## Sandler Reviews
  ### 1. You probably don't want to close more deals or make more money...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather E. | Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

After 13+ years in higher ed sales, it is easy to feel like you have seen and heard it all. Attending Sandler Training for 2 days was well worth my time away from the office. I honed the sales tactics that are already working for me. Even better, I stretched my brain learning concepts that actually reduce my stress and pressure I otherwise felt I needed to put on a prospect to get the intel I need in the sales process.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The exercises we did in groups were great ways to practice the new strategies and sales language we were being taught.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I really needed the work on reversing and negative reversing, so I wish (selfishly) that we could have spent more time on that and learned it starting on Day 1, in the afternoon.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

This is great training for those that have "been around the block". For those that are new, I suggest attending training once a year for a few years to really internalize the lessons.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been around sales for so long, it is easy for me to feel I can't learn anything new. I look forward to weaving in the steps I learned into my Discovery and Sales Presentations

  ### 2. Great training! Allow me to re-think and re-structure my sales process and make it more efficient!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler was hired to provide sales training for a HID sales team, that I was part of.

The aim was to help the team apply a formalised, efficient and furthermore a working sales process, that would help us improve and...win more sales!

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler trainers were always very well prepared and delivered great insights as well as sales tips and techniques.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

There weren't any Sandler sales modules, that I did not find useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

An all-round 5-Star Training Experience!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upfront Contracts are particularly useful in my daily sales calls and meetings. I also started using the Sandler Pain Funnel which helped me qualify a lot of previously unqualified opportunities.

  ### 3. Rapid7 training - Mike Myers - Sept 2020

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sales training

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Working sessions with small groups to apply learnings

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Beginning was a bit slow, but good to cover as a foundation

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

N/A

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pain funnel was really helpful. Negative reversing will take a bit to get used to

  ### 4. Excellent Sales Methodology & Training to Up-Level Your Skills!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan P. | Mid-Market Account Executive , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

My company hired Sandler Training to train all of our reps on a standard sales methodology so that we are all speaking the same language to our prospects and customers.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler Training is extremely engaging and easy to digest. Our trainer, Mike Myers, was upbeat, professional and knowledgeable and made the training an awesome experience. The tools that I learned in Sandler Training have up-leveled my sales skills ranging from better discovery to better objection handling and negotiation.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

To be honest, there isn't much that I didn't like about Sandler Training! My company is great at reinforcing it as well.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been in sales for years, however there are always certain aspects of sales skills that I was hoping to hone and improve. For example, I think most sales reps would agree that the "Discovery" phase in the sales process is the most challenging. Sandler gives you an awesome toolkit to understand the challenges customers are facing and even get 2nd and 3rd level pain which you can continue to leverage during the sales process. For our company, we now all speak the same language when it comes to setting agendas, objection handling, etc. which is a great experience for our prospects and customers.

  ### 5. Sales Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Manager and Coaching a sales team

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The structure and the flexibility of the process. There is no black and white answers to be successful. Sandler is a great sales tool for beginner and advance sales people. Having a defined sales process that everyone on your team can reference and refer to during challenging time. This is what separates successful companies from, them who want to be.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

No dislikes to report. No dislikes to report.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Every sales organization need to have a standard sales process to have repeatable success. Sandler is that process to take your organization to the next level.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a standard sales process that everyone can convey when challenges present themselves. In addition, we can walk through the process to determine where or when an individual sale broke down in the process. As well as gives us the ability to focus on areas that sales reps are having challenges with.

  ### 6. Tailored, professional approach built on actual experience. Indisputable results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg S. | Director of Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

I've worked with Matt Benelli at Sandler Training at each of my last two companies to to help me build and better equip my sales teams. Matt and his team are exceptional. They helped me address strengths & weaknesses of the folks on my team as well as myself. This allowed us to collaboratively build success plans for everyone one the team to sharpen their skill set, increase their effectiveness, and produce tangible results in both pipeline and revenue growth. They also helped improve Rep confidence levels - a tremendous byproduct of my partnership with Sandler. When I moved into my current role, Sandler Training was one of the first calls I made.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Two main things. 1 - The instructors and trainers have exceptional hands-on selling experience at other stops in their careers. Their resumes bring immediate credibility into the room - certainly not something all trainers can offer. 2 - The plan we put together for was highly customized for my company, my team, our message, our sales cycle, and our pro typical buyer. The folks at Sandler took the time to understand the maturity of my team, the market we were selling into, my company's persona and our overall goals. When you know that you're not being given the "one-size-fits-all" method, you're already better off than most!

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I wish we were able to meet more frequently. That's more of an issue with my company's allotted budget than it is Sandler, but I felt as though the online learning and library wasn't as effective as the in person sessions.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Get executive sponsorship and get them involved in the pre-training interview process. C level investment, care, and honesty will ensure this relationship is a success.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Rep Career Development, pipeline growth, revenue growth. We have positive check-marks for the three items listed, but something we also realized was employee loyalty. Our investment in them paid off in effort level increases, and tenure.

