simplifies my email management by sorting my emails into compartments like Inbox, SaneLater, and SaneNews. It helps in identifying important emails easily and is simple to set up.

 ### 6. SaneBox: The Only Tool That Truly Solved My Email Overload ⭐️

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pinky A. | Immigration Attorney, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like SaneBox's automatic filtering feature, which organizes less important emails into separate folders and allows me to focus on the important emails that remain in my inbox. I use features like SaneLater and SaneNews daily to review emails at a more convenient time and recategorize them when needed. I also appreciate the SaneBox Daily Digest, which gives me a quick summary of the number of filtered emails and shows how many would otherwise have cluttered my inbox. As a solo attorney who receives a high volume of emails, I find these features incredibly helpful. I had tried many email clients and apps before, but none effectively solved the email filtering problem the way SaneBox does. I've been using SaneBox for a year now, and I continue to use it because it has consistently helped me stay organized and productive. I don't see myself stopping its use anytime soon.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I do not have any major dislikes about SaneBox. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the user interface, which is fairly basic and not particularly modern. However, since SaneBox works primarily behind the scenes and performs its functions exceptionally well, this has never affected my overall experience.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using SaneBox, my inbox was overwhelming. Important emails from clients, potential clients, and even government notifications were often mixed with newsletters, marketing emails, software notifications, and other less important messages, making it easy for important emails to get buried and overlooked. SaneBox solved this problem by automatically filtering less important emails into separate folders while keeping important messages in my inbox. I can also easily train the system by recategorizing emails when needed. As a result, I spend less time managing my inbox. I'm more productive and have greater confidence that I am not missing important communications.

 ### 7. Intuitive Email Management with SaneBox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Enterprise Sales Engineer - New England, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I really like SaneBox because it's super intuitive and easy to use. The drag and drop method and pre-built folders make setting up my email very straightforward. I also love how I can use multiple email boxes, and the ability to create custom folders is really helpful. The feature that I love the most is the drag and drop functionality because I don't have to think about managing my email box or setting up rules, which I used to hate. If an email doesn't go to the right box, I just move it where it should go. Once you set up the whole admin background, it's just easy to use on autopilot. The receipts folder is cleverly done, and I find the overall ease of use to be one of the most important aspects. SaneBox isn't all up in my face; once it's working, it's just working, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

N/A

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to organize my inbox and prioritize tasks, making email management easier across multiple accounts. It helps me know what to work on and when, reducing the difficulty of managing daily communication.

 ### 8. SaneBox Makes a High-Volume Inbox Manageable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott W. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox makes a high-volume inbox manageable. In 2025, I received 68,380 emails, had 407 emails on my busiest day, and SaneBox archived 68,633 emails while saving me an estimated 416 hours.

What I like best is that SaneBox helps separate the emails that need my attention from the ones that can wait. That makes it much easier to stay focused and not feel buried by my inbox. I would have a hard time keeping up with email without it.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I do not have any real dislikes. The hardest part is simply following their process and giving SaneBox the time it needs to learn how you want your email sorted. Once you commit to the process and train it properly, it works extremely well.

For me, the setup and learning period is worth it because of the time and effort it saves every day.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox is solving the problem of email overload. I receive a high volume of email, and without a system to sort and prioritize it, my inbox can quickly become overwhelming.

In 2025, I received 68,380 emails, with 407 emails on my busiest day. SaneBox archived 68,633 emails and saved me an estimated 416 hours. That time savings is the biggest benefit for me.

SaneBox helps move lower-priority emails out of the way so I can focus on the messages that actually need my attention. It makes email much more manageable, reduces the time I spend sorting through my inbox, and helps me stay focused during the workday.

