## Salesforce Customer Success Reviews
 ### 1. Strong Salesforce Expertise, But Needs More Tailored Guidance and Clearer Ownership

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha R. | Salesforce Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like best about Salesforce Customer Success is the combination of Salesforce expertise, practical guidance, and access to best practices. It helps us navigate complex platform decisions, understand new capabilities, and align our Salesforce strategy with business needs. The proactive guidance is especially valuable for architecture, adoption, governance, and getting the most value from our Salesforce investment.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

At times, it can be challenging to navigate the breadth of available resources and determine which guidance is most relevant to our specific environment. More proactive, tailored recommendations based on our org’s architecture, usage patterns, and upcoming product changes would make Customer Success even more valuable. Greater consistency in follow-up and clearer ownership for complex issues would also improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps address challenges around platform adoption, solution design, governance, and maximizing the value of Salesforce investments. It provides access to expertise, guidance, best practices, and resources that help us make informed architectural decisions, accelerate adoption of new capabilities, and reduce implementation and operational risks. This benefits us by improving platform stability, increasing user adoption, and helping our teams get more value from Salesforce while reducing technical debt and avoiding costly rework.

 ### 2. Structured, Specialist-Led Guidance That Keeps Complex Salesforce Projects on Track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caio M. | Marketing Automation Consultant Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like best about Salesforce Customer Success is having a structured path for support and guidance beyond just documentation. Access to specialists, best practices, and proactive recommendations helps us avoid reinventing the wheel and catch potential issues before they become real problems, especially on more complex, multi-cloud implementations

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I dislike about Salesforce Customer Success is that the level of support can feel inconsistent depending on the plan or the specific issue, and response times aren't always fast enough for time-sensitive problems. It would help to have more proactive, tailored guidance instead of mostly generic resources and best practices.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success is solving the problem of keeping momentum and support consistent after go-live, not just during implementation. Having access to resources, best practices, and expert guidance helps us troubleshoot issues faster, adopt new features with more confidence, and avoid common pitfalls. This benefits us by reducing downtime, shortening the learning curve on new releases, and making sure the platform keeps delivering value long term instead of stalling after the initial rollout

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Salesforce Customer Success is helping us solve challenges around product adoption, technical guidance, troubleshooting, and getting more business value from the Salesforce platform. It helps us understand new Salesforce capabilities, follow best practices, and identify opportunities to improve our existing implementation.

The biggest benefit for me is having access to Salesforce expertise when we face complex configuration or platform-related challenges. It also helps our team stay current with new features and innovations, reduce time spent trying to solve issues independently, and make better decisions about how we can use Salesforce to improve our business processes and productivity.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like best about Salesforce Customer Success is the proactive guidance and expertise it provides throughout the customer journey. The team helps connect business goals with Salesforce capabilities by sharing best practices, strategic recommendations, training resources, and product adoption guidance. Having access to knowledgeable experts who understand both the platform and business challenges helps accelerate problem-solving, improve user adoption, and maximize the value of Salesforce investments. The ongoing partnership and focus on achieving measurable outcomes make Customer Success a valuable resource for driving long-term success.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

While Salesforce Customer Success provides valuable guidance and resources, one area for improvement is the consistency and timeliness of engagement. At times, recommendations can feel more generalized than tailored to specific business needs, and it may take time to connect with the right subject matter experts for highly specialized questions. Additionally, organizations with complex environments may benefit from more proactive outreach, deeper technical guidance, and more frequent check-ins to help ensure that strategic goals and adoption initiatives stay on track.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps address challenges related to product adoption, implementation guidance, best practices, and maximizing return on investment from Salesforce products. By providing access to success resources, expert guidance, training, strategic recommendations, and proactive support, it helps organizations overcome obstacles that can slow down adoption or limit the value gained from the platform.

