## Mailforge Reviews
 ### 1. Fast, All-in-One Cold Email Setup with Transparent Pricing and Included Warm-Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Théo B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

The onboarding is genuinely fast and self-explanatory. I set up 3 dedicated cold email domains, DMARC/SPF/DKIM records, and 6 mailboxes in about 20 minutes from account creation to being ready to warm up. The whole flow feels engineered by people who actually run cold outreach, not by generic SaaS builders.

The pricing is transparent and easily the most competitive I found for a dedicated cold email infrastructure. At $3 per mailbox slot, it beats every alternative I compared: Instantly starts around $7-8 per mailbox at similar tiers, Smartlead and Reply.io are in the same range. For a solo founder or small team bootstrapping outbound, that price gap is significant over 12 months.

Having domain purchase integrated directly into the setup wizard is the killer feature for me. Every other cold email tool sends you back to Namecheap or GoDaddy to buy domains separately, then walk you through DNS record copy-paste. Mailforge handles domain acquisition, DNS configuration, SSL, and mailbox provisioning in one continuous flow. The Server 2.0 activation was instant on all three of my domains, unlike some competitors where domain readiness takes 24-48 hours.

The mailbox generation wizard with predefined names is a smart touch. You define your naming convention once (mine was First name + Last name of my founder identity, per Mailforge's recommendation for solo outreach) and it deploys coherent, professional-looking mailboxes across all your domains in one action instead of creating them one by one.

Finally, warm-up is included and doesn't require a separate subscription. Most competitors force you to bolt on a Warmup tool like Warmup Inbox or Mailwarm for an extra $30-50 per month, which adds up fast.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

The 10-slot minimum tier feels excessive for early-stage founders. I only needed 6 mailboxes (3 domains × 2 mailboxes per domain, which is the safe cold email standard), but I had to subscribe to 10 slots regardless. I understand the infrastructure amortization argument, but offering a 5-slot starter tier would help solopreneurs and bootstrapped teams test the product without over-committing $30/month. Even a $20/month 5-slot tier would remove significant friction for first-time buyers.

The DMARC email prompt during setup could be clearer. There's a small red warning about the volume of DMARC reports you'll receive if you enter an email, but the wording is easy to miss for someone unfamiliar with email authentication. I initially almost put my main business email there, which would have flooded my inbox with hundreds of JSON reports daily. A more explicit "Only add this if you have a DMARC parser like dmarcian" warning would prevent common mistakes.

The onboarding lacks a preview of the Unified Inbox and reply workflow. You commit to a paid plan and generate all your mailboxes before seeing where and how you'll manage replies. A quick mockup or interactive demo of the reply management interface during the setup wizard would help buyers know what to expect.

Third-party integrations documentation is thin. If you plan to connect your Mailforge mailboxes to popular sequence tools like Instantly, Smartlead, or Lemlist, you have to hunt for SMTP/IMAP credentials in a submenu and configure everything manually. Native integrations or clearer step-by-step guides for the top 5 sequencing tools would make Mailforge more attractive to users who already have an outreach platform they like.

Finally, the naming convention wizard could offer custom patterns beyond the predefined formats.

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm launching a B2B SaaS in Europe (an AI agents suite for small and mid-sized businesses) and needed dedicated cold email infrastructure separate from my main domain. The core problem Mailforge solves for me is the "cold outreach without burning your main domain reputation" dilemma. My main domain hosts my paying customers, my transactional emails, my support inbox, and my dashboard notifications. Sending cold email from that domain would risk trashing its sender reputation, ending up on blacklists, and causing my legitimate customer emails to land in spam. Mailforge lets me buy separate outreach-only domains that isolate this risk completely.

Before finding Mailforge, my options were painful. Buying Google Workspace mailboxes on secondary domains costs $6 to $12 per user per month, so 8 mailboxes would run $48 to $96 monthly, plus a separate warmup tool at $30 to $50 per month, plus deliverability monitoring at another $20 per month. Total: $100 to $170 monthly just for infrastructure, before any sequencing software. Mailforge bundles infrastructure, warmup, deliverability monitoring, and domain purchase into a single $30 to $50 monthly plan depending on tier. It saves me roughly $70 to $120 per month, which is meaningful when you're bootstrapping.

Beyond cost, the time saved is significant. Setting up 3 domains with proper DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) manually would take me a full day between domain registrar, DNS provider, mailbox configuration, and warmup tool onboarding. Mailforge collapses all of that into a 20-minute wizard. As a solo founder, that time saved directly translates into hours I can spend on messaging, prospect research, and product work instead of fighting DNS records.

The main benefit is focus: I stopped worrying about infrastructure and started thinking about my ICP, my copy, and my sequences.

 ### 2. Cost-Effective Email Campaigns Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave W. | Founder & Fractional Revenue Development Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

I use Mailforge because it's a less expensive and quick way to start new email campaigns. It allows me to get up and running on a new campaign quickly, which is great for fractional sales development where I can try out a campaign for good value. I really like inheriting other users' safe score to get started quickly. The setup was crazy easy.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

What makes it great also makes it not work long term. You inherit the total IP score. At some point, you will want to build your own trusted perfect score for long-term campaigns.

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mailforge to test email campaigns quickly and inexpensively. It helps me start a new campaign fast, especially for fractional sales development. Inheriting user safe scores gets me started smoothly.