 ### 9. Keeps My Inbox Organized and My Workflow Stress-Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly-Anne T. | Executive Personal Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It keeps my workflow clean and tidy. The filters I’ve set up for sorting my emails make my day feel much less chaotic.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I dont have any dislikes, I think as a whole the product is great.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox literally keeps my mailbox sane. It automatically sorts email into categories once you’ve trained it, and the Blackhole for spam means I never have to see those messages again. There’s also a CC folder, so anything I’m CC’d on goes straight into that mailbox, etc. Overall, it makes the daily flow of incoming email much more efficient, so I’m not wading through spam just to get to the actual work emails.

 ### 10. Effortless Inbox Management, Worth Every Penny

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly G. | QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like how easy SaneBox is to implement, and I appreciate the speed of its use. The setup took less than a half hour and was very quick and easy. I love that it constantly learns how to sort emails according to my preferences, which saves me from needing to hire an assistant. SaneBox eliminates the anxiety and overwhelm of managing my email inbox by sorting newsletters, receipts, and spam to ensure I only see what's important.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I do wish that there was a way to tell it that not everything from the same domain goes to the same place. Prioritizing things by sender would be great.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox organizes my work and personal inboxes, reducing overwhelm and anxiety. It prioritizes important emails and sorts newsletters and spam, enhancing my email management.

 ### 11. SaneBox Keeps My Busy Inbox Clean—Install and Forget

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernt M. | Kommunfullmäktige, ordinarie ledamot, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

As a person who gets about 150 emails a day, SaneBox is very helpful to sort out the real junk from my inbox. so that I can make sure that my time is spent on the email that is actually to me. This software is sort of install and forget.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I can't find any downsides with SaneBox, unless you quit using it, of course ;-) It's very easy to install and use.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Sanebox is solving is that it gives me back my time. Time that otherwise would have been spent deleting junk mail

 ### 12. Email Under Control: Digest Scheduling and SaneBlackHole Are Game-Changers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox has allowed me to truly put a "container" around my email. Instead of being constantly interrupted, I have it set up to open my digest at 2:00 PM each day. By the time I open it, I feel completely empowered and in the right headspace to review what’s accumulated in my SaneLater and SaneNews folders. I also absolutely love the SaneBlackHole feature. It is incredibly satisfying to drop random, unwanted emails in there and know I’ll never have to deal with them again. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Honestly, there isn't much to complain about. It takes a few days of training to get the filters exactly where you want them, but the AI learns incredibly fast. It's well worth the tiny initial effort.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inbox clarity and empowerment

 ### 13. Effortlessly Cleans Inbox Clutter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andre S. | Managing Director, Computer Hardware, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like that SaneBox is quite reliable and it seems to get the job done very well. I appreciate how it works out of the box from the get-go. It's extremely easy to set up; pretty much everything was automatically done, which I like. SaneBox is my go-to tool for removing clutter from my inbox so I'm not distracted and can focus on what I need to do.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

So when there's a holiday, for instance, during the work week, SaneBox does not understand holidays from my country. So it would be nice to be able to turn off the receiving of emails during the holidays.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to remove inbox clutter, keeping distracting emails out of sight so I can focus on important tasks.

 ### 14. Peace of Mind: Important Emails Never Get Lost with SaneBox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan S. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox gives me the peace of mind to focus on my job instead of living in my email client, because I know the important emails won’t get lost in the noise.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

It’s a premium product with a premium price. I appreciate that sustainable software needs revenue, and that they’ve avoided ads and selling data, so it’s a compromise I’m happy to make.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automatically processes the hundreds of emails I receive every day across multiple email accounts, separating what’s important from the noise.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom B. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

After 10+ years with SaneBox, I can say without hesitation it's the best email tool I've ever used. The AI sorting is eerily accurate — it learns fast and rarely gets it wrong. SaneBlackHole alone is worth the subscription. I've recommended it to everyone I know who struggles with inbox overload. It doesn't just help you manage email; it fundamentally changes your relationship with it.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There is nothing that I dislike about SaneBox.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The AI sorting is eerily accurate — it learns fast and rarely gets it wrong. SaneBlackHole alone is worth the subscription. It doesn't just help you manage email; it fundamentally changes your relationship with it.