  ### 7. Great standard for team done by great energy folks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean O. | Regional Sales Manager - Commercial West, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We needed a unified sales message. The team was made up of anywhere between 6 months to 6 years closing experience reps, all throwing different messaging and strategies at a board with a higher miss than hit rate.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

We have all been in the sessions that knock you out. These guys are pros: from knowing the temperature in the room, when to take a break, to creating a competitive participation environment, this is the highest attention rate set of meetings we have had.
Work is well tailored. Veering out of the vague with their pre meeting research and large previous experience draws allows for a much more applicable set of scenarios and solutions

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

hard to pick dislikes here, honestly. If anything, we should have had more reestablishment sessions fast after the training. two very long days were followed by a few weeks, if not months, before reconnecting. that may be on us as an organization as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

simply put, this is not reinventing the wheel. just rotating the tires so the car is moving in the right, uniformed direction again. Great reinforcement for lax habits as well.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

standardizing a discovery call: benefit realized was there was no standard, just a wild west. We have now been able to build specific training around the frameworks, unifying a message more.
it has also helped me personally, as a new manager, work with my team. I have 10 reps, and this has allowed for a more consistent(still not perfect) forecast approach.

  ### 8. Revenue Performance Group and Matt Benelli - True Business Partners!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

At Cvent, we were looking for a training partner to augment our internal sales programs for sales managers and sales executives. For both training engagements, we conducted a very thorough and competitive selection process and for each engagement chose Matt Benelli as our training partner.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

From our selection process to training discovery and design to training facilitation, Matt is an extraordinary business partner and sale expert. Because of Matt's success as a sales leader, he brings a wealth of experience, stories, and practical techniques to the classroom. He interacted with the class by challenging their status quo, guiding them through alternative ways to interact as sales managers and sales executives, and inspiring them to set bigger and bolder goals.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

The only change to the training solution would be increased focus on reinforcement cadence, approach, and manager coaching guides.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing focus on sales management techniques to drive motivation and accountability. Through the sales management workshop, sales managers developed a greater awareness of their own leadership behaviors, developed common techniques for coaching, motivating, and holding their reps accountable. These changes in behavior have resulted in a stronger coaching culture for reps and AMs.

  ### 9. The only choice for sales training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia S. | Senior Consultant, Management Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We hired Sandler Training to design and implement a high-touch, ongoing sales training program for our Commercial Banking and Treasury teams.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

We, like most organizations, had a lot on our plates and knew that we didn't have the capacity to design and implement a custom sales programming. And certainly not one with the robust, high-quality content included with Sandler. I appreciate that Sandler was able to come-in, learn our organization, and roll-out an impactful, high-touch, 2-year plan that will push our bankers and hold us all accountable to working the program. They worked with us to schedule all of our monthly webinars and quarterly instructor led trainings 16 months out so that our teams could plan accordingly and clearly understand our commitment to this program.

We have two trainers assigned to our teams and they are both exceptional. Great energy and delivery of the content.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

We are just a few months in and haven't found anything to dislike yet!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The partnership with Sandler Corporate has allowed us to roll out this training with confidence that we will be able to stick to it.

  ### 10. A Methodological / Standardized Approach to Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John N. | Vice President of Training & Support, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler was brought in to assist in standardizing the Sales Process of over 300 franchisees spanning the North American Market (and soon International as well). The problem we faced was a lack of consistent approaches, rebuttals, and methodologies that a franchise could use and implement in any sales situation.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler approached our organization in an incredibly professional manner, immersed themselves in our culture to truly understand who "we" were, to tailor the best solution for our needs. Additionally, they have a significant amount of reinforcement content which is accessible via their LMS that is incredibly helpful to the organization.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Sandler's approach transcends industries, and from this, they have to customize quite a bit or else the students may feel that it is too generic. The only dislike I have identified is that there is not clarification or some sort of want to address this during a camp or in some other manner. Following each camp, I address this and it usually gives individuals an "ah-ha" moment.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Be prepared to manage the outcome of success within your organization and create internal framework surrounding the reinforcement training via the LMS.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A Standardized Sales approach, goal setting, time management, success management, client retention. The benefits of success and success planning were an "unknown outcome" of this. Essentially, with the successes of growth, how to maintain and scale to keep up with the pace you have set for yourself.

  ### 11. Non-traditional sales training that works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert R. | Professional Clothier, Apparel & Fashion, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler Training has helped me sale more without using sneaky, manipulative traditional closing techniques. I can now help my prospect or client buy what they want and there's no buyer's remorse.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I enjoy the Sandler Training philosophy of "reinforcement training." Learning doesn't usually take place overnight. Through weekly classes I've been able to integrate what I'm learning and use what I've learned more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Some people might resist the idea of reinforcement training because it involves an investment of time. It's a natural reaction. What I've come to realize is that the weekly Sandler classes are like a gym where I go to build and exercise my selling muscles.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Attend a class and speak to the trainers.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sandler Training has helped me get to 'yes' and to 'no' quicker in the selling process. It's helped me to reduce the tension I normally felt on a sales appointment and increase my confidence. I'm committed to the sale, but I'm not attached to the sale.

