**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Sanebox allows you to schedule emails into the future. Not only does this impact your work-life balance but has ramification for the entire organization.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The pricing structure can get unwieldy. There are a lot of features, and a revenue model for all companies needs to work. Sanebox charges by the number of features you use into various tiers. While this works, it gets confusing to understand.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we know, many solutions have attempted to replace the Inbox, transform the Inbox, or get rid of it all together. Since that fateful day, the SMTP standard was created, none have succeeded, and the Inbox lives on. SaneBox, well, brings sanity to that Inbox. Give you control over all aspects. From emails you send that are responded to, emails that don't need to be reviewed as an emergency to scheduling emails in the future to a time that the recipient will more likely read your email or from an essential work-life balance perspective, not send an email at 1 am.

Sanebox doesn't really have any down sides, because you set its rules to suit yourself.

The problem that i have solved with Sanebox is that before I started using Sanebox I was totally overwhelmed with emails to my inboxes.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Before using Sanebox I would "Save as Unread" any message that was even remotely important (from a message from Mom, to an upcoming conference, to a bill that's due) and tell myself I would get back to it... and sure enough, months would go by, and I'd have 500 email messages that have gone "unread" and my anxiety would skyrocket until I forced myself to sit own and go through them... Sanebox offers me a way to confidently delay messages and keep track of what's important! The software is a surefire win for anyone looking to keep track of their email and focus on what's important! It's excellent!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The backend interface isn't as user-friendly as others I am use to using, but I am really, really reaching here...I never go to the backend - but if I *had* to pick something, that would be it... but the software is amazing!

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sanebox allows me to focus on what is essential, amazingly and intuitively filters out what is not important, and allows me to confidently delay messages that don't need my attention right away. It is terrific! I am getting more done in less time and much, much more confident of my inbox!

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox prioritizes emails extremely well, filtering out the stuff that's not high priority. I like that it uses multiple folders/labels - so I can check those as required. It rarely has a false positive on filtering out (e.g. important emails stay in the primary inbox) - which is really important for me.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

It does take some upfront training / configuration. It isn't too bad to do, and it's intuitive to figure out, however it still needs that investment time.

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

I'd definitely recommend Sanebox over existing / built in solutions - it's much more accurate and seamless.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sanebox reduces the amount of time I spend triaging and responding to emails. It's especially helpful when I'm really busy - I can see what require priority, and then focus on the rest later. It saves a huge amount of time, and let's me focus when I need to.

Interface to work and organize email by folders, by email domain I can select importance within the system to organize by priority.

Setting up for external email systems gives me problems sometimes.

Organize email on PC, synchronize with external server and prioritize by the domain name of external company my requirements.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

My husband recommended this company because I received an overwhelming amount of emails each day that took away valuable time to focus on what was important. I signed on many years back and keep renewing.  Time is precious as is my sanity and this application has performed as promised.  I honestly only receive a few/handful of critical emails a day, and it's such a relief.  I still hear colleagues talk about overwhelming email despite all of the filters built in to their providers service.  I always recommend Sanebox.  

Even the new junk emails go to junk without me saying so, the filtering is really good.  I review it occasionally and tag/move to a more important folder on something I want to pay more attention to in the future. The app "remembers" it and funnels it to a different folder I specify.  I've been using this service a long time, so I'm just used to it and take it for granted.  On my downtime, I review the @sanelater emails and @sanenewsletter emails to make sure important items aren't missed (because they are new).  It's a click to train my inbox to recognize it's important.   At the end if the day, I feel in control of my email and not the other way around. Saves me so much time and frustration/distraction weeding through emails. I also feel confident I’m not going to miss important emails.  It saves me hours/stress per week.  Great value.  There are many other features I'm not currently using... know there is so much I could be benefitting from!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There really isn't anything I dislike...

If you want to use my review you can use the name, Amy (interior designer).  Anything more would need to be approved by me.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I save many hours each week with this filtering software.  I'm more efficient because I can focus on the important stuff first- and not miss the important stuff.  If a new email arrives in a box I'd prefer it not too, I can easily train it to the correct one.  I also like the nudge feature that reminds me to follow up if someone has not responded to my email in a timely fashion.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

The best thing about Sanebox is the BLACK HOLE feature!  I get SO MUCH SPAM, but even when I DO sign up for newsletters of my own accord, I get tired of them after a while. Unsubscribing doesn't always work, but dragging them to the BLACK HOLE folder DOES!  I can always get them back out if I need them, but really - who needs all that stuff?  BE GONE FROM ME, UNWANTED EMAIL!  Let me get back to my day! 