 ### 16. Easy to Set Up and Even Easier to Maintain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Coporate IT Co-op, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Easy to setup, yes! But, most importantly, easy to maintain!!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The limits on the number of folders. I could increase for additional price but I found the sweet spot at 6 and made it work.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My emails would pile up and I couldn’t review them. Now they are grouped in the correct folder to review when I need or want to review based on topic. Maintaining the organization is as simple as moving the email to the correct folder.

 ### 17. Massive Inbox Reduction with Consistently Accurate Sorting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

**What do you like best?**

The massive reduction in inbox volume. SaneBox accurately sorts incoming mail so my primary inbox only holds what actually needs my attention. Newsletters, promotions, and non-urgent updates get filtered out automatically, and I can see at a glance what falls into each category rather than wading through everything. The sorting is consistently accurate, which means I trust it and don't have to double-check what it moves.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I’d like a more straightforward to train new emails that it doesn’t capture on the first pass.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email overload. I was receiving far more email than I could promptly triage, and important messages were getting buried under newsletters, promotions, and low-priority updates. SaneBox solves this by automatically sorting incoming mail so my primary inbox only contains what needs my attention. The benefit is less time spent sifting through my inbox, less risk of missing something important, and a clearer view of what each message actually is before I decide whether to engage with it.

 ### 18. Easy Email Categorization That Keeps My Inbox Clean

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry W. | Lead Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It’s an easy way to categorize my emails and keeps my inbox so much cleaner. One feature I especially like is called sane black hole. It’s a great way to stop seeing certain emails without having to unsubscribe.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

It’s not a big deal, but I wish I had more sand boxes. I could set up at the most basic plan but I get it.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes getting to my email inbox processed so much better. I hate doing email

 ### 19. SaneBox has truly made me feel more sane--(thoughI still keep subscribing to too many newsletters!)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicki M. | Investigator of Mysteries, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

As a person who subscribes to probably too many newsletters, I was drowing in email. I no longer trusted that unsubscribe works for many senders. And, because I didn't want Google's Gemini training on my email contents, I turned off smart features, which took away sorting feature--so I was LOST and overwhelmed by my inbox. Sanebox is genius! I especially love the Sane BlackBox, where I can send email I no longer want to see, without hurting friends' feeling by unsubscribing. I feel confident that what is important is quickly and easily findable.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

So far I don't see any downsides to using SaneBox. The only reason I gave 8 stars for how likely I am to recommend to friends is that most people I know don't get as much email as I do.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to have to spend time everyday scanning and deleting all the email I get, in order to keep my google account from getting full and to avoid missing anything important. Now Sanebox does that for me.

 ### 20. Effortless Email Management with Smart AI

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark N. | Special Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love SaneBox for its ease-of-use, primarily through its AI learning that constantly improves filtering ability. Nothing else I've tried comes close. Its ability to filter my personal email into several boxes, like News, Marketing, and Receipts, and filter my business email into client folders is incredibly helpful. I also find it very easy to set up, and the default settings are sufficient for most situations.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I would like more freedom to create custom AI folders on the personal plan.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox filters my emails into organized folders, using AI to improve sorting over time. It makes my email management easier by learning my preferences and creating a more streamlined inbox.

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Associate Broker, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like that SaneBox learns and adapts to my needs. It's simple to use and I am able to train it to recognize email origins and categorize them how I prefer. It saves me a significant amount of time, about 2-3 hours each week. The initial setup was easy, and overall, I find it to be a useful product.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I suppose it could better identify junk from important emails - however it is pretty good

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to better manage my personal and professional emails, saving me 2-3 hours a week by reducing time spent looking through daily emails. It learns and adapts, allowing me to train it to recognize email origins.