  ### 12. Knowing, to owning.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Leasing Agent, Real Estate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

I hired Sandler to help my overall sales approach. I always thought I “knew” how to sell someone, but I later found I never had a true system in place. Sandler has taught me a system that allows the salesperson to remain in control and lead the “buyer-seller dance.” My goals hiring Sandler were to increase my closing ratio by 10%+, become the highest producer on my team, and truly learn the psychology behind why people buy and make decisions. Those were just a few of the many goals I have accomplished working with the Sandler organization.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The most helpful part of Sandler is the reinforcement aspect of their training. Sandler is big on consistent in-person training, as opposed to 1 or 2-day boot camps. They are firm believers that short term training, is only good for one thing - short term results! If you want long term success in sales, one must have consistent, repetitive hands-on training to keep you on the road to success.

What I like best is that Sandler takes the traditional methods of selling (badgering people with features and benefits to try and convince them what is best for them), and replaces it with a Doctor like approach to diagnose people’s situations, and help them “self discover” if and how you might help them. Sandler teaches you to maximize opportunities with questioning strategies that build credibility and surface pain points, that result in more conversation control.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

There isn’t much, if anything at all, I dislike about the organization. However, if I had to pick one thing, I would say to get stricter on accountability. What I mean is to hold higher standards for your clients to perform. Everyone thrives off of competition, so if people are not only learning to master the art of sales, but in essence “selling against their classmates” on who is truly utilizing the techniques, it can be documented, tracked and graded. This will create a little friendly competition, but also help the Sandler organization recognize top performers across several different industries. Rewards can be given in the form discounted memberships for a specific term of a client’s contact, and/or discount if they are able to refer a friend/colleague to join Sandler, thus generating more business for their organization as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Science says people remember 20% of what you tell them. 30% of what they hear. But 90% of what they say and do. If you don’t try it for yourself or your team, you never really know what opportunities are being missed.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sandler has really helped rid the head trash that comes with sales. It really helped me learn to separate my emotions from any sales interaction and firmly believe that I am “financially independent and don’t need the business.” This has thus significantly helped my confidence and allows me to have more conviction when I speak with a prospect. Thus resulting in more closed deals.

  ### 13. Sandler training has elevated my professional and personal life.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2020

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler supported my ability to communicate effectively, prioritize my responsibilities and more clearly see how my attitude, behaviors and techniques work equally to lead to success.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

How it allows me to have equal business stature with my clients and prospects and it has made me a much better listener.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I would like to see reinforcement training for sandler ambassadors.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Ensure you have senior leadership buy-in and support. Look to Sandler to coach influential members of your team to have ongoing conversation with senior leaders to ensure they feel an ROI, or whatever it is they need to "feel good".

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating a common language that is building confidence and camaraderie within the organization.

  ### 14. Senior Manager, Corporate Sales

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe Z. | Senior Manager, Commercial Sales , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We leveraged Sandler for sales training with a primary focus on the sales process, and an overall change in behavior and mentality around equal business standing. We really focused on key techniques such as up front contacts, firm future commitments, reversing, negative reversing, etc. We've also leveraged them for negotiation training.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler on the surface is easy to implement because the key concepts and techniques are very direct and straightforward. It's not overly complex and because of this, the methodology is very repeatable and can be leveraged in everyday life, and not just sales.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I haven't seen any downside to using Sandler.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Sandler can cover so much in regards to the entire sales process. Make sure you really understand and identify where your gaps are for that initial session to ensure you build a good foundation.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales process is more consistent, and has a lot more structure, we're not chasing down as many prospects that don't want to be chased, we're disqualifying faster, we're getting to the truth and hidden objections a lot faster, and we're much more confident because of it.

  ### 15. Immediate Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy P. | Manager, Customer Retention and Growth, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We worked with Matt and Colum to provide a two-day Sandler workshop to our Inside Sales Team. We've also done multiple reinforcement sessions with Matt. They provided Sandler Training to reps with varying levels of experience and exposure to sales methodologies.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I really like that I have a common language with my team. We've fully adopted the Sandler Methodology and practice it constantly. Having a standard methodology across the sales floor has been extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

This is my third time going through Sandler and I have absolutely no complaints. I've learned new things every time.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Bring them in as soon as possible. Reinforcement is key!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us identify, qualify and disqualify, progress, and accurately forecast deals. I've seen my team become unafraid to navigate complex conversations with prospects. I've seen a more accurate pipeline because reps are disqualifying deals and understanding that there is no sale without pain.

