## Salesforce B2B Commerce Reviews
  ### 1. Salesforce B2B Commerce: Powerful B2B Hierarchies, SSO, Custom Pricing & RBAC

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akansha C. | Infra Managed Service Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

As an Identity Engineer, what I appreciate most about Salesforce B2B Commerce is how naturally it maps to complex organizational hierarchies. It doesn’t just treat customers as individual users; it recognizes them as business entities with nuanced procurement rules and negotiated contracts. The platform’s out-of-the-box ability to connect Identity (SSO) with custom pricing and RBAC makes it a strategic asset for engineering-led organizations that want to digitize and manage high-scale B2B relationships.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

While the platform is unmatched for complex B2B logic, the GMV-based pricing model can feel like a “success tax,” which makes long-term TCO forecasting harder. On top of that, the architectural overhead involved in migrating away from legacy Visualforce elements into a modern LWR environment represents a substantial engineering investment. It’s a powerful engine, but it demands a very specific—and costly—set of mechanics to keep it operating at peak performance over time.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform addresses the “data fragmentation” gap between our commercial contracts and our digital storefront. From an architect’s perspective, the biggest advantage is its native RBAC and account hierarchy support. This foundation lets us orchestrate complex procurement workflows and negotiated pricing without having to write custom code for each client. As a result, we’ve seen a significant reduction in administrative overhead, shifting our commerce strategy from manual entry to an automated, identity-driven experience.

  ### 2. Streamlined, Customizable B2B Buying Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Schantera M. | Insurance Broker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

What I like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce is how it creates a streamlined and personalized buying experience for business customers while integrating directly with the broader Salesforce ecosystem. The platform makes it easier to manage customer relationships, orders, pricing, and account data all in one place, which improves efficiency and organization.

I also like the level of customization and automation available. Businesses can create tailored experiences for different clients, automate workflows, and provide real-time access to products, pricing, inventory, and order tracking. This helps improve both the customer experience and internal operations.

Another major advantage is scalability. Salesforce B2B Commerce is powerful enough to support growing businesses while providing strong reporting, analytics, and integration capabilities. Overall, it helps simplify complex sales processes, improve customer engagement, and create a more efficient e-commerce experience for both businesses and customers.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

One thing I dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce is that the platform can have a steep learning curve, especially for new users or smaller teams without dedicated technical support. Because the system is highly customizable and feature-rich, setup and configuration can sometimes feel complex and time-consuming.

I also found that certain customizations and integrations may require developer assistance, which can increase implementation costs and slow down changes or updates. At times, the interface can feel overwhelming due to the large number of tools and settings available.

Another challenge is that the platform may feel more robust than necessary for smaller businesses with simpler sales processes. While the capabilities are powerful, fully utilizing the system often requires training, ongoing management, and a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem. Overall, while Salesforce B2B Commerce offers excellent functionality and scalability, ease of use and implementation could be improved.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce B2B Commerce helps solve the challenges of managing complex business-to-business sales processes, customer relationships, and online ordering in one centralized platform. It streamlines operations by connecting e-commerce, customer data, pricing, inventory, and order management directly within the Salesforce ecosystem.

One of the biggest benefits is improved efficiency and automation. The platform makes it easier to manage customer accounts, personalized pricing, product catalogs, and repeat ordering without relying on multiple disconnected systems. This creates a smoother buying experience for customers while reducing manual work internally.

It also helps improve customer engagement by allowing businesses to provide personalized experiences, self-service ordering, real-time order tracking, and easier communication. From a business standpoint, having centralized data and reporting improves visibility into customer activity, sales performance, and operational workflows.

For me, the biggest benefit is having a more organized and scalable system that simplifies complex sales processes, improves customer experience, and helps save time through automation and integration.

  ### 3. Configurable and Accessible, but with an Improvable Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis A. | Subject Matter Expert (SME) - LDH Nearshore, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

I use Salesforce B2B Commerce as the main CRM for recording business activities, and I find it very useful for tracking all business opportunities and email outreach. I like that it is easy to configure for what my company needs. One of the things I value most is the possibility for anyone in my company to use it anywhere in the world, along with its mobile version. This allows me to have a meeting and record it from my cell phone, or view the account history before having the meeting, which is very practical.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

Interface less user-friendly than competitors. It doesn't allow automating sequences as easily as its competitors.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Salesforce B2B Commerce for tracking business opportunities and email outreach. I love its ease of configuration and mobile access, which allows me to log meetings on my phone and access account history globally.