 ### 22. Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaimee H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I use SaneBox for organizing my business and personal email. It helps me to prioritize important emails and revisit unnecessary ones. I find SaneBox easy to use and reliable. I love the Sane Next week feature since I travel often, and it allows me to delay emails that only apply to things I can do when I'm home. The initial setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Sometimes, after filing the emails, they come back into my inbox.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox helps me prioritize important emails and delay less urgent ones. The Sane Next Week feature is great for managing emails relevant only when I'm home, allowing for better organization while I travel.

 ### 23. Effortless Email Organization with SaneBox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy R. | IT Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like the ease of use and the ability of SaneBox to clean up my email. It helps keep my inbox from being overrun with vendor emails and newsletters, which was causing me to miss important information. SaneBox brings organization to that situation. The ease of use makes me feel less pressured to achieve a zero inbox and keeps me from feeling guilty about not staying on top of my emails. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I have no complaints. I’d love to recommend it to my friends; however, I don’t think they’d like having to pay for a subscription.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox keeps my inbox from running amok, organizing vendor emails and newsletters so I don't miss important information. It eases the pressure of reaching inbox zero and reduces my guilt for not staying on top of emails.

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Super affordable for the features that I care about

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There were some errors in the past when I changed timezone, but after emailing with them a bit, it seems sorted out now.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox schedules emails to arrive at my inbox only once per day, so I don't get distracted with a zillion emails

 ### 25. SaneBox Is a Real Time Saver for Managing Email Categories

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abe M. | Retired, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox reduces the amount of time I spend reviewing incoming emails. The different categories, SaneCC, SaneLater, SaneNews, etc. make it easy to manage. It is definitely a time saver!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

It's more difficult to use on my iPhone because of the mail app.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me spend less time sorting through my emails and more time focusing on other important tasks.

 ### 26. Effortless Email Management Directly in Gmail

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like how SaneBox really just works without needing a separate application. It integrates right into Gmail, moving emails around naturally, and the training over time is basically perfect. It's just nice that I don't have to leave my normal email client, and it augments the sorting in the way I probably already use Gmail. The initial setup was very easy, basically instant.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I think the training interface can be a little hard to adjust to at first, but after using it every day for a couple months, I feel very confident in it.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox helps me by sorting out emails I don't want, working seamlessly in Gmail without needing a separate app. It augments email sorting perfectly over time.

 ### 27. I love SaneBox.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Sr Digital Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how it automatically organizes my inbox for me.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

So far, I haven’t found any downsides to using it.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me spot the important emails right away, and then I can go through the rest when I have time.

 ### 28. SaneBox Keeps My Inbox Pristine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

My inbox stays pristine thanks to SaneBox.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Takes time to train and double-check that my spam is actually spam,

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using SaneBox for a long time, and it has fundamentally changed how I manage email.

Email is one of the highest-volume inputs into my day, and without disciplined filtering, it quickly becomes a productivity drain. SaneBox solves this problem elegantly. It keeps my primary inbox pristine, intelligently categorizes incoming messages, and allows me to focus immediately on what actually matters—without requiring constant manual rules or configuration.

What sets SaneBox apart is that it learns. Over time, it becomes increasingly accurate at identifying signal versus noise, and it does so quietly in the background. I rarely have to think about it—which is exactly how a great productivity tool should function.

I can say without exaggeration that SaneBox has likely saved me hundreds of hours that would otherwise have been lost to inbox triage, distraction, and unnecessary context switching. That reclaimed time translates directly into better focus, higher-quality work, and reduced cognitive load.

For anyone who receives a meaningful volume of email—especially executives, founders, researchers, or anyone operating in high-signal environments—I consider SaneBox not just useful, but essential.

Highly recommended.

 ### 29. SaneBox: Effortless Email Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Manager of Software Engineering

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how SaneBox manages all the clutter in my e-mail inboxes by catching unimportant mail and filtering it into other folders, and it also flags important e-mails for my quick response. Since using it, I've saved at least 5 hours each week because I don't have to manually manage my inbox. The extra time I save allows me to spend more time on other activities. The initial setup was very easy, just by pointing it at my e-mail inboxes, and it created an API token to start sorting e-mail immediately. I find the web app very easy to follow, and it's great that I can use SaneBox with both Outlook and Gmail.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The mobile app could use some better organization in the UI.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox filters out unimportant emails, saving me at least 5 hours each week and lets me focus on more valuable tasks.