 ### 6. Proactive Retention with Accurate Health Scoring and Predictive Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The health scoring and predictive analytics accurately identify at-risk customers for proactive intervention. Seamless integration with Sales and Service Cloud provides unified customer context. Automated workflows reduce manual tracking effort. Strong reporting and dashboards enable data-driven retention strategies. Helps shift focus from reactive to proactive customer engagement.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Implementation requires clean data and good CRM hygiene—garbage in, garbage out. High licensing costs for additional user seats. The platform's effectiveness depends on adoption and discipline from sales and service teams to maintain data quality. Customization can be complex and time-consuming. Initial setup and configuration demanding significant resources.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides early visibility into customer health and churn risk through health scoring and analytics. Enables proactive engagement by identifying at-risk customers before they leave. Tracks expansion opportunities within existing customer base. Centralizes customer success team workflows and task management. For administration, it reduces manual health monitoring, integrates customer data across the entire lifecycle (sales, service, success), improves retention metrics, and enables data-driven customer retention strategies that directly impact revenue.

 ### 7. Strong Post-Implementation Focus That Drives Adoption and Ongoing Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maham H. | Salesforce Solutions Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like most about Salesforce Customer Success is that it focuses on what happens after the technology is implemented. In the complex Salesforce programs I’ve worked on, delivering the solution is only the beginning—the real challenge is adoption, continuous optimization, scalability, and making sure the platform keeps delivering business value.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

From my experience, there can also be a gap between strategic guidance and execution. Knowing that a customer should improve governance, adoption, or architecture is useful, but translating that into concrete implementation steps can still require significant effort from the customer’s own teams and partners.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Salesforce Customer Success solves the gap between implementing Salesforce and actually realizing long-term business value from it. A good example is a complex Salesforce environment I worked on where multiple orgs, integrations, and business processes had to work together. The challenge wasn’t simply delivering the initial solution—it was making sure the architecture could scale, users adopted the capabilities, and we continued making the right platform decisions as requirements evolved. In situations like that, Customer Success adds value by bringing product expertise, architectural guidance, best practices, and a longer-term perspective to the conversation. It can help identify risks and opportunities that may not be obvious during the initial implementation. The biggest benefit for me is that it shifts the conversation from “Did we implement Salesforce successfully?” to “Are we continuously getting the business outcome we invested in Salesforce for?”. That mindset is particularly important in large, evolving Salesforce ecosystems.

 ### 8. Helpful guidance, though quality depends on the assigned person

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sadahiro S. | Principal Evangelist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The useful part is having a place to ask, “Are we using this the usual way?” Trailhead and Help are not always enough when several clouds sit together. A Success contact can point to the next step, or tell us which setting is the normal one. For our team, this is more helpful than searching alone for half a day. When the person understands our org, the conversation is short and practical.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

It is not a product with one screen, so the experience changes by plan and by person. Some answers stay at a general level, and we still have to test the real org ourselves. Scheduling also takes time when several teams are involved. I do not see this as a defect every week, but we cannot treat it like a tool that always gives the same result.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem is not one missing button. It is the gap after we buy several Salesforce products. We can open the setup page, but we are not always sure about the recommended path, the license boundary, or who should own the next change. That delay is quiet, but it slows adoption. Customer Success helps us reduce that guessing. We get a contact, a review point, and sometimes a clearer order of work. For our team, this shortened some internal debates. It does not implement the system for us, but it makes the next decision easier to explain inside the company.

 ### 9. Hands-On Salesforce Implementation Guidance with Proactive Release & Security Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke D. | Salesforce Administrator & BI Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

End-to-End Implementation Guidance
Their team offers hands-on, technical guidance for complex setups like Agentforce for Service, which has reduced our time-to-value and removed much of the guesswork from implementation.

Proactive Release & Security Insights
They also act as a knowledgeable sounding board for upcoming platform releases and security updates, helping ensure our Salesforce environment remains compliant and optimized.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Variable Response Times for Complex Technical Inquiries
Routine questions are usually handled quickly, but deeply technical edge cases or customized setup issues can sometimes take longer to reach the right subject matter expert. This can slow down project implementation when you have to wait for a specialist, especially since you may not work with the same specialist throughout the project. Instead, you can get handed off to someone else as the implementation progresses, which adds friction and delays.