PS:  I run THREE businesses and couldn't do it without Sanebox.  I'm a longtime subscriber and an evangelist for this easy-to-use and much-needed service!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I dislike that I don't use all of the features of this wonderful product/service.  I wish I were better at the REMIND feature.  I need to work on that!

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CLEARING THE CLUTTER is the #1 problem I'm solving.  I can easily get "rid" of email visually, which minimizes distractions.  And with 8 email addresses and 3 businesses, I need all the focus I can get!

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

The best thing about SaneBox is that it works.  It does what it says it will do.  Clean up your inbox.  In today's email world, that says a lot. I've been using SaneBox for a few years now and cannot imagine not using it.  Not to sound cliched...but my inbox was an out-of-control wasteland.  So many emails were unsolicited which made it hard to get to the ones I needed to get to.  It's not all, "automatic".  You need to understand HOW it works to make it work best for you....which doesn't take that long.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Well, it's not that I dislike anything about it.  There are some little things I was not aware of at the start which I learned down the road...probably because I should have spent more time configuring it.  There are a couple of things I would change on the dashboard to make it better....things like..."this is where this goes"...."make sure you respond to this"...but overall...SaneBox is well worth it.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Your INBOX and your SANE LATER box are keys to success.  Understanding setting up what goes into your INBOX and SANE LATER box will make your life so much easier.  ONBOX is what you NEED to deal with....SANE LATER is what you can deal with later...but you still need to understand you are setting up multiple inboxes based on what's important, what's sort of important...and what can wait till you get to it.

I have been a subscriber for 2 years and it is a great product.

Sanebox saves a huge amount of time, along with lowered blood pressure, especially as it relates to the endless quantity of annoying and unwanted Emails.  Sanebox filters (moves) all your Emails to the proper place in your INBOX when YOU filter your EMAILS to a SANE BLACK HOLE, SANE LATER or other options you choose.  You are responsible to TRAIN your Emails to the proper filter.  It is "a piece of cake."

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There is no downside.  None! This is a superb product all the way!

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

But as a helpful  note - look in your TRASH and SANE BLACK HOLE from time to time to make sure some Emails that are there- should be read. Therefore, you also need to make sure that what you trained is correct. Sanebox sends a weekly Email to verify this.  Go to your account on the Sanebox Website and make sure that the Emails are filtered properly.

The Emails that are in the SANE BLACK HOLE are not even being looked at and saving a huige amount of time.  SANE LATER is the place I assign Emails to read but not immediately. This is basically a productivity tool.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I liked the ease of use from the start. I feel like the team overall did a fantastic job with the introductory and setup of the service. Everything is easy to find, structure, and transition so that you can be more organized as your days go on. If I ever had a question about anything, the team could get back to me quickly and support me to make their product work for me. They make organizing my email and lifestyle more manageable with the touch of a few buttons.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

One thing I dislike is their lack of additional supported products to enhance other aspects of someone's lifestyle, including rounding up text messages and working with encrypted email services such as Protonmail. Privacy is essential in today's digital age, and that would enhance our overall lifestyle. They do an excellent job of helping with the cluttered and constantly challenged email space, but expanding beyond that would make it a better overall investment.

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

If your digital email life is a mess, then use this product. I am very critical of the products I use and have dumped many for underperforming when needed. I have now been with them for my third year, and I consider them an essential service to manage my daily professional and personal workflow.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem they solve is dealing with the constant bombardment of emails, bills, payments, and other notifications that come from many places at once. They also help me boot spam that gets through the filtering systems for Gmail and FastMail because sometimes even the best-curated systems fail.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

My email address is 10+ years old, and I receive so many emails that I could not handle it without SaneBox. I cant put my spam filter on red alert as it might (and has) blocked actual client emails, but I can tell SaneBox what to do with A. emails that come from my clients B. what to do with emails that are secondary in importance or spam etc. One might think that filtering features found in email clients would make SaneBox obsolete. I guess in some scenarios that might be true, but not in mine. My email client offers filtering, but it's so cumbersome, and SaneBox just works.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

When email clients develop enough, SaneBox has a tough job to keep up delivering something that is hard to obtain without it. Currently, SaneBox is on top of its game, though.