  ### 16. My entire organization is 100% more confident and aware of how to construct and drive a sales cycle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim M. | Vice President of Worldwide Commercial Sales, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

I brought Sandler in to get 80 sales professionals speaking the same language and thinking about how to win with a common language and framework. Our sales process is now powered by Sandler and that means that everyone understands what they need to do at every stage of the sales process to ensure we have a true understanding of where things are at and whether we should compete.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The methodology is has given every single rep and manager the confidence to operate in a way where they are in control yet the prospect or customer always perceives that they are. Sandler has instilled a level of confidence to be disarmingly honest and open which puts the prospect at ease and allows us to get to the truth. This in fact may be the hardest thing to do for every sales professional.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Nothing, I have brought Sandler into my last 3 companies and the results have been positive in each case. I am a believer and once you use and internalize the methodology, it becomes the most valuable asset you have in sales. I am now in the process of buying Sandler Playmaker (application which sits on sf.com) to ensure that reps are constantly reminded on what they need to do at each stage of the process which feeds right into our database. The result is better, cleaner data and we are now making the process of interacting with sf.com meaningful..

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Choose the right team as the presenters mean everything to the success that you may have.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have awoken my entire global sale org so that they now have the tools and confidence to maintain control and ensure that each interaction is optimized. Sandler is a framework and mindset that has given even my best reps the ability to know how to guide the process and always get the information we need to progress a deal to the next stage. There is nothing better than Sandler and I have tried a lot of different methodologies.

  ### 17. Sandler Training has worked wonders!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean L. | Regional Sales Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We did a full session back in the middle of 2019 (foundation workshop) we we had a healthy mix of sales experience in the room. We had a couple people who were still in college to professionals who have been selling for years. Since then 2 have done 2 reinforcement workshops with another on the way here shortly.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I really liked how it has actually put the sales cycle into a process. All the reps have the Sandler Submarine hanging in their cubes as a visual for when they are on calls. It's a constant reminder of when you are on calls with prospects of where you need to focus on.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I really can't say that I "dislike" anything. I really think the experience so far for the sales team has been valuable in so many different ways.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That real deals aren't fragile!! It has given us the ability to ask tougher questions where we may have backed down a bit in the past. Also the negotiation reinforcement has taught us that this is an art and it needs to be practiced on a regular basis.

  ### 18. Sales Training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle S. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler has helped my organization/team with 3 major areas:
1) Foundational Sales Skills ( setting up front contracts, identifying pain, objection handling, and setting next steps ).
2) How to reinforce those fundamental skills through coaching and ongoing practice
3) Coaching Sales Team - from management's perspective

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I really enjoyed the management reinforcement session. There were some helpful reminders on how to balance workloads and empower reps to participate and engage more in 1:1s and team meetings.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Nothing. I think the frameworks leave a lot of flexibility to personalize the methodology and make it feel authentic.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

This is a great investment in yourself and your team. If you pursue Sandler Training be clear with your team on how much they will get out of it if they are willing to put the work into honing their craft.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My sales team is getting to *no* faster, holding firm on getting next steps, and winning deals faster.

  ### 19. Improved my career

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica M. | Sales Manager , Northeast, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Our company has been engaged with Sandler Training for almost 20 years. Every salesperson is immersed in the methodology completely.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I used other techniques earlier in my career with some success, but I didn't really flourish until I was exposed to Sandler. It really spoke to me and the way my selling process worked, and it allowed me to significantly advance my career.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I cannot think of anything right now - my experiences have been so positive.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

The techniques are simple and easy to implement. Some, like Reversing and Negative Reversing, I'm able to practice on my children. It's improved both my sales AND my parenting!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I realized that although I was focused on solving problems, I wasn't fully understanding their pain or what it cost them. By learning how to identify and quantify the pain, I was able to close significantly more deals.

  ### 20. Best & most effective sales training I've done in the last 30 years.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Managing Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Improve sales skills and become true experts in selling, more importantly being able to quantify the net benefit of working with Sandler (30% sales growth in year 1)

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I love the upfront contract which is very helpful to disqualify prospects that are not a good fit and/or who will never buy from you quickly.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I don't see any downsides to Sandler, other than to realise the benefits you need to take the time to learn their methodology to start with and actually put what you learn into practice.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Doing sales training in one-off blocks for a few days at a time doesn't work, ongoing reinforcement is critical and Sandlers methodology works. Do it, put the effort in to master their methodology and you will reap the rewards.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It will change your way of doing business, you will save time with some prospect by disqualifying them early enough in the process.

To date, we are seeing a 30% increase in sales, in year 1.

  ### 21. Doubled Sales in One Year after Implementing Sandler

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter C. | Vice President of Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We started on the Discovery Call Process. We took what was a disjointed discovery call and standardized on a process. This has allowed our sales team to work together to help each other on their deals.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I like how Sandler has a process that works. It is a strict regimen that has helped our sales team elevate themselves to consultants. We also spend far less time working on deals that will go nowhere.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

The entire Sandler experience has been positive.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

I would highly recommend Carrie Lauby as a Sandler trainer. She has been superb and a key reason why our sales have doubled.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales time now has a unified sales process, rather than everyone doing it their own way. Our sales have more than doubled in the past year. One of the main reasons for our sales doubling is the Sandler Training.