 ### 3. Fast, Intuitive Bulk Domains & Mailboxes with Seamless *forge Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANTON S. | Collaboration Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

Everything is fast and intuitive—buying domains and mailboxes in bulk is seamless; you can use AI to generate names based on your main website. As with all other *forge products, there's a neat integration with buying leads, or setting up sequences.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

Honestly, there’s nothing to complain about; everything is reasonable and right at your fingertips

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is the tool that helped me build the foundation for my cold outreach and mass email campaigns.
I set up several domains here—you do this to avoid ruining your main inbox due to spam risks—and it’s relatively cheap, definitely on par with market rates.
Then I quickly connected several mailboxes. If you have Salesforge, they will start warming up immediately, which is a great feature.
You can also export all your mailboxes to another similar tool; the functionality for that is right there.

 ### 4. Strong Integrations, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Idris H. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

Reactivity of their customer service team and quality / performance of product delivered. UI is super intuitive, and integrations with internal (salesforge, etc.) and external tools are strong

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

I did not understand at first that they have multiple offers (mailforge, salesforge, primeforge, etc.). It should be more clear (maybe form at the beginning to orient towards relevant tools). And also should have bundle offers when having 2+ tools from them

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting inboxes, launching my sales campaigns

 ### 5. Effortless Email Management, Essential for Consultancies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooks C. | Co-Founder | GTM Engineering & RevOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

I use Mailforge for the entire infrastructure of my GTM and RevOps consultancy and it's a crucial part of everything we do inside ALPN Digital and for all our clients. Mailforge handles everything related to mailbox and domain sourcing, management, setup, and configuration. It's a pain to manage across fragmented tools, but Mailforge makes it easy. Also, since it's tied to a full system, it makes life very easy and efficient. I really like the simplicity and ease of use; it saves us time, keeps us lean, and increases efficiency. Usually, we manage everything for our clients, but in cases where they want to own everything, it's a simple and easy-to-use platform that we can comfortably put in people's hands, knowing they won't get lost or confused. The initial setup was too easy.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

Nothing

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mailforge handles mailbox and domain management, setup, and configuration smoothly. It consolidates fragmented tools, saving us time and increasing efficiency, allowing us to focus on clients. It's simple for clients to use without confusion.

 ### 6. Effortless Cold Email Setup, Streamlined Campaign Launches

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo A. | Business Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

I appreciate Mailforge because it gave us an option compared to doing the whole buy domains + create mailboxes + configure SPF/DKIM/DMARC + tracking process manually (or bouncing between a bunch of tools and a DNS dashboard). We used it at our agency to spin up cold email infrastructure for new client campaigns fast

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

Sometimes their UI is counterintuitive for example when switching plans such as reducing the number of mailboxes, I wish they had a better mobile experience as it's still kind of clunky to make changes from mobile

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main challenge was having an affordable way to use different kinds of mailboxes that were not too prone to being banned or trigger spam filters, if we had gone the normal route we would've had to pay a lot in godaddy domains and then buy licenses for each mailboxes whether its google or microsoft only to get banned. Instead mailforge allowed us to quickly set up mailboxes and start sending relatively fast

 ### 7. Strong Deliverability and Great Value for Shared Infrastructure Mailboxes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adarsh k. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

We used 60 mailboxes from Mailforge; we were using Maildoso earlier. By far, it offers the best alternatives to shared infrastructure mailboxes.

Deliverability is strong, and mailbox prices are reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

If possible, please offer the option to buy aged domains

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping us with shared mailboxes and deliverability. With Mailforge, we are sending approx 16k emails every month.

 ### 8. Mailforge Simplifies Outbound Inbox Setup and Scaling Cold Email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliana Y. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

Mailforge makes setting up and managing outbound inbox infrastructure much simpler than doing it manually. The provisioning process is straightforward and it helps keep domains organized when running multiple campaigns. It saves time and reduces technical friction when scaling cold email.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

The platform works well overall, but more visibility into inbox health metrics and domain performance over time would be helpful. Additional reporting around warmup progress and reputation signals would make optimization even easier. That said, the core functionality is solid and reliable.

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Mailforge, setting up and managing multiple outbound inboxes required more manual work and technical setup. It was harder to keep domains organized and maintain a consistent infrastructure as we scaled campaigns.

Mailforge simplifies inbox provisioning and domain management, which reduces setup time and keeps everything more structured. It helps us scale outbound more confidently while maintaining stability across multiple domains.

 ### 9. One of the best custom SMTP inbox providers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

Ease of use, mass editing, automatic setups, instant chat support with real people, cost efficient.
Works very well with Salesforge, connecting everything seamlessly with just a click.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

Inbox creation customization options.
You either have to create each inbox individually (albeit from within the platform and faster than fully manual creations), or let the system auto create them for you (removing the option of picking your preferred alias@ inbox names).

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting domains and inboxes at scale for outbound. Works equally well with all prospect email providers and will change email servers if deliverability starts going wrong with the current one.
Huge time saver, because everything is consolidated into one place, and most of the tedious processes, such as DNS records setup, are automatic.

 ### 10. Efficient Cold Outreach with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vijina J. | Digital Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailforge?**

I like using Mailforge for cold email outreach because it improves email deliverability. I appreciate that Mailforge allows me to send high volumes without getting flagged by sending from many inboxes instead of blasting from one address. The initial infrastructure setup was easy, and I found the support helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mailforge?**

sending rates can be improved

**What problems is Mailforge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mailforge to improve email deliverability and send high volumes without getting flagged. It sends from many inboxes instead of one, which helps in managing email outreach efficiently.