It makes managing the unmanageable flow of emails manageable.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Sanebox is a lifesaver, being able to triage my mailbox a few times a day lets me focus on what I need to get done rather than monitoring my inbox. I recommend it to all business owners & busy employees I know. I love mail filtering and the snooze features. Being able to trust that an email will pop back up when it's needed is huge to me. I like being able to filter incoming emails by domain to make sure I never miss an important client email. Using SaneBox is so much easier than setting custom rules in Outlook, and I never have to worry if it's not working. And the A.I. learning is top-notch in identifying how to categorize new email senders. I cannot recommend SaneBox enough. The main features I use are SaneLater, SaneNews, SaneBlackhole, and Snooze folders. I've also used the Sane Do Not Disturb option for weekend email.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I've been using SaneBox for 3+ years, and there's nothing I dislike about it, it's one of my favorite services. It's easy to learn how to use and requires minimal setup / adjustments. The only features I don't regularly use are the Sane Attachments, SaneCC, and Sane Reminders, mainly because I use the snooze feature as the reminder, but I've tested all of them and they worked just fine.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time and stress, and keeps my inbox clean. I forward all of my mail, business and personal into one email address, and rely on SaneBox to filter out all the junk and capture the most important emails. Before using SaneBox I was checking my email several times an hour, and having to manually filter out junk mail and newsletters. Now all that stuff gets filtered automatically, and I have newsletters set to automatically delete after a fixed amount of time if I don't delete them first. I know where coupons and misc offers go, and I can look in SaneBlackHole if I'm going somewhere specific, but that folder also auto deletes after so many days, so I never wind up with hundreds and thousands of useless emails to sort through / delete.

Dragging inboxes to their correct folders is super easy when you're getting set up and the algorithms are great. Now that I've been using it for 2 years, it does a fantastic job of correctly sorting all my mail with little to no intervention from me.Folder creation is also great. I have a "newsletters" folder that's handy. I can read all my newsletters that I like, but don't necessarily want to read every one of.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There's not much to dislike about SaneBox. I guess if anything I wish I had more time to learn the advanced features it has.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted a way to keep my inbox manageable. I used to do that with unroll.me, but once I realized how unroll.me was using my data, switching to sanebox was a no brainer.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like how SaneBox is trainable and customizable. The ability to move an email to a folder that will automatically send it back to me on a specified day is invaluable. This lets me clear my inbox of items I know I will need to address but can't do it today. For me, if an item isn't in my inbox, it doesn't exist (I.e. I won't remember to look for it/do it). So having it sent back to me the next day or week or whatever is extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Sometimes I think Sanebox is almost too powerful. I ended up changing my settings so I will get a first email sent to me so I can train it, rather than the higher level of filtering which was sending emails I actually wanted to my sane later folder. There is probably a better solution for that within SaneBox, I just haven't had the time to figure it out yet.

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

Start slow and simple. Don't get carried away with a lot of trainings, etc. You will start to see how you use it, then can personalize the trainings based on your needs.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time!!! In my personal email it has saved more than 8 hours a week. In my work email it's usually around 1 - 2 hours per week that I don't have to go through useless emails. I'm thinking about expanding the service to all of our employees so they can also benefit from the time savings. The reminder emails are also helpful as I said above. I also like being able to quickly scan my daily digest and move items to my inbox if I truly need to see it. Way more efficient than  going through my inbox and deleting/foldering emails.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I have used Sane Box for the past few years.  Each day I get approximately 100 non-business related emails ranging from Spam to less important personal correspondence.  The Sane Later collects these emails for later review.  If an important email is filed in the Sane Later folder, I just drag it into my primary in box, and Sane Later is trained that all future emails from that source are to be treated as important.  Because the Sane Later emails are not interspersed with my business emails, it is extremely quick and easy to delete those I do not wish to read.  I can easily get rid of 100 unwanted emails in less than 15 seconds.  The Sane Later function alone is worth the price of admission.  Highly recommend.

No complaints with the product.  But G2 required me to type more to accept my review.

But it if you get a volume or either unwanted or less important emails.

Being a little OCD, I like that my inbox usually says "0" 😊

Every once in a while I struggle to find a message (trying to figure out whether it hasn't arrived yet, or was moved to a different folder--this sometimes happens when I request an email to reset a password, etc).