  ### 22. 2nd Year of Annual Sandler Training - Valuable Investment!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew K. | VP of Worldwide Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We hired Sandler to bring consistency, perspective, and applicable tactics to our daily sales approach in both Inside Sales and Customer Success.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The best part of Sandler is our lead trainer Mike Myers and the solid foundation of the Sandler Training approach. Its a sensible, tactical approach led by an incredible teacher.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

None that I can discern. I wish we can free up more budget to have a bit more periodic 'touch up' sessions throughout the year.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

If you want a tailored, contextual training experience that truly teaches technique and approach versus 'hard' sales tactics, give Sandler a call.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the variable techniques, strategies, and messaging that are deployed by our personnel on a call by call basis. We expect to realize more effective and efficient use of each rep's time which will ultimately result in more quality touchpoints with prospects and better close rates.

  ### 23. Sandler Bronze Certification Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bart D. | Director - Global Sales Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We hired Sandler to train our Enterprise sales reps on intermediate and advanced selling techniques.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The systematic approach which lets you know exactly where you are in the selling process. The Sandler method helps you overcome obstacles before they become major impediments. The use of role playing is very helpful in learning the various techniques used in the selling process.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I have completed the bronze certification and I'm now starting on the silver certification. Because they teach an entire process, it is difficult to pull out any one part that isn't necessary or that I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Sandler should be a strong contender if you are considering Sales training. Several of our sales leaders and many of our sales reps have had Sandler training in the past. We went with Sandler partly because of the recommendations of our sales organization.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that we are solving with Sandler Training are the avoidance of obstacles when it comes time to close the deal and to decrease the time it takes to close a deal. Also, we are trying to solve the problem of our sales reps and system engineers trying to pitch a solution before they truly understand the root cause of our customer's problem or the customer's "pain". The benefits we are seeing is a more methodical approach to closing deals. Additionally because the Sandler method teaches to sell using a conversational method, the process seems more natural.

  ### 24. Many years of exposure to Sandler and key value is having a "process" and system to follow.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alistair M. | VP, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Have used multiple times but currently in Bronze Certification program with North American team. Creating a consistent sales process for the bit the sales and extended support team including R&D, technical and Business Development.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The trainers are well versed, training materials are excellent and continued reinforcement and coaching enable all students to learn in their own time. Creates a consistent platform and leads to very different, deeper customer interaction.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

No downsides to using the system but takes commitment to work through all content while doing a "day job". The upside is worth it though.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Up Front contract has become key and we have moved away from free consulting by uncovering pain and not always talking Features, Advantages and Benefits. We have more structure and discipline to our selling activities and brainstorm key meetings ahead of time so our approach is much more planned.

  ### 25. Foundations to Selling Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

I took the Sandler Bootcamp to learn more about the Sandler method and their process for winning deals. They taught me the steps to a truly professional selling process and helped me better understand why my prospects would want a meeting, and how to get the right people to understand what you have to offer.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I loved the content of the bootcamp, and the Sandler method has some fantastic tools for preventing needy, pushy selling. The pendulum theory of never being more excited about the opportunity than your prospect will stick with me through the rest of my selling career.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

There were some scripts and talk-tracks that, if used word for word in a process, would come across as old fashioned or overly wordy/scripted.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Look into your options, it will be cheaper across a team than for an individual. However, I took it as an individual and can't wait to out-perform my fellow salespeople as a result!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't had quite enough time with the Sandler method to realize many benefits in my closed deals, but I'm SO excited to use their method in my process. I have been missing key steps for quite a while now, and I now know what to add in and how to use it.

  ### 26. I have used and taught Sandler sales techniques for over 20 years and it has proven the test of time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lissa V. | SVP Sales Strategy & Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We have trained numerous sales teams in the Sandler methodology over the years. The goals are always basically the same: increase effectiveness, decrease sales cycles, create equal business stature with the prospect and never come across as a pushy sales person.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Because Sandler is founded in psychology, it helps sales professionals learn how to truly understand their clients and prospects and then craft solutions very specific to the client's needs.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Can't really say there is anything I dislike about Sandler. However, if you are an organization who is not committed to the reinforcement then save your money. This is about changing behaviors. That doesn't happen over night.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

If you truly care about delivering solutions to your customers, equip your team to ask good, tough questions, listen well and then match your solutions to their needs, then Sandler can help them do that. Sales in an honorable profession....Sandler helps people execute it in a way that is respectful to both parties.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are helping our sales team stay focused on the client rather than our offering. As a result we are able to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace and secure more opportunities. We've also seen in increase in our ability to stand our ground on price and truly form business partnerships rather than be seen as a 'vendor'.

  ### 27. Phenomenal training that is sure to get our sales team to the next level.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake J. | Cyber Security Risk | Account Executive | Technical Consultant, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

From discovery to close, the Sandler methodology teaches not only technique, but the attitude needed to drive professional conversations.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

It covers all steps of the sales process with very clear, effective messaging and strategy.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

There was nothing that I could say that I disliked about this training.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage a sales team and all of them have adopted the Sandler submarine as the next step philosophy in their sales processes. I've also seen a rise in their confidence, which is another key portion of the Sandler training. "Sense it Say it" and having and assuring you are on the same level with your prospect has made my reps think that their time is as valuable as anyone else.

