Customer service could be improved. They have multiple departments that handle different topics, which causes delays in resolving issues. For example - billing support & renewals are handled by different teams. It would be nice if our rep could handle everything directly instead of being passed off to different people each time. They put several services in BETA testing and give the carrier access to these products. When it comes out of BETA they start charging the carriers. It feels like they are starting to Nickel and dime the carriers. I feel if i'm paying the yearly dues this should be all included. I am currently looking for a replacement. I like how easy it is to use Samsara. It is very convenient to see where my vehicles are out in the field to assist my team on projects. I can easily check to see if people are working near eachother or have them stop and grab materials for me while out in the field. I use it every day and it makes my job easier. I tend to use the knife hand when i'm talking hands-free, Samsara picks up my gestures as mobile usage. It constantly flags my driver's for following distance when there is clearly plenty of distance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program is clean, modern, and efficient to use. We have been using Samsara since 2017 and all of our drivers enjoy using it. DOT inspectors are familiar with it, and they have also commented to me that they love it when they encounter Samsara because they know exactly how to access what they want.