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

I really appreciate that my information is not being sold and that there are so many ways to help manage and organize emails. It's definitely an expense that I consider well worth it!

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to be so distracted by the endless emails I received. I didn't want to completely unsubscribe as they sometimes had offers I was interested in or could be useful down the road, but the volume was so high that it was keeping me from staying on top of important messages. I love that the messages are in my inbox but moved to folders that help me prioritize and minimize the time I spend sorting through messages.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

You save time in sorting out what's essential in your Inbox. After that, you can check on the "news" you've received during the day. As you review your summaries, it is not a repetitive effort, you will actually note  that SaneBox is learning what you are training it to do when you sort your e-mails! The SaneLater label becomes really relieving!

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Occasionally, you may delay reviewing the "not-so-important" email, and you may find a "first-timer" that gets the "later" label. For a common user, the filtering of domain vis-a-vis individual senders may not be easy to understand. Some times you indeed want to send to later some mail addressed to a list, where we are a part, but when containing certain words we want to exclude, so I'm struggling creating filters myself, in addition to Sanebox, obviously I do not like the idea I may be circling on instructions. The habit to review @SaneNews, there is a lot of information, but very seldom you find something that should be relocated.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is much faster to go through your inbox and detect vital messages. I have at least a couple of hours to do other things! It's an easy way to work out some sort of intelligently automated filters without think about it, you just review your summaries, technology would do the rest.

SaneBox is the best email management tool that I've ever had.  Like most people, I receive far more email than I can manage on a daily basis.  But after just a day or two of using the service, just the addition of an automatic sorting of my newsletters from my inbox was a huge timesaver.  And after manually "training" SaneBox to sort some email into the SaneLater folder, I was able to focus on important messages without much distraction.  This is a wonderful service that I highly recommend.  I think it might save me between 2-4 hours a week.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The only thing I dislike is that I've never been able to justify the time to use some of the additional features available such as the "DIY" folder.  Honestly, it's so easy to start using it that once I hit a slightly steeper learning curve, I just gave up, happy to be saving time with the existing "Later" and "News" folders.

I put almost everything non essential into the @sanelater folder and it's possible to miss a message or two if you don't look.  I just review the folder once or twice a day and can either respond to something that needs a response or train the system not to put similar messages in there in the past.

As owner of company for 25 yrs, my inbox has become the default for so many things.  Many of these things would just get archived immediately.  Having these items bypass my inbox and go to a later folder or some other folder has made managing my inbox just so much easier.  I also use it for reminders, almost like a to do list, where I can set emails to pop back into my inbox on certain dates and times very easily

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

As CEO and VC, I am involved in 25+ companies so I am an heavy email user fighting against entropy. I am subscribed to many professional email newsletters and as a typical boomer my email are my main knowledge repository : I rely on Mail search instead of memory and I automated a lot of email management (auto-reply, filtering, auto-forwarding).  I use SaneBox to sort my emails automagically in folders related to a topic or a business. Then it allow me to forward all email sorted to a folder to a contact : leads from SalesForce/Contact forms to Sales team, invoices / travel expenses to accounting of the relevant company, etc. Also I like that Saneboxx allow me to manage both my personal email (self hosted IMAP account) and my business emails (in Exchange Cloud) as sometimes I mixed accounts or people hunt me on social media. It's very simple to train Sanebox just by sorting a few mails manually, and it does the rest of the work forever. My favorite feature is the BlackHole folder, it litterally changed my life as I use it to eradicate those BDM spams from my mailbox. It works server side, so even when my computers are off, it works 24/7. Which is handy when I am on mobile, my inbox isn't clutered.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There isn't much to dislike about SaneBox except the graphical guideline of their website which is not very modern. Those guy are smart and their AI is wonderful so I would love that they integrated emails auto-answers by GPT-3 and meeting management with an synthetic clone of myself so i could stay on the beach drinking Martinis instead of having to still work ... Maybe for the next release ?

I had bad email hygiene since the birth of the internet, and i was a TV host for a decade with my email on public TV, so I manage a daily deluge of hundreds of emails per day. SaneBox save me hours each day by sorting urgent and important emails from the flow of newsletters, BCC emails, BDM pitches, spams... letting the one I actually need to read in my inbox.