  ### 28. Area President

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike D. | Area President, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Business Development - the entire process, from prospecting to closing.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The approach - this isn't a 'show up and start talking' sales approach, but a deep dive to determine if your product is the right fit for the customer.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

The fact that I continue to make mistakes!
all joking aside, I know I will always make mistakes, so it's a good reminder to stay alert and always listen. The concepts are logical and make sense to me, so I really don't have an area I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Take the step, the investment will pay back many times over.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing in new business.

  ### 29. Sandler Training for Sales Leadership Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler has helped train our entire sales force of SDRs, AEs, and account managers. We have recently asked Sandler to help train our managers too. This includes helping reinforce Sandler methodology across their teams and help new managers become effective leaders. This includes helping them manage their own time, leverage resources and develop their people.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Our training specialist was Matt Benelli who comes with a wealth of real business and practical experience. He is able to relate to situations that Managers encounter and give practical advice and recommendations for how managers can improve and help their people.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

As a sales leader my biggest concern is how managers are able to apply and consistently reinforce the training they receive.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

I would recommend speaking with Matt Benelli. He has extensive experience in Sales Leadership roles, is a great communicator and is able to customize a training to our specific needs.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are showing that we are making an investment in our people. I have seen our AE's leverage Sandler techniques in sales cycles and sharing best practices.

  ### 30. Worth the investment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim D. | Northeast Division Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler sales training has helped my team in all facets of their business. From prospecting to closing, this training is the most complete and dynamic system I've ever seen.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler helps eliminate wasted time as it focuses your activities to moving to the next step. It also helps diagnose where the process is "stuck", so that corrective actions can be taken.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I found all of the exercises and strategies shown to have value.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Don't hesitate...it's well worth the investment!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has helped me diagnose my own sales team by showing where their strength and weaknesses lie to better coach and assist them to be successful.

  ### 31. Very useful training and quick ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia M. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We worked with Matt Benelli from Sandler to go through deal review methodology and strategies for identifying signs of opportunity health

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Matt adapted to the experience level of each individual and was able to succinctly provide value to each team member uniquely

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

There truly was no negative feedback from the my team. Each person felt that the value they received was worth the time commitment.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to identify gaps in discovery and have been given the tools to work through higher quality deal reviews, ultimately impacting our ability to forecast accurately and secure more revenue.

  ### 32. VP Sales Operations and Planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

I wanted a uniform Sales methodology that could be applied to our global Sales team that would enable our Sales team to understand and apply best practices in selling a complex SaaS product to both simple and sophisticated prospects.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler is a tried & true, proven Sales methodology. The Sandler team directed me to Matt Benelli who has a proven background in running Sales teams at technical SaaS companies like ours, it was great to have his background experience and expertise in driving home each principle using credible and relevant examples

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

The Sandler methodology has been great and typically addresses solutions to our sales approach, however, there's not a perfect correlation with our specific Sales process so there are times when principles are not applicable to our Sales engagements.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

If a Sales team has not adopted a specific sales methodology, I recommend Sandler as a proven, tried-and-true solution to establish discipline for their team. Those teams that embrace and apply Sandler principles will see positive results in their sales performance and ultimately an increase in their top line growth.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want the entire Sales team to have a consistent, proven methodology that can be uniformly adopted by experienced Sellers to new SDRs engaging with prospects for the first time. For those Sellers that have adopted Sandler into their sales approach, I have seen pipeline valuations increase while weeding out the non-value (tire kickers) at the same time. It's a win-win. My Sellers have a game plan and understand the roadmap of walking someone through a positive experience from prospect to customer.

  ### 33. Great interactive, high energy training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Our company worked with Sandler to provide a two day training for our sales and Customer Success teams to be able to better sell to and serve our clients

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Our trainer, Mike, has a wealth of experience and was able to tailor the content and conversations to really suit our unique business proposition. He was available to review real life scenarios and give our team tangible practice

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

It's hard to find anything I dislike! We did do a workshop on goal setting, and we could have probably cut the personal goal-setting (i.e. lose 5 lbs, read 3 more books per month) out.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sandler helped us pivot our thinking to a more proactive, consultative org.

  ### 34. Sandler uses techniques rooted in psychology that can transform any seller who wants to learn.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler Training worked with many groups within my organization, including Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Solutions Engineering. They taught our team a repeatable framework for how to approach the sales cycle from end to end. (Prospecting to Post Sales / Fulfillment).

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I cannot say enough good things about Mike Myers. He is an incredibly talented sales trainer and can also walk the walk. So many sales trainers that I've met have never sold. Mike is a masterful seller and just fun to be around. He's energetic, hilarious, and captures the audience immediately. He's been a mentor to me and I appreciate all that he's taught me over the years.

