Creating and downloading reports as well as making item lists is easy. I can get digital assets in a variety of bucket ways, and send content downstream to my final endpoint pretty straightforward as well. **What do you dislike about Salsify PXM?** Sometimes when importing files or uploading data, the system is slow or lagging because there are a number of other imports queued ahead of you. Also the maintenance times are not always the best time for me to get in there and do what I need to do because the entire website goes down for those updates. **What problems is Salsify PXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Salsify because our major client recommends it to house their products in one centralized place. No matter how little or how much you spend, you all feel important and well cared for. This is also one of the most user-friendly and intuitive platforms I've used in a super long while. It is highly customizable, and there is a lot of flexibility. You get out just as much and more than you put in. You can create as many fields as you need. Digital assets do not have to be attached to a product and can be managed as separate entities. With many available syndication partners and the ability to create custom channels, you can cover 95% of your syndication needs. Ability to manage and syndicate A+ content Workflows are strong tools that are constantly improving. If you don't have a solid hub for all of your product data, then Salsify is a must for your organization. You're actually losing money every second you delay onboarding. I have had the opportunity to participate in and lead two integrations with two very different companies. There is so much that this solution can do for you. The more you do, the more you realize you can do. **What do you dislike about Salsify PXM?** Sometimes a service ticket can fall through the cracks here and there, but a quick note usually sees a quick answering following through shortly after. **Recommendations to others considering Salsify PXM:** You will never regret your choice to partner with Salsify. **What problems is Salsify PXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lack of a central data hub. We have an very old ERP system that is expensive to update with programmatic changes needed for improving e-commerce data syndication. Salsify has remedied that problem for us. Different departments repeating the same work because there is no central repository of data. Now each data expert enters their knowledge about the product into the system through cascading workflows that, when done, ensure a full product details page. That contains everything from Marketing, Specs, Digital Assets, Logistical data, Pricing data, etc. ### 14. Having all product and digital content within one platform is creating efficiencies and allowing our team to improve content using the tools available with our package. We moved our PIM to Salsify in May, and have been able to review and find the gaps in our information to improve our search and drive consistent application within the tools. **What do you dislike about Salsify PXM?** At this point in our partnership, we haven't found any mentionable downside. We are going to consider in your 2nd year with this partner how to ensure we have the right support from the Salsify team to minimize any learning curves as we develop and grow our portfolio and content. **Recommendations to others considering Salsify PXM:** I highly recommend partnering with Salsify. They are continuously driving and improving their services, and are true partners in providing the best solutions to move your business to the next level. **What problems is Salsify PXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** The largest problem we had to solve was digital content. Our online content was managed from a shared source, we didn't have controls over our content or ability to update multiple shelves. Partnering with Salsify has allowed us to centralize our assets, assess and upgrade as needed then define the distribution and use system disemmination rather than maunal. Reporting tools also allow us to measure and benchmark our content and from that we are building processes to continually evolve and improve. ### 15. If you use product families, variants, custom attributes, or anything outside of a VERY vanilla B2C feature set with extremely well-defined endpoints that happen to align with the stock fields in Salsify, THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT FOR YOU... RUN AWAY! **What problems is Salsify PXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Frankly, this software has CAUSED more problems and issues for us than it has solved. It would crop, change file types, resize, etc all in bulk. You can set up custom templates for your customers so the data is always pulled into the right template, since no one uses the same product information format.. It was easy to export data into different formats and templates, or directly publish data to connected customers, such as Amazon. **What do you dislike about Salsify PXM?** The onboarding processes was long. You really need to dedicate the time and resources to setting this up and getting the information correctly imported into Salsify. If you don't follow along each week, and have your information gathered, then it makes it difficult to learn in a hands-on matter. It is easy to find data within Salsify, verses having to search through SAP, or another ERP you may be using. It's all tied to the SKU, so you don't need to view multiple screens or menus to see the inforamtion. I like how it's tied to other e-retailers, such as Amazon, and can automatically publish updated and new product information to the platforms.You can also tie it into your website so that data is automatically refreshed as well. It's great being able to update it in one spot and having it disseminate to the other channels. I also like how it can convert image files into various sizes and color formats, etc. **What do you dislike about Salsify PXM?** It can be a bit cumbersome to learn. I didn't find the onboarding particularly amazing, but they are all very nice to work with. It's a long onboarding process, but you really need to dedicate the time and resources to implementation. If you are going from no product management system it takes a lot of effort to get the data into one centralized area, and get it imported. It's also a little cumbersome to tie images to each SKU. I had 3,000+ SKUs and each SKU had at least one image, typically hey had 3 to 5 images each. You use a spreadsheet to tie the image files to the SKUs so it is not an easily visual way to know which file goes with which SKU. **Recommendations to others considering Salsify PXM:** Great system, but definitely dedicate resources and time to the set-up to ensure a smooth and successful implementation. **What problems is Salsify PXM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sending information and data to customers, as well as creating custom templates for each customer. Because every customer uses a different template, it was difficult to keep up with the demands.