Before I bought and used SaneBox I used to have hundreds (if not thousands) of spammy emails and phishing emails. Once I implemented SaneBox, I can choose which emails I wanted to read and which I just wanted to GO AWAY forever or possibly read later. SaneBox SAVES me between 20-30 hours per week and has cleaned out my IN box from ALL spam and garbage junk emails. Add up those 20-30 hours per week of combing through garbage emails and it's over 100 hours per month! I love this product, and the support is excellent too!

There is not much to dislike about this product. It simply works and makes your In-BOX SANE.

I've been using SaneBox for years and would not be without it. It's super -simple and able to work out which emails are junk or just low-priority with a really high degree of accuracy. I also love the 'Sane Blackbox' that is the nuclear option for emails that just won't let me unsubscribe or won't go away! Overall it's just a straightforward product that is totally foolproof in terms of training and usage. It saves me a lot of time and email overload, which is what it is designed for.

Pretty much nothing, to be honest. I cannot honestly say anything I would change as it does one core thing and does it very well.

I like the categories and  the No Replies folder. It is so helpful to be able to quickly see who has not replied to an email instead of having to remember. I also really like that it sorts the emails in the background and so my inbox is always pretty limited to what I need to deal with. I also really like how SaneBox was smartly categorized my inbox when I installed it. It took a few hours but it did a great job and I was able to start to gain control over my email.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I dislike the number of Digest emails I get but I think I wouldn't mind them so much if I understood the process better. I just look at where the emails went or delete the Digest emails.

I would definitely recommend the free trial to see if SaneBox is right for you. I cannot believe how helpful it has been for me and the sense of control it has given me with my email.

AI filtering keeps noise out of my inbox. Plenty of custom folders to sort email from different senders. I love that I can send receipts to a folder and they automatically archive or delete after 3 months. SaneBox saves me several hours a week, and keeps my inbox focused and uncluttered. The Black Hole allows me to easily do away with those pesky newsletters that you just can't seem unsubscribe from. 

The vacation filter is also excellent - email that comes in while I'm out of office goes into a special folder until I return, then it automatically pops back into my Inbox. I use this to make sure that my vacation time is actually free from work distractions, so I can fully rest and come back to the office refreshed.

Custom subject filters could be easier to set up, especially for those senders who send a mix of receipts and advertising from the same email address.

With SaneBox, I am able to quickly see and reply to valid email from clients or urgent mail from employees.    It automatically puts all email it has determined is not as important to me in another box I can review once daily.  My SaneBox usually has 15 times more email than what now shows up in my inbox.

The only thing I dislike is that at times it will determine a random email is not important that I wanted to view ... so those emails are only seen when I review the day's email through the digest.  I use the "SaneLater" mailbox to unsubscribe and mark as spam all of the emails we should not be receiving.

SaneBox saves me literally HOURS of time each week.  When I would see email after unwanted email, it stressed me out and distracted me from important work.  The time it would take to go in and unsubscribe from each one was overwhelming, so I didn't bother.  When SaneBox took over, it automatically got the clutter out of my way and removed that overwhelming feeling almost instantly.  Now, my email time is spent on only essential emails and the season of flipping through unwanted emails is a think of the past.

Since SaneBox is a powerhouse for getting unwanted emails out of your way.  If you're not careful, it is possible to miss an email you don't want to miss.  You need to check your folders regularly to make sure a wanted email doesn't inadvertently get tucked away.

It is worth your time to read through the instructions and understand what is happening to your email with SaneBox.  Setting up personalized email folders helps you categorize emails you know you will want to see later and know how to find something that doesn't show up in your inbox.

I have been particularly impressed with the mobile app which allows me to quickly review my SaneBox trainings on my phone.

Spending hours on email detracts from my time to do the most important work.  Just knowing that I have a full email box is a distraction in and of itself. I use Google Workspace (G-Suite) for my business and personal emails. I was finding that I was increasingly on the radar of recruitment companies, sales and marketing lists and junk mail - as well as receiving updates from friends and colleagues that were simply unimportant during my working day. 

Although Google's email solution is good at filtering the junk and spam, my inbox was still filling up very quickly each day - and it was leading to a culture of work that was driven by email distraction. 

I found myself achieving none of the really important business tasks during my day - and worse, client emails were getting buried despite my best efforts to add rules and filters. 