High Premium Support Tier Costs
Getting access to dedicated, high-touch success plans and designated technical account managers is a significant investment for ongoing support. For us, the cost is justified because we don’t have an internal Salesforce team, so we rely on this higher-end support to fill that gap.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complex AI & Feature Implementation
Problem: Implementing advanced features like Agentforce for Service end-to-end can require specialized configuration, integration testing, and ongoing refinement, which can easily overwhelm internal teams.
Benefit: Salesforce Customer Success provided hands-on expertise and guided our setup from start to finish, speeding up implementation and helping ensure the tools were configured correctly.

Managing Rapid Platform Updates & Security Standards
Problem: Staying current with major seasonal releases, compliance guidelines, and evolving security requirements takes continuous monitoring and attention.
Benefit: They provide ongoing guidance and clear explanations of release features, helping us proactively address security updates and optimize our environment without operational disruptions.

 ### 10. Excellent Software, But Customer Support Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I really find Salesforce Customer Success incredibly helpful and efficient for managing all of my relationships. It's very intricate, providing a lot of details and good stuff, which is something I really love about it. Also, being able to organize all the client relationships effectively and accessing all the data and information easily is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I'm really not a fan of the slow customer service with Salesforce Customer Success. They need to have people easily accessible 24/7; right now, it's just a hassle to get help. It shouldn't take forever to get assistance with technical features, regardless of the organization's size. Also, waiting so long just to reach a case agent is really frustrating.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Salesforce Customer Success to organize client relationships effectively and access data easily through an intricate and detailed interface.

I like having access to knowledgeable Salesforce experts who can help us validate our approach and provide guidance on best practices. It is especially helpful when working with newer products and features where there may not be much real-world experience internally yet.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Sometimes it can be difficult to know which Customer Success resource or channel is best for a specific issue, and some questions can take time to get to the right level of expertise. More direct guidance and faster access to specialized resources would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success has helped us navigate complex implementation and configuration questions, especially around new Salesforce features, automation, and AI capabilities. Having access to guidance and expertise helps us make better architectural decisions, resolve issues faster, and get more value from our Salesforce investment.

 ### 12. Salesforce Expertise and Best Practices That Improve Our Decisions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

The most helpful aspect is the access to Salesforce expertise and best practices. It helps us stay updated with new features, understand recommended approaches, and make better decisions when designing and improving our Salesforce solutions. The guidance helps reduce trial and error and improves our overall platform utilization.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Sometimes, the amount of available resources and information can be overwhelming, and it may take time to find the most relevant guidance for a specific situation. More personalized recommendations or examples based on different business scenarios would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us better understand how to maximize the value of the Salesforce platform. It provides guidance on best practices, product updates, and implementation approaches, helping us solve challenges around system optimization, user adoption, and building scalable solutions for our business processes.

 ### 13. Access to specialists that accelerates the learning curve and enhances complex projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**AI Translated:** This review has been translated from Portuguese using AI.

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The main value lies in access to specialists, best practices, and guidance based on experiences from different implementations. This helps accelerate the learning curve, anticipate challenges, and better leverage the platform's capabilities in more complex projects.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Service and recommendations may vary depending on the complexity of the project and the level of support contracted. In larger corporate environments, some demands require multiple interactions and different specialists, which can make resolution slower than expected.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps reduce difficulties in adopting and evolving the platform, providing guidance, best practices, and support to derive more value from the solutions. This benefits my work by accelerating decisions, reducing implementation risks, and supporting more effective use of available resources.

 ### 14. Unified Customer Health Visibility That Powers Proactive Retention

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishnu Vardhan N. | Clinical System Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I appreciate most is having a single, unified view of each customer's health, engagement, and history instead of piecing it together from multiple systems. The health scoring and early-warning indicators make it much easier to prioritize outreach toward at-risk accounts before they escalate into churn. It also integrates seamlessly with the broader Salesforce ecosystem, so customer success data flows naturally alongside sales and support context, giving the whole team a shared source of truth. The playbooks and automation for onboarding and renewals have also helped standardize how our CSMs operate, which has made our processes more consistent and easier to scale as the team grows.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The initial setup and configuration can be quite involved, especially when customizing health scores, playbooks, and workflows to match our specific customer success process it often requires dedicated admin resources or consulting support to get right. Pricing can also add up quickly as you scale users or add advanced modules, which makes it a bigger investment for smaller teams. Additionally, the sheer breadth of features and customization options creates a learning curve for new CSMs, who need time to get comfortable navigating the platform before they can use it efficiently. Reporting, while powerful, sometimes requires building custom dashboards to get the exact view we need, rather than having it readily available out of the box.