  ### 4. Intuitive and Powerful with Some Necessary Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo F. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Business Supplies and Equipment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

I like the usability of Salesforce B2B Commerce and its easy integration with other platforms. The platform is very intuitive, allowing the sales team, without needing extensive technical knowledge, to carry out their entire sales flow efficiently to achieve their goals. Additionally, its integration with other platforms like META allows impacting customers with relevant information at the right moment, which creates impact and improves the company's profit margin.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

Sometimes when you extract reports, the filtering part is tedious and not as intuitive as other processes can be.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Salesforce B2B Commerce to manage customer information, and the team obtains all the necessary information to offer the best service.

  ### 5. Intuitive and Global, but Improvable in Reports

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oriol F. | Customer Retention Manager, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

I really like that Salesforce B2B Commerce is a very intuitive, very fast, and very simple platform for any team. Additionally, it is one of the most important platforms worldwide.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

I believe that creating the reports is a bit tedious and should improve, but it's the only thing I don't like. Another thing is the issue of downloading the reports, it doesn't work quite well either, so that would be the only drawback of Salesforce.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Salesforce B2B Commerce to centralize customer information, orders, and claims on one platform. It allows any team in the company to easily access customer information, aligning departments and preventing data loss.

  ### 6. Excellent Cloud Connectivity and Easy Entitlement Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parth P. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

The connectivity with other cloud of sales, service and community and also the ease of entiltement in the clouds is best for now.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

The support when the process is stuck in middle it is not so good and also the connectivity with the Agent force and 360 is not upto that mark

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For connecting the commerce cloud with sales cloud and also with service cloud is best and later on the connectivity with the other platform.

  ### 7. Email Queues That Keep Me Out of Gmail All Day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christy H. | Senior Client Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

I really like being able to create email queues, rather than having to stay in Gmail all day.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

Sometimes the setup can be a bit tricky, and I still don’t fully understand how to set up queues on my own.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SF is helping me get my email inbox under control. It’s also improved the way we handle order cancellations, communicate internally, and assign tasks to specific teams and individuals.

  ### 8. Powerful Salesforce Integration, But Setup and Customization Can Feel Heavy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

What I like most is how well it integrates with the broader Salesforce ecosystem. Having customer data, sales processes, and commerce in one place makes it easier to manage B2B relationships and streamline ordering workflows. It’s particularly useful for businesses that deal with complex pricing, bulk orders, or account-based purchasing. The platform is also quite scalable, so it can support growing business needs without major restructuring.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

The platform can feel heavy and requires time to fully understand, especially during the initial setup. Customizations often need technical support, which can slow things down if you don’t have the right resources. Also, the overall cost can add up as you scale, particularly when additional features or integrations are required. Some parts of the interface could be more intuitive for day-to-day use.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the challenge of managing B2B orders and customer-specific pricing in a structured way. Instead of handling orders manually or across multiple systems, everything is centralized, which reduces errors and improves efficiency. The biggest benefit is better visibility into customer activity and smoother order management, although it does require proper setup to get the most value out of it.

  ### 9. Powerful B2B Commerce for Pricing & Contracts, but Costs Add Up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashfhaq S. | Senior Consultant, Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

B2B Commerce is built to handle different pricing, contracts, and buyer setups for each customer, so every customer automatically sees the right products, discounts, and payment terms. This makes it easier to move from quote to order and lets you send negotiated CPQ deals straight into the storefront so buyers can place orders on their own.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

It’s an expensive product with high license, setup, and ongoing support costs, which can be hard for small or mid‑sized companies to afford.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides one platform that can manage complicated B2B processes but can also grow to support B2C or mixed B2B/B2C models, which fits well with focus on Salesforce‑based, scalable integrations.

  ### 10. Deep CRM Integration for Personalized, Scalable B2B Commerce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narsing S. | Senior Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

What I like best about Salesforce Commerce for B2B is how deeply it integrates with CRM data to deliver personalized, account-based buying experiences.
It handles complex B2B needs well—like custom pricing, contract terms, and large catalogs.
The platform is scalable and flexible, making it easier to support growth and multi-channel selling.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

What I dislike about Salesforce Commerce for B2B is the complexity and steep learning curve, especially during implementation.
Customization can be time-consuming and often requires specialized expertise.
It can also be costly, which may be challenging for smaller or less mature B2B organizations.

**What problems is Salesforce B2B Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Commerce for B2B solves the problem of managing complex B2B buying journeys by unifying customer, product, and pricing data in one platform.
It benefits me by streamlining order management, enabling personalized, account-based experiences, and reducing manual sales effort.
This leads to faster transactions, better customer satisfaction, and improved operational efficiency.