 ### 30. Organizes My Email and Saves Me So Much Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom S. | Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It organizes my email saving me so much time.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Not really anything. But I am looking for ways to incorporate it with AI agents.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My email is now categorized. I know no longer waste time searching.

 ### 31. Big difference in filtering important emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Sanebox has made a big difference in email time management: now much more time is dedicated to important messages and innovation, and less to cluttered messages. We have deployed Sanebox through our different branches

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Nothing that I dislike at this moment about Sanebox

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solve spending much less time finding important emails: it filters them and allows us to spend more time on important emails and innovation.

 ### 32. Simple and reliable email management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heiko v.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like that SaneBox works based on rules. The rules are clear and essentially based on the sender. This makes it easy, as you decide once where a sender belongs, and then it works very reliably. The simplicity ensures that everything works well, without much fuss or complicated AI, which often doesn't work reliably.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

As is often the case, the greatest strength is the greatest weakness. It would of course be nice if SaneBox could also recognize the content of the emails. Sometimes a sender sends invoices, newsletters, and important messages. But I have to decide which folder it should go into. The simplicity is the greatest strength, but also the greatest weakness.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to pre-sort my inbox. With a lot of emails, like newsletters and important mails, SaneBox helps by sorting them into different folders, allowing me to focus on what is essential.

 ### 33. Transforms Email Management with Clear Rules and Effective Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel K. | Solutions Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

The combination of a clear, rules-based email categorization and the Inbox Zero Academy. The product helps establish a simple and effective mental model for handling email (now, later, and reference-only), and the training explains why this works rather than just pushing features. In practice, this helped me reduce a severely cluttered inbox and maintain a sustainable workflow across time.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Some features go beyond what is strictly necessary once you have internalized the Inbox Zero principles. For users who mainly want a clean, minimal setup, the breadth of options can feel more than required.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox addresses the problem of inbox overload and constant interruption caused by low-priority email. By automatically separating important messages from informational or reference-only emails, it reduces cognitive load and decision fatigue. For me, this resulted in a significantly smaller, more focused inbox and a clearer distinction between emails that require action now, later, or never. The benefit is improved focus and a calmer, more predictable email workflow rather than reactive inbox management.

 ### 34. Works Out of the Box to Keep Your Inbox Clear

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian B. | Head of Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It just works – out of the box it's really effective at filing mail in the right places and helping you keep a clear inbox. And once you start training it, it just keeps getting better.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The only downside is that once you add several different boxes and multiple mail accounts, it can get pricey – but if you're focused on just one email address, it's a bargain.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone knows the feeling of a disorderly inbox, one that has newsletters, receipts, personal correspondence and business stuff all in one place. Sanebox can solve that for you.

 ### 35. Streamlines Email Management, Needs Better AI

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leila B. | Team Growth Strategist & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like that SaneBox helps me spend less time managing my email by eliminating distracting messages and organizing them with a digest. The black hole feature is great because it doesn't just move messages to a junk folder like my email client, but uses intelligence to permanently eradicate unwanted messages. I also appreciate the intelligent rules. I've used them in the past to manage receipts, and now I use them to streamline and manage newsletters. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The AI seems to need a bit more training than I'd like, requiring me to still continue checking folders to ensure it didn't miss anything. And the price point is higher than I think the current feature set warrants. I think the full feature set should be available for the price (at least until the AI is improved, at which time I'd pay more). I still use Sanebox but downgraded to a lower tier subscription and just one of my email addresses rather than my prior 3 until it improves.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to eliminate distracting messages, organize emails, and streamline inbox management with a digest, saving me time. The black hole feature intelligently eradicates unwanted messages, while smart rules pretty effectively manage newsletters.

