SAM (Site Authoring and Maintenance) web content management system was created by and for communications professionals to put your website back in the hands of your marketing team. SAM is purpose-built for managing web pages, not posts. Donovan Buck, VP of Software Engineering, began leading the development of SAM in the early 2000s when he noticed the need for a CMS that marketers could actually use. The goal was to create an easy to use, robust, and reliable platform for large, corporate clients with complex requirements. Built by marketers for marketers, SAM's true WYSIWYG editor provides an intuitive experience. SAM allows marketers to update web content without the headache. **What do you like best about SAM?**

SAM is easy to use. It uses a true WYSIWYG editor that allows me to make edits without the need for involving development teams. It's also not bulky like other CMSs that have tons of features that I never use.

**What do you dislike about SAM?**

The aesthetics of interface could use a facelift but fortunately, that doesn't get in the way of its usability or functionality.

**What problems is SAM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have incredibly user-friendly web content management. The benefits are that updating the site doesn't take up huge chunks of my day.