**Recommendations to others considering Salesforce Customer Success:**

Invest time upfront in mapping out your customer success process including health score criteria and playbook triggers before configuring the platform, so it reflects how your team actually works rather than a generic template. Plan for dedicated admin or consulting support during setup, as the flexibility that makes the platform powerful also means proper configuration takes real effort. It's also worth budgeting for the learning curve when onboarding new CSMs and building out custom reports early so your team has the visibility it needs from day one rather than discovering gaps later.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success has helped us centralize customer data and health metrics into a single view which has significantly improved our ability to spot at-risk accounts begore they churn. Previously, our customer success team relied on scattered spreadsheets and manual check-ins, making it hard to prioritize outreach proactively. With unified customer data, automated health scoring, and playbooks for renewals and onboarding, we have been able to standardize how our CSMs engage with accounts at each stage of customer lifecycle. This has led to faster experience times on renewal risks, more consistent onboarding experiences, and better visibility for leadership into overall account health across our book of business.

I like our bi-weekly meetings with our success team - they keep us up to date on new features or upcoming events we need to be aware of. We can ask questions and get access to resources that we need.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

There are some specifics to our products - Education Cloud - that are Success team aren’t 100% aware of, so sometimes it can take a bit longer to get answers about how things will impact us.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

They do not just explain product features; they provide practical, actionable best practices tailored to actual user operations. Their focus on user adoption and enablement makes it much easier to maximize the platform's value.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