Along came SaneBox. I can't recall exactly when I first installed the solution to my email - but I do remember finding it very easy and intuitive. Simply moving emails to SaneLater or Sane Archive (and Sane Black Hole)  was super easy - and the system really did start to learn my preferences very quickly. 

After a short time I started to only look at the SaneLater mailbox after work. There were all my emails from personal and non-business focussed contacts - along with supplier communications and other 'less important' communications.  Meanwhile, my inbox started to become less and less cluttered. I now only receive the important client stuff (and vital non business comms) into my Inbox during my working day - which is exactly what I wanted. 

In addition, Junk / Spam and those more annoying emails are no more. There is something really liberating about putting the persistent junk / spam or irrelevant email onto the Sane BlackHole - knowing I will NEVER hear from the senders again (unless I really want to).

Above all, the process of 'training' SaneBox to understand what's important and what's for 'later' is just brilliant. Simply dragging unimportant mails to SaneLater is all I have to do - and if the system thinks I might have made a mistake it lets me know in a very friendly way. 

There is a lot more I could do with the solution - but for me the simplicity of an Inbox and a SaneLater mailbox is all I really now need. Everything else is looked after for me by the intelligent and simple system.

Custom Folders. I made one, "delete daily," where Sanebox puts senders I want to read only occasionally. Sanebox empties it for me every day. Sometimes I scan it for something interesting, like a sale, and sometimes I don't. Junk, but better. I also use the Reminders function daily. To remember to do something, or to have material or information arrive in my Inbox right when I need it, I compose a new email, forward an email,or  cc an email I've written to someone else and send it to a time/date stamped address at Sanebox. The email, with any attachments I have added, shows up in my Inbox exactly when I asked for it.

I have over-granulated my sorting and I'm going back to more general categories so I have fewer folders to deal with. The relevant question is, do I need a sender separated and sorted when it arrives, or do I want to be able to find it later--for me, I need to search the Archive not

The problem I have almost solved with SaneBox is twofold: email neglect and email love. Over time I have set up really good sorting folders, almost. I have gone from utter chaos to a blissful state of pretending what I should be doing is getting done. If I worked a job where I had to be responsive and decisive regarding email, SaneBox would have adapted my ADD brain to work in a focused and productive way. As it is, I save enormous amounts of time, and worry that I have missed something important. For a person who gets a hundred emails a day, maybe one of which matters, this is huge. I know there are people out there whose numbers in both categories are much bigger. I don't know how they survive, honestly, without SaneBox. I am a writer and easily distracted by shiny objects. With SaneBox I not only find my important email, I also do not even look at the unimportant email.  That saves me more than the time of sorting. It saves me the time of following useless and timeconsuming paths around my favorite internet sites.  My favorite stuff is on sale? My favorite blog has a new post? Someone across the world got in an argument with their spouse and it is on the news? I have to know these things now! Right? Some things it is better to just not know. Delete, delete, delete.

I've been a subscriber to Sanebox for years and there are a few features I like about it. First is that it filters out spam. Of course, many tools do that, so the next feature I use everyday is called "SaneLater". This allows me to put less important emails into a different email inbox. That way I don't lose them and I can look at them and possibly respond later. The final feature that is very cool is called the "SaneBlackHole". Perhaps you know that when you think you're unsubscribing to an email list you are actually just proving that you are a person who checks their email. The company may unsubscribe you, but your email address is being sold to other companies which will then approach you about subscribing to their service. To avoid this, I put emails into the "Black Hole" - I don't actually have to open the email and I will never receive another email from that sender again.

I have occasionally lost the connection between Sanebox and my Apple Mail, but support was quick to fix it. No other problems really. It just works.

If you need a tool that will filter through your email and show you only the most important emails first, then Sanebox is that tool. Well worth the subscription. Big time saver.

Not only do I foremost value the Sanebox feature of emailing a reminder, either in 1 minute or in 1 year, but I know my friends do to. I use that functionality at least two or three times a day, to remind myself to call someone, update a form or send a birthday or anniversary greeting. I find it saves me time to quickly jet off an email so in a calmer moment I can tend to details in my professional and personal lives.

I find the emails that say, "You saved x hours this week" to be a bit inaccurate, because no way do I read all those emails that arrive, from which they must calculate a time estimate. And occasionally the filter fritzes out and I have to "remind" the intelligence to funnel certain emails to a more logical box, but those wee annoyances are nothing compared to how Sanebox saves my sanity.

