The most recent thing was the Samsara mobile phone, but that has since been updated and is a lot more useful. A big concern for us was also the ability to retrieve footage. If it could have more battery life to retrieve footage at any time instead of just the thirty-hour recording period, that would be a big thing for us as well. The ability to see the real time location, drive path, and details for each driver is absolutely essential for our business. Sometimes the key functions are nested within other areas that are non-intuitive. As a somewhat new user, I really wish I could just search a list of all the functions. Yes, there is a search bar, but I wish that there was a long list somewhere of all the functions and operations listed alphabetically. I would love for that list to have a short description of each function, how it is intended to work, and where it is located in the logical menu flow. Sometimes, the design and layout just do not match our use case or my personal thought process, so finding that one specific command, even when I know what its called, can be difficult. Samsara remains one of, if not the best, tracking companies for monitoring and gathering evidence in all kinds of circumstances, from the moment you want to view the dashcam to the event history or actuator application. Every movement is recorded. The integration with third-party software is also a plus, as anyone can do it. From my point of view, it offers so much information that it becomes difficult to present it all.
