What do you like best about Salesgenie by Data Axle?

I really like that Salesgenie by Data Axle is super simple and very user-friendly. It's able to hook up with our dialer, Kixie, so I can just click on a number on the screen, and it'll pop up. This makes it easy for us to go through a lot more leads because it integrates well with our dialer. As soon as there's a telephone number on the screen, we can click it, and it'll call directly from our Kixie dialer, which uses a local number, making it more likely for people to answer. What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?

The data when you pay or when you download it, it pretty much comes out, it's hard for us to put it on a dialer. So even if we download our credits or whatever, it just makes it more time-consuming than just calling it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesgenie by Data Axle?

I like that Salesgenie by Data Axle is easy to use, allowing us to create lots of different lists of contacts quickly. The email campaign capability is handy for testing out all the emails. A really nice feature is that they credit us back for any emails that bounce. The data quality is much better compared to other platforms we've used in the past, which is why we chose them. What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?

The email campaign functionality only sends one email. We would like to be able to send an email drip sequence with a series of emails where the first one gets sent, then after a few days, a follow-up email is sent, and so on. The number of phone numbers that were active and working was very limited. And there were very few mobile phone numbers provided. What do you like best about Salesgenie by Data Axle?

Pinpoint targeting for our markets: Easy filters by company size/industry in Two Local counties, so we can zero in on 10–50 employee groups fast.

All-in-one outreach: Built-in list building, email/call workflows, and lead assignment—lets us run invite → RSVP → tour without juggling five tools.

Speed-to-execution: Low learning curve; we were able to stand up sequences and start booking breakfasts/after-hours tours quickly.

Great for “mine the base”: Helpful for deepening penetration at employers where we already have contracts (pull contacts, segment by site/department, re-engage).

Operational visibility: Simple dashboards and exports make it easy to update our KPI Scoreboard and track invites → tours → sign-ups.

Value for money: Strong data + outreach utility compared to heavier, pricier marketing stacks we’ve tried.

(Very little—overall it’s a strong fit. A few wish-list items and gotchas to watch:)

Contact freshness varies: As with any database, a small % of contacts can be stale—plan for light validation/cleanup.

Email deliverability care: Built-in sending is convenient, but we still need domain warm-up and list hygiene to keep replies high.

Deeper integrations: Native, tighter handoffs to Calendly/ActiveCampaign/Teams would reduce manual steps.

Sequencing/A/B depth: Would love more granular testing (subject lines, send times) and richer analytics out of the box.

How in depth your search can be. You can narrow it down based on company size, vertical marketing, general area- or all three. Compared to other systems, I have found the info provided is more accurate and up to date. This is a key difference maker when cold calling.