Within a few minutes, my inbox was already decluttering itself by filtering newsletters and non-essential emails elsewhere. **What do you like best about SaneBox?**

Sanebox is an easy way to filter email. I've been using it for a couple of years or longer and the messages I want and very little of the rubbish that I don't.  There are customizable functions which, frankly. I don't use currently.  I do however use "SaneLater" for messages I may not have time for immediately but could give some time to at a later date, I have used "Reminders" and found it useful. And of course, the BlackHole is fed regularly! Sanebox has saved me a hundred tedious hours over the last 12 months and I wouldn't be without it.

In my experience, there's not much to dislike about SaneBox.  It's easy and I do like easy!

Copying the reminders or snooze email addresses is a more cumbersome process than just hitting snooze in my gmail, so I never use those.

I love how this is a set it and forget it software. Its easy to set up, and its amazing at organizing your emails to keep all of those unwanted emails off of your radar, so you can focus on those that are the most important.  I also love Sanebox's support staff. They have gone above and beyond to help me with any issues that I have ever had, as well as to be understanding during the covid issue when it came to billing.  They put us first, instead of their bottom line, unlike a lot of companies that I have dealt with this past year.  For that reason alone, I will always be a life time user of their services and  company.

I currently have nothing to complain about with this service

I highly recommend this product, from your average home user, to a CEO of a major corporation. Email filtering and organization is gold these days.

It saves me so much time, and makes my life just that much easier. The program sorts emails based on your imput, and even has an archive function for those old emails that you have to keep, but hate having them clutter up your inbox. Sanebox does so much more than I use it for, but for me there is no better sorce to organize and filter all of your emails. If your a corporation, I highly recommend this for all of your employees. It will speed up production time since employees wont be spending time sorting through all of the junk we get everyday.

With sanebox, took me a few clicks and my inbox was almost clean! Now I can look at the less important emails once a week and I can focus just on what matters on my day to day. 
The digest is the best part, you can just take a 10 minutes look and you can bulk delete emails you don’t need

I just wish that the website ux was a little easier to use, and you could access your digest anytime you want, not just receive by email

It’s  easy to setup and you will never have to worry about it ever again, it just works.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox provides great value for money. It offers a variety of ways to manage your inbox, and while I don't use all of it's features, the ones I do use save me about 2-3 hours a week. It provides structure for my emails, and the other brilliant thing about it is that it just *works*.  It never has an outage, never screws up the trainings, and they also always come out with new features.  I'm really pleased with this product.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I often forget to check my other folders and sometimes miss important messages that have been put there.  This is totally my fault and not SaneBox's, but it does happen. 

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

It absolutely does what it says on the tin.  It would be great if they bought unroll.me or added some functionality to help me automatically group unsubscribe to a bunch of emails. 

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just decluttering the mind by virtue of decluttering the inbox, and 'filing' emails in their appropriate places. I don't use the advanced reminder functionality yet.

My Outlook inbox is much cleaner thanks to SaneBox.  My IT firm catches all of the really bad stuff and sends it to SPAM.  SaneBox makes sure that the possibly viable emails are parked in SaneLater for me to review.

I don't think this qualifies as a downside... I only use SaneLater and SaneBlackHole.  Perhaps I need to understand how the other boxes are valuable.

Getting time back in my day.  I know that SaneLater can be very valuable for keeping marketing emails that I want to continue seeing but, not in my primary inbox.  Once I "train" an email (the sender) to go to SaneBlackHole or SaneLater, I don't have to deal with it again - NICE.

THe automatic sorting of email into different folders such as sane black hole I find very helpful I usually scan the titles of those emails but there are at least 60-80 daily redirected allowing me to do a mass deletion.
I am freed up to use my computer to get actual work done rather than being bogged down by email.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Sanebox does require a couple of special folders in the email account so I need to be sure those are displayed in my mail client (Apple Mail.)

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

THe time it takes me to go through daily email has been cut by an hour or more daily. It is a great way to avoid being tempted by various marketing emails.

New email is better highlighted and sorted from unimportant email.