Outside of Mike, I love how Psychology concepts are incorporated into the methodology. One of the most useful things I learned in Sandler is the negative reverse. If a customer objects to anything, instead of trying to defend your position, you go *more* negative than them. This neutralizes them -- even if they don't change their mind, you generally get to the truth.

Sandler also taught me the "reverse" for handling objections. The idea is simple - don't make assumptions about what a question means, Instead of jumping straight to an answer.

This methodology works with whatever sales process you have. It's not an either / or. It is a framework that will help your reps execute on the steps of your sales process more effectively. Sales Process is WHAT to do (e.g., discovery call, then demo, then POC). Sales Methodology is HOW you do it (Sandler).

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Some of the techniques you learn in Sandler are very nuanced and require a lot of practice. I've seen people bomb certain parts of it and never try again because they think it doesn't work. It works, they just need to fail a bunch. Make sure you create an environment where your reps have the ability to practice and fail a lot.

I highly recommend, if possible, getting support from the top of the chain of the sales leadership team at your organization so that everybody is on the same mission. Otherwise, the use of the methodology can become fragmented and under utilized. It won't work if you don't do it!

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

I highly recommend, if possible, getting support from the top of the chain of the sales leadership team at your organization so that everybody is on the same mission. Otherwise, the use of the methodology can become fragmented and under utilized. It won't work if you don't do it!

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sandler has helped me teach my new sellers a framework for how to sell. It helps me make sure people have a strong grasp on the basics. Doing the fundamentals really well consistently will get you about 80% there.

Sandler also taught me some of the basics for how to be a sales manager. How to structure 1x1s, dig in to deals, and assist on calls, etc... Great for first time managers.

  ### 35. Sales Manager at Carta

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angus K. | Sales Manager, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Negotiation, pricing discussions, moving deals forward by building timelines

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Matt Benelli's Sandler training gave my team practical tools to handle negotiation and pricing discussions, which our sales organization needs help with as we pivot to higher contract values and fewer discounts. In addition the training was a well rounded course and Matt was able to easily change focus as needed and was good at keeping the team engaged.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Like other sales training courses, ensuring good habits are implemented is the biggest challenge.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building reps' confidence in having pricing conversations, defending the value of the solution and negotiating to a close.

  ### 36. Sandler help my understand to only sell to pain and nothing else

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayla M. | Account Executive, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler helped me understand when to recognize a "think it over" means no or that I missed something. It's helped me disqualify leads faster.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Sandler is helping me shorten the chase and be in control of the conversation.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I would have like to learn more about how to adapt this to longer sales cycles, with my current role the sales cycle is transactional so the Sandler training was focused that and shortened the Budget Step.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to find the true pain of a business and how I can help eliminate that. I have realized people are much more open to talking when you just ask them questions.

  ### 37. Dir of Sales Enablement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Basic Sales Process Training. We needed to provide 101 training for a very inexperienced and young sales team. They needed to understand how to manage a meeting, a sales cycle and clients.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

honestly all of it. However, the UFC was very useful. Having a good understanding and a sales methodology was critical to our success.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Like all training, it's difficult to have sustained use. No dislikes in the actual content itself

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

Use Carlos Garrida. He is very personable and makes the training entertaining. Important, continue ongoing certification of usage.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say the greatest benefit is having the reps follow a process and be much more organized in managing and controlling meetings.

  ### 38. VP Sales

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

It was time to "sharpen the knife" and there was only one way to go and that was Sandler. We went through the 2 day course and we all found it to be extremely valuable.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The course material and the foundation of Sandler just make good sense. The facilitator, Mike Myers was excellent.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I dont think there was any area that we disliked. The methodology will take time to master, but that is on us.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

I would highly recommend Sandler. I have taken MANY sales courses and this is by far the best.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to increase our sales acumen and our ability to execute. Sander's sales techniques, when applied, will certainly help us get there.

  ### 39. A Welcome Sales Refresher

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

They helped the sales team reframe their delivery and help them achieve better conversations with prospective customers.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The Hot List
tailored training techniques specific to our business/industry
Role Play
Open format to speak freely with instructor

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I didn't have much that I disliked. The program speaks for itself in the sense that it's about how you adopt the tools presented and if you have the willingness to do something different to achieve different results. I was personally very satisfied by the training.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that we have is the way the platform is presented to customers we lead with wrong terminology and it sets incorrect expectations as a result. By going through this training and getting a more intimate opportunity to talk with my team members we are able to switch up the narrative and approach things from a sense of value versus price.

  ### 40. Ruby Group

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

I was brand new to sales and was thrown into a position with no training. I started working with The Ruby Group of Sandler Training and was the only person of my hiring group to make it. Without a doubt I would have never made it without Mike Jones and the Ruby Group.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

They practice what they preach and teach what they use in their own businesses. They are not shy to tell you what doesn't work, at least for them, either. And Mike Jones will always make time for anyone, client or not.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Nothing comes to mind as I have had positive results with the Ruby Group.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing a sales technique and process.