While the Japan-specific "Success Navi" is excellent, the core official Help pages suffer from poor translations. This forces users to jump between multiple resources and portals to find accurate technical instructions.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The official Salesforce Help pages are often translated into difficult-to-understand Japanese, so the Japan-specific site "Success Navi" provided by the Japanese CSG is incredibly helpful. I strongly feel it should be promoted more to users. It provides all the necessary information, ranging from the fundamental purpose of SFA to details on the latest features.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I really like the instructor-led trainings provided by Salesforce Customer Success. They allow us to ask real-time questions, which has significantly helped us in building skills at a faster pace. I also find their better SLAs valuable, as well as the overall approach to preparing us for upcoming challenges and providing support for troubleshooting and SLAs.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I think the main thing I'd want to see is more instructor-led trainings, especially in person. Also, I believe there could be improvements with the SLAs.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Salesforce Customer Success to get ready for challenges, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions. We avoid running into problems post-implementation and benefit from real-time, instructor-led trainings that build our skills quickly.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like most about Salesforce Customer Success is the mix of expert guidance, learning resources, and hands-on support. It helps me quickly get up to speed on new Salesforce capabilities, troubleshoot issues as they come up, and apply best-practice solutions instead of having to figure everything out on my own. I also appreciate the emphasis on helping customers continuously improve their Salesforce implementation and get even more value from the platform over time.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The biggest challenge for me is that the available resources can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when I’m trying to pinpoint the most relevant guidance for a specific business scenario. In some cases, resolving an issue also means navigating across multiple resources or support channels before I get to a clear, actionable answer. A more streamlined, scenario-based approach—along with faster access to the right expert or recommendation—would make the overall experience even better.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps solve challenges around maximizing the value of the Salesforce platform, improving adoption, troubleshooting complex issues, and keeping teams aligned with Salesforce best practices. The combination of expert guidance, Trailhead resources, support, and product expertise helps reduce the time spent figuring out solutions independently and makes it easier to adopt new capabilities. For me, it has been particularly valuable when working through complex Salesforce functionality, learning new products such as Agentforce, and evaluating better ways to design and optimize solutions. It helps me resolve issues faster, build confidence in solution decisions, and continuously improve how we use Salesforce to support business processes and user adoption.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like best about Salesforce Customer Success is their proactive guidance and strategic partnership. Instead of just helping us troubleshoot technical issues, the CS team consistently provides actionable best practices and change-management frameworks that directly help us drive user adoption and maximize the ROI of our investment.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I dislike most is that the guidance can sometimes feel too generic or high-level. While the strategic frameworks are helpful, we often need more hands-on, tailored support for our specific business processes and complex technical configurations, rather than standard documentation or generic best-practice decks.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The CSM has been instrumental in helping us drive user adoption and align Salesforce capabilities with our key business goals.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The proactive guidance and access to best practices around org architecture and multi-brand scalability. It's been useful for validating our thinking before we commit resources to a full replication strategy, and having a knowledgeable partner to bounce ideas off of has made our discovery and planning phases move faster and with more confidence.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Response times and depth of guidance can be inconsistent depending on who you're connected with, and more tailored support for complex, multi-org scenarios like ours (evaluating a single-brand implementation for replication across a diverse portfolio) would go a long way. It would help to have more proactive check-ins rather than needing to initiate every conversation ourselves.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer Success has helped us navigate the complexity of evaluating whether our existing Salesforce implementation can scale across a portfolio of 20+ brands. As we work through architecture questions, permission sets, and integration points like Outlook-Salesforce, having access to guidance and best practices has shortened our learning curve significantly. This has been especially valuable given that not everyone on our stakeholder team comes from a Salesforce background, so having a trusted resource to validate our approach and de-risk decisions before we commit to a rollout strategy has saved us time and prevented costly missteps.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Trailhead and the Help documentation are excellent: well structured, free, and constantly updated with each release. Premier and Signature plans give access to Accelerators and Expert Coaching that are genuinely useful for clients who are starting on a new cloud. The Trailblazer Community is also a strong asset, since many questions get answered quickly by other experts, and release readiness content helps us prepare clients for the three yearly releases.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Standard support can be slow, and first-line agents often ask for information already provided or escalate simple issues, so complex cases take days to reach someone with deep product knowledge. Premier and Signature add real value but at a significant cost, usually a percentage of net license spend, which is hard to justify for mid-sized clients. As a partner, it is not always easy to open or follow cases on behalf of clients, and Customer Success Manager coverage varies a lot depending on account size.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an implementation partner, Salesforce Customer Success helps our clients and our team resolve platform issues and adopt new features after go-live. Support cases, Expert Coaching sessions and Accelerators give clients guidance on best practices without always needing extra consulting hours, and Trailhead makes onboarding of admins and end users much easier. This reduces the risk of low adoption and helps cl

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like best about Salesforce Customer Success is the focus on helping customers get long-term value rather than simply providing a product and leaving them to figure things out. The guidance, resources, and expertise available are useful when planning solutions or trying to improve existing processes. I also appreciate the emphasis on best practices and helping customers make informed decisions based on their specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

One area that could be improved is making it easier to identify the most relevant resources and guidance for a specific situation. There is a lot of information available, which can sometimes make it difficult to know where to start. A more personalized and streamlined way of navigating the available resources would make the experience even more useful, especially for organizations that are newer to the Salesforce ecosystem.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps address the challenge of getting the most value from the Salesforce ecosystem and navigating the different resources and capabilities available. The guidance and support make it easier to understand best practices, approach new initiatives, and work through challenges more effectively. This reduces the time spent trying to figure things out independently and provides more confidence when planning and implementing Salesforce-related activities.