Very easy to use, Sanebox filters and organize all the emails the way that works best for me, i can select which email want in my inbox as soon they arrive and which i can check later and i can send

I love the reminders, where i send an email and want to have a reminder X days after, on an specific date and even in a specific time.. i can pospone emails to check them back next day or next week or any day i want, so the follow up becomes really easy

I recently moved from using an IMAP provider to Gmail and everything keeps working fine, no need to retrain anything

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I´m still struggling with some of the funcionality of Sanebox in Gmail, as Gmail is tag based vs folder based, however everything works fine at the end

It intelligently sorts my email into Inbox, Later, and Spam/Junk.  It is extremely accurate.  I have created additional smart folders and they work great too!  I can easily set emails to remind/ping/tweak me in a certain number of hours, days, weeks, or months.  Or to remind me every so many days or every so many months, or every year.  So flexible.  Like having an administrative assistant.  Ability to quickly unsubscribe from emails. Ability to send jumk spam to a black hole.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

On my mobile phone (iPhone) email, when I click on the box to stop reminding me on a recurring reminder, I get a prompt to reenter my 2-factor code.  Happens every few days.  Only takes a few seconds because I use a code generator, but that is the only thing I wish was better.  And having a higher limit of custom "snooze boxes."

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time-saving.  Inbox Zero--- I actually get to Inbox Zero at least once a month!

I love how SaneBox learns without much help from me at all. By just moving emails into the folder I want them to be in, the service knows where I want it to go the next time I get an email from them!

It is a bit expensive, especially with multiple accounts. But when you consider the time saved, it is worth it.

I have figured out how to pare my inbox down so that Inbox Zero is possible. It keeps me from losing emails into a jumble, and I never run into the issue of losing important messages from colleagues.

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox is very easy to set up and manage and it helps keep just the emails you really need to see inside your Inbox.    The other stuff can be reviewed later in other managed folders.  They provide default folders like @SaneBulk and @SaneLater (among others) that are smart about what to pull out of your inbox for later review.  You can fine-tune these types of folders by dragging some emails in and out to your inbox, for example, to "teach" where emails like that should go in the future.  But you can also add your own @Sane folders and make rules very easily that work for your own style of email management.  My two FAVORITE folders are the @SaneCC and the @SaneBlackHole folders.  The Black Hole folder is where you drag junk and spam emails you don't want to keep receiving without having to Unsubscribe (and thereby let the sender know you are a live address that they can sell).  The SaneCC folder takes any email I am CC'd on and puts it there for later review.  If I am not on the "To" line then it probably isn't a rush and will clutter my inbox.  And if there is a specific sender whose emails you DO want in your Inbox even if you are on CC, just teach SaneBox to leave put it in the Inbox by dragging it there.  Done.  You can also set SaneBox to remind you to follow up on emails you have sent which have not been replied to.  There's a lot more this system can do for you in terms of email sanity.  I really do love it.

I can't think of a real thing that I dislike.  I started using SaneBox several years ago and have never looked back.  Several other people in my organization also use it now.

**Recommendations to others considering SaneBox:**

Take the time to learn how the app works through their website.  That's where you set everything up.  Their support is also very responsive and helpful if you have any questions.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't fear my inbox at all now.  I know what is there is stuff that I really should be focusing on.  I can quickly and easily teach the system to manage email messages the way I need them to.  For example, all newsletters and sales promotion emails go to my @SaneNews folder and don't jam up my inbox.  I check it every few days because that is not time-sensitive stuff.  I can also unsubscribe by just dragging emails to the right folder.  And I LOVE that every email I am CC'd on is NOT in my Inbox anymore!  The CC line was designed by the Devil.

the ease of use. It requires nothing from me other than occasional correction when it mis-predicts and puts something where it doesnt belong (a relatvely rare occuranc).

I wish it would give me some finer controls for greenlighting domains and choosing what to do. Also, having features that mayb allowed me to have automatic followups for emails to various addresses or domains. Basically, more automation that I control for its secondary features (i.e not just email inbox cleaning)

Honestly it just makes my life simpler. The only real problem I use it for is a dirt inbox. It has great features for tracking emails for follow-up but I also just use that feature in my mail client (I would 100% use sanebox for this if my client didnt have it built in)

Sane Reminders make sure items that need follow-up come back into my inbox, saving me the time of keeping a separate to-do list. It's an incredible time-saver. The Sand Digest that brings me all my emails that aren't urgent at times I've selected helps me maintain my focus. It's an incredible business tool that I'm not sure how I ever managed without!