  ### 41. Amazing training, very insightful and totally relevant for the competitive landscape

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Training Inside Sales/SDR's & Sales Management

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Instructors were very engaging and the whole session was very interactive and entertaining. Tons of key take-aways that we could implement right away.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I wish it could have been longer! Because it was only 2 days, we had to keep moving through parts that might have been helpful if we would have had more time.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

If you can have them tailor the training to your environment, that is even more impactful.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removing obstacles for customers to buy, maintaining control of the sales call, overcoming their objections, creating better value propositions and creating natural urgency.

  ### 42. Best learning experience ever

Become an expert in selling

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I love the upfront contract which is very helpful to disqualify the prospect quick enough.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

it has to be adapted to the renewal sales environment.

**Recommendations to others considering Sandler:**

It will change your way of doing business, you will save time with some prospect by disqualifying them early enough in the process.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

you gain a huge amount of time when disqualifying at the very early stage, no waste of time, you get to position yourself at the equal business stature, so no pushy salesperson, no free consultant... it is a mutual agreement to move on forward and stay behind the Pendulum.

  ### 43. Sandler is the Arrow to My Quiver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler training was delivered to a subset of Inside Sales Representatives within my organization in efforts to build stronger foundational sales skills across our inside sales team.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I appreciated the personal use cases, anecdotes, and client success stories to help make the teachings more legitimate and easily digestible.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I often fell the Sandler framework was too robotic and scripted, where I think it would have been helpful to do more role playing exercises and hear additional personal anecdotes/case studies from the instructor.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem's that I was facing prior to Sandler training were objection handling, digging deeper for pain's of clients, and cold prospecting/outreach. Sandler's framework, as well as additional tips and tricks helped to make difficult difficult sales processes, into a tactical game of chess.

  ### 44. Sandler tranformed our organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We hired Sandler (Dave Hiatt) to provide a fundamental methodology and language for our sales team.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Connection. We simply connected with the methodology and with our consultant (Dave Hiatt). You have to make any system your own for it to work, and Sandler and Dave were the perfect mix of existing process and flexibility for customization.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

It's not cheap :) The ROI is ultimately huge, it's just a leap of faith that the investment will pay off.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Common process, strategy, and tactics were missing. It's part of us now. Benefits have been significant sales growth and an ongoing sales process that is how we go to business.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The Sandler team are just as invested in our success as we are.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Nothing so far......

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a global sales force with team members at varying stages of their career paths in diverse markets. With Sandler's input and guidance we believe that we have developed a training program that will help our team members be more successful regardless of their experience or market. We're early in the roll-out process, but initial feedback is positive.

  ### 46. Exceeded Expectations

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler Manager Training.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

Matt Benelli does a good keeping the group engaged and adds good color with personal stories.

Sandler techniques & processes are digestible, easy to implement, and they work.

It's nice how Matt says to add pieces of Sandler techniques we think could be helpful in our day. By no means does he insist his way is the best way.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

Getting sidetracked and spending too much time talking about personal stories instead of focusing on getting through the content.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a systematic way to sell and manage. Helps add structure to 1:1s, team meetings, and sales calls.

Now have a consistent way to coach and give feedback.

  ### 47. Sandler Ambassador!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We are now at a place where Sandler has enabled myself and a few of the other Sales onboarding members with Ambasssador status.

Being a part of that program has given me the ability to train new hires on the keys points of Sandler and make it relatable to their environment/product.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

The Upfront Contract is one of my favorite tactics to use and will forever be impactful at our organization!

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I think as we are a Global company, as many are, finding the tweaks to training for counterparts in EMEA or APJ can be challenging due to the way they conduct business in those regions.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qualifying/quantifying pain is a benefit that has continued to move prospects along the deal cycle!

  ### 48. Good ideas and helpful refreshers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler lead a manager training session to help better our leadership skills.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

There were new ways to think about some tried and true ideas. For example we all hold team meetings, but are they actually useful to the team... every time. The training/Matt also encouraged great group discussions so that we could grab best practices from our peers.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

I thought the training was useful for what we were doing.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Sandler training will help to make my interactions with my team (for 1:1s, small groups, large groups, etc) better, more efficient, and more streamlined.

  ### 49. Really great insight and material

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

Sandler Manager Training

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

It reinforced some of the things I was already putting in place with my team, but also gave me some new ideas and changes to make to really be an effective manager.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

It was hard to focus after a certain amount of time. More breaks would've been helpful.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having more effective team meetings.

  ### 50. Training Program Manager

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2019

**Describe the project or task Sandler helped with:**

We have Sandler helping us with complete Sales training for our organization.

**What do you like best about Sandler?**

I really enjoy that Sandler has an entire team dedicated to helping our classes run smooth and are effective.

**What do you dislike about Sandler?**

The one issue we have had with Sandler is consistency with the program their people deliver. They all cover the same topics but would them to cover them for the same amount of time across the board.

**What problems is Sandler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a commoditized market and Sandler is helping our sales organization to work directly with owners.