 ### 36. Saves Time by Cutting Notification Noise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean W. | Co Founder & Chair of the Board of the Directors, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It saves me so much time by cutting down on notifications and newsletters. I’m able to focus on what matters and get things done in a more timely manner.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Not much overall. The daily review can be pretty time-intensive and takes more effort than I expected.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The constant distraction caused by the noise of email notifications.

 ### 37. Quick, Easy Setup That Takes the Stress Out of My Inbox. Used for a few years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Takes the stress out of my inbox, it's quick and easy to set up

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The daily emails and I think some of the folders included in the price could be more

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It sorts emails into folders, so I don't have to

 ### 38. Effortless Email Management with SaneBox

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aidan L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like SaneBox for its auto sort and mass delete options. My inbox isn't full of spam, and I can just go to a category to see what I want or save space by deleting emails. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I think SaneBox could be improved with more options and customizations. It would be helpful to have more categories or some sort of AI functionality.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to auto organize my email inbox and easily mass delete emails or spam, solving storage problems. It auto sorts emails into chosen categories, keeping my inbox free from spam and letting me quickly see or delete what I need.

 ### 39. Makes Email Overload Disappear

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

very good at learning preferences, filtering almost 'disappears' and reduces the overall load of email to deal with

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

wish it covered more email accounts for the money

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

has virtually eliminated to solicitation & junk from my inbox. has created valuable folders where all my receipts get collected in one place, easy to find. email triage and replying to important emails- things don't get missed in the flood of email

 ### 40. Supercharges Inbox Management Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin W.

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I really appreciate how SaneBox helps me keep my inbox manageable. My favorite thing about it is the SaneReminders tool. When I send an email asking someone to do something, it lets me bcc a specific date, and then on that specific date a reminder comes back to me. This way, I no longer need to keep separate lists of what I'm waiting on from different people. It saves me a lot of time and brain space remembering or tracking down what other people are doing for me, making me much more efficient. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and they gave me a great orientation.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Nothing - it's one of my favorite products

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

 ### 41. SaneBox Transformed My Inbox Organization Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grand Master Art M. | Founder - CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox is wonderful. It has saved my sanity literally because of how easily I can organize my inbox as to not miss anything important, and worry about less important emails at a later time. The blackhole feature is gold.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I have zero complaints, they are always inproving features.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not have to sort or prioritize emails. I get hundreds per day, all with different priorities. My worries are gone.

 ### 42. Great for Filtering Out Unnecessary Emails

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It's great for helping me filter out unnecessary emails.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The online Sanebox interface feels a bit clunky and not as streamlined as I would like.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me deal with inbox overwhelming, and filtering out less important emails.

 ### 43. SaneBox: Reliable, Efficient, and Effortless Email Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I find SaneBox to be reliable and intelligent, and it's easy to follow. I think it's efficient and encouraging, and above all, reassuring. The initial setup was flawless.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I can't think of anything right now. Maybe deleting messages or opening them right from the app.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox for email management, helping me with email overwhelm.

 ### 44. SaneBox is integral for my deep work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | Non-Profit Data & Technology Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

The thing I love most about SaneBox is that it helps keep me true to my dedication and promise to check email 1 time a day. It is super easy to navigate and set up and it has a ton of customizations that can help with email management. SaneBox is absolutely integral for my ability to do deep work and focus on what is important. Email management is a time suck, and SaneBox helps give me back hundreds of hours a year in time, and also in sanity.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Nothing! SaneBox is a great tool and I have no complaints.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the problem of distraction and time suck from email management.

 ### 45. Sanebox is a great tool to achieve inbox zero

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aron K. | Tech Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Sanebox is an easy-to-use email app with a short learning curve.

I think Sanebox currently offers the most efficient way to clean up your email account and reach inbox zero. Personally, I spend only 15 minutes deleting almost 10,000 emails.

Sanebox's features not only help you clean up your inbox but also make your email management more organized and less stressful.