What I like most is the guidance and support available to help us get more value from Salesforce. The best practices, resources, and expert recommendations make it easier to tackle challenges, improve adoption, and use the platform more effectively. It also helps our team stay aligned with Salesforce’s capabilities and get better results from the tools we already have.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

None at the moment. Everything they do/provide for us has been awesome. They are really helpful and want us to have the best experience on the platform as much as possible.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us get more value from Salesforce by providing guidance, best practices, and support when we need it. They are very proactive in getting us help when needed and engaging other technical teams to deep dive into problems and challenges our org. faces. It helps solve challenges around adoption, configuration, and maximizing the platform's capabilities. This saves time, improves user adoption, and helps our team use Salesforce more effectively to achieve business goals.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like most is the focus on post-implementation adoption and long-term value. When you are running a complex multi-cloud environment, simply turning the software on is only half the battle. Having a dedicated success contact provides a central point of review for architectural decisions, ensuring we are following best practices instead of building technical debt. The proactive guidance, hands-on architectural reviews, and the unified Customer Success Score are genuinely useful for identifying risks early before they become critical bottlenecks.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The biggest frustration is the support routing for deeply technical edge cases. While routine platform questions are handled quickly, getting connected to the right Subject Matter Expert for highly customized or newly released features often involves a lot of waiting. You can also occasionally get handed off to different specialists as an implementation progresses, which adds friction because you have to constantly re-explain your org's specific context. Finally, the upper-tier Premier and Signature plans are quite expensive to maintain year over year.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves is the gap between implementing Salesforce and actually realizing long-term business value from it. When multiple clouds, custom API integrations, and internal business processes have to work together, standard documentation is not always enough. Salesforce Customer Success brings product expertise and architectural guidance to our internal debates, helping us make clearer technical decisions. The biggest benefit is a reduction in guesswork and a much faster, smoother path to scaling our platform without breaking our existing data models.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like best about Salesforce Customer Success is the access to knowledgeable experts and practical best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem. The support goes beyond resolving individual issues and helps teams improve adoption, architecture, and overall use of the platform. I also value having guidance on new capabilities and recommended approaches, especially as Salesforce continues to evolve quickly.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I dislike most is that the level and depth of support can vary depending on the success plan, product area, and the expertise of the resources involved. For complex or highly specialized topics, it can sometimes take time to reach the right expert. It would be helpful to have more consistent access to deep product expertise and proactive guidance across all areas of the Salesforce platform.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps solve the challenge of getting the full value from a large and rapidly evolving platform. Access to product experts, best practices, learning resources, and technical support helps teams overcome implementation and operational challenges more quickly. This reduces the time spent researching issues independently, improves adoption and solution quality, and helps organizations make better use of new Salesforce capabilities as they become available.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I dislike most is that the learning curve can be steep at first, and the cost of premium success plans can be quite high for smaller or mid-sized organizations.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us address product adoption gaps and ensures our team fully utilizes the platform's features. **What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The main drawback is that the level of support can vary depending on the service and engagement model. Some resources can also feel broad or require additional effort to find guidance specific to a particular business need.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps address adoption, implementation, and ongoing optimization challenges by providing guidance, resources, and best practices. It helps me get more value from Salesforce, improve user adoption, and accelerate business outcomes.

They are quick and they do log into our site and try to help so they are on the same page.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I do not like that they just chalk it up to limitations. I feel with technology and how we are evolving there has to be a better solution to the smallest obstacles. I would prefer not to export reports and do a lot in excel. I would also prefer not to have limits on filters.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had some issues with how reports are joined; filters are created; and we haven't been able to resolve them. We have been going back and forth with the salesforce team- but I am baffled at the limitations that salesforce gives. And there hasn't been a solution. The only thing they have given us is that - salesforce has limitations and this is one of them.

Salesforce Customer Success provides valuable expertise, best practices, and proactive guidance that help us optimize our Salesforce environment, improve user adoption, and maximize ROI.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

