Salesforce is currently used to track product transference from lead generation and combing(Leads),to initial POC with a physician or potential patient client(Activities), to requesting supplies(Products) that are then packaged and shipped to a physician for specimen collection and return(Opportunities w/ Stages) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

Reporting, only three ways of sorting, can't sort by multiple tiers,

Emailing

One contact to many accounts (currently a one-to-one relationship, so physicians that practice at multiple locations must be dealt with with custom development)

Inventory management

Mobile interaction (It's usually more efficient to use the mobile app to just navigate to the full site on a phone or tablet) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

I like that this program allows us to deal directly with our customers in a very indirect way.

What do you like best about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

The wonderful integration that salesforce allows for helps our organization access our clients products and present them to our patients with our in house platform. This eliminates the need for internal associates and patients to jump from site to site trying to find the product that will best suit their needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

As robust as the front end is the back-end requires a lot of development and legwork. With the vast array of features it can be overwhelming trying to clean up the front end UI to be aesthetically pleasing and comfortable for the end user to navigate. Even though this is a lightning module there is a good amount of administrator tasks that require you to be in classic mode to configure. Implementation can be expensive but worth it if you anticipate steady growth within your operational functions. Having the base Salesforce CRM platform already to build on will make things much easier. Yes API's can be built out if you do not however it is not as efficient. We have optimized the process for patients to access our clients products in an efficient and timely manner. This helped our operational side of the business to focus on improving SLA's that were suffering and bring them up to suitable levels because time was not being lost with associates doing administrative tasks for patients due to this Salesforce module. What do you like best about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

That one can customize fields across industries (E-Commerce, Finance etc) using Restful APIs. One can control the exposure of a multitude of small dashboards within Salesforce using roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Takes time to figure out how to customize certain fields while making an API call that doesn;t support an object type. Support is slightly tardy.

Also one needs to find an expert in salesforce administration, which can be quite costly for startups Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're in e-commerce/finance industry and you want to track how the data flows from pre-sales->sales->operations->approval->sign off then salesforce cloud does a brilliant job in exposing industry standards and makes it readily available for new users to adapt to it without much tech changes. What problems is Salesforce Commerce for B2C solving and how is that benefiting you?

Maker and checker dashboards while liasoning with vendors (eg- we're a marketplace of financial services, and we communicate data/docs with our lenders using salesforce dashboard and exposed APIs)

Tech integrations of object types can create foundations of salesforce, while user interface can be used by laymen like sales, operations, accounts, admins etc

Going forward we'd like to utilize salesforce for accounting reports too. We'll recommend all our vendors/financial partners to communicate with us via salesforce only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

It’s very user friendly as it allows you to search orders for a specific time frame. I can set up to view orders Thursday through Tuesday or what have you. I feel like other softwares I’m stuck looking Monday to Friday and that’s not always the most helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

I dislike that it’s a little tricky to edit orders once they’ve been submitted. And I dislike how you can only print certain reports once. You are out of luck if you print and misplace it..... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesforce Commerce for B2C?

I have been using Demandware (a Salesforce Product) for e-commerce site development and i simply love the way people At Salesforce are eager to help Whenever a ticket is raised for support. The sandbox view and pushing everything to cloud just makes it so simple and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing i dislike is its not an open source where things get bit tricky when you are stuck at some point of development. The fees are comparitively a bit higher.

I can build a standalone e-commerce website and also integrate with tons of 3rd party products like PayPal, AmazonPay for ease of doing business. Everything can even be analysed to perfection.