It was also great that during the two-week free trial, you can try every feature, so you will know which feature you need when changing to paid plans.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

It would be fantastic if Sanebox would have a free plan.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dealing with the email overload & cleaning up my email account.

 ### 46. smart email management that will free your time.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2024

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I don’t like the unwanted emails that distract from the work and really appreciate how SaneBox filters them out automatically.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The only disadvantage of it is that the initial configuration requires some time for training, however after doing that, it works like a magic.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox indeed helps me to be more organized and cut down the hours spent on non-essential emails by directing focus on the most important ones.

 ### 47. Sanebox has changed my worklife profoundly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** isaac t. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

My inbox was so out of control I often gave up. Sanebox has freed up so much time that I feel like a commercial i would not even believe. But it's true. If you spend time up front training it, and then a small amount as you go, you will still save hours a week! And I feel so much better.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I like everything about it. Everything works beautifully. It would be nice to be able to more selectively choose emails that need replies.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to trash the trash and focus on what matters. I was getting so many new spam emails a day, the unsubscribe options the spam provided never worked, and sanebox solves these problems for me.

 ### 48. Works as described and expected - makes Email manageable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2023

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It has lots of options and flexability to configure it to work how I like.

It is extremely helpful and managing my inbox - gets the junk out of the way and leaves important and actionable stuff for me to deal with.

It just works!

Their team has been awesome to deal with!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The one issue I have, is when it "returns" an email to me - it adds in the original date to the subject, so you know it is a "re-run". That doesn't always work/display right. Not sure if that is them or an email client issue - but it does cause me some confusion sometimes - but this is a very minor annoyance.

Beyond that, nothing that I can think of.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps the important emails in my Inbox - and everything else is not. Makes it easy to work on the important stuff during the day - and scan the other folders at night.

Being able to snooze various emails to come back later is great.

By BCCing a date/time - I can have the email come back to me to make sure I got a response. A life savor for people that send a lot of email requests to people that don't always answer you.

 ### 49. SaneBox makes it possible to get through my day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph M. | President, Missouri Oncology Society, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2023

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I get 3-400 emails a day, so I live in fear of missing important emails. SaneBox separates, very cleanly, those emails from newsletters or not directed at me to SaneNews or SaneLater boxes, leaving important emails as primary. Their daily digest lets you train email, but I found that using a Gmail interface, I can scan the SaneNews or SaneLater boxes and, if an important email is there, train SaneBox by simply dragging the email to Primary- far easier than other schemes! Better yet, I can train mails to "SaneBlackHole", so I never have to see them again! Much easier than unsubscribing. I also value the ability to forward an email to the future and can specify date and time, so that it shows up just prior to a meeting. As I said, SaneBox gets me through my day. I should also note that they are responsive to email questions about problems or features.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The Digest is a bit confusing at times, as I still struggle with the fine points of training emails. I'm not always sure I'm always doing it correctly. I use the method of dragging to the appropriate box in the email interface, which also trains them. SaneBox would benefit from more precise instructions on features and how to use them.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said, getting through my hundreds of emails daily- very critical to me.

 ### 50. SaneBox is a life saver for every professional.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gijs V. | Expert Immobilier et Financier, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2022

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Sanebox prepares my email box for me. I just open my email and start working.
No pre sorting needed.
The AI is excellent. One instruction and all future emails go to the right box.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The dashboard could be simpler - it is a bit complicated to navigate.
I'd like some more sorting boxes to be able to sort more specifically.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before SANEBOX I spent literally hours per day on sorting and treating the hundreds of emails that I receive everyday.
The automatic email groups provided in my apple mail are really not the solution for that.
Now SaneBox has done the work for me BEFORE I open my box.
I can quickly scan what is important - put to later what needs reading - and focus on my priorities.
SaneBox saves me at least 2 to 3 hours work per day.
The service they provide is the best in the world, I cannot imagine my work as coach and consultant without SaneBox. I would be able to concentrate on my priorities.