My primary concern is that the value of Salesforce Customer Success can vary based on the level of engagement and available resources. While the strategic guidance is helpful, organizations may still need significant internal expertise to execute recommendations and drive adoption. More prescriptive guidance and measurable success benchmarks would further enhance the experience.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I use Salesforce Customer Success as a strategic partner throughout the full implementation lifecycle. As an architect and director of technology, the Customer Success team helps ensure clients get maximum value from their investment. I appreciate their proactive approach, particularly around Agentforce and the evolution of agentic AI. The quality of engagement at events like TDX 2026 genuinely reflects Salesforce's culture. The Premier and Signature Success Plans provide direct access to product and engineering, which is valuable for complex multi-cloud implementations. The Customer Success Manager relationship is key, providing quarterly business reviews and early visibility into relevant feature releases, making it genuinely valuable. What stands out most is the quality of the people—knowledgeable, curious, and invested in outcomes. Executive and technical briefings on product direction are invaluable, providing a genuine dialogue that speeds up strategic planning. The proactive roadmap guidance, particularly the Agentforce transition, showcases value by allowing early architectural planning. The team facilitates crucial support during implementations, like resolving a compliance issue in a Data Cloud project within 48 hours, avoiding potential long delays. Their people and guidance make the Customer Success program a genuine asset.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

More technical depth at the architect level for complex multi-cloud scenarios. The guidance can occasionally feel optimized for the median customer rather than for the edge cases. In multi-agent Agentforce architectures involving custom Apex invocable actions, Data Cloud real-time triggers, and cross-cloud orchestration, the Customer Success guidance tends to stay at the feature adoption level rather than the architectural design level.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Salesforce Customer Success to accelerate client adoption and align with platform changes, providing structured guidance post-implementation. It offers roadmap insights for informed client advisement and addresses adoption stalls with clear guidance.

One of my biggest frustrations has been the quality and accessibility of the documentation. When I hit an issue in the middle of a workflow—whether I’m troubleshooting an integration, trying to customize a view, or figuring out why a report isn’t pulling the right data—the help articles often read like they’re written for administrators or developers, not for the people using the platform day to day as sales reps. The wording is overly technical, the instructions assume a level of backend knowledge most AEs simply don’t have, and it’s not unusual to work through an entire guide only to realize it doesn’t apply to our specific setup or even our subscription tier.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us with rapid deployment in disaster relief by addressing technical complexity. The expert coaching and architectural review sessions eliminate trial and error, speeding up integration.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

The depth of technical expertise, direct access to product specialists, and structured guidance around governance and platform scalability are invaluable. They provide proactive recommendations that keep long-term maintenance overhead low.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Engagements can sometimes feel overly framework-heavy or generalized for standard setups, requiring additional effort to tailor recommendations to highly customized orgs or specific architectural edge cases.

**Recommendations to others considering Salesforce Customer Success:**

Clearly define your technical and business outcomes before engaging. Treat the team as strategic partners rather than hands-on implementers, and involve your internal architects early to get the most value from their advisement.

Salesforce Customer Success helps streamline complex enterprise architecture decisions, align technical roadmaps with business goals, and ensure best practices during large-scale deployments. It mitigates project risk and accelerates adoption across internal teams.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I value most is the proactive guidance and easy access to expertise. Having a Customer Success team that understands both the platform and our business context helps us move faster and avoid common pitfalls. Their recommendations are usually grounded in real-world use cases, and the enablement resources—such as best practices and release insights—are very helpful for staying up to date.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

At times, the response speed and follow-up can be inconsistent, particularly when the topic is more complex or technical. In addition, some recommendations come across as fairly generic and not always fully tailored to a specific business context. In certain situations, more hands-on and deeply technical guidance would make the overall experience even better.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us tackle challenges related to platform adoption, solution design, and long-term scalability. The team provides guidance on best practices, architectural decisions, and new features, which helps reduce rework and speed up delivery. Overall, this support has improved our implementation quality, kept our solutions aligned with business goals, and enabled us to make more informed technical decisions.

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

What I like most about Salesforce Customer Success is the structured and proactive approach to driving continuous value after initial delivery. Instead of focusing only on project completion, the engagement is centered on ongoing improvement, adoption, and measurable outcomes for clients.

A key strength is the ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations based on real usage patterns and evolving business needs. This helps identify gaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure that clients continue to mature their processes over time.

Another aspect I value is the consistency in the engagement model, which supports regular alignment and long-term planning rather than reactive support. This makes it easier to sustain client relationships and continuously improve the value delivered.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

One aspect that could be improved in Salesforce Customer Success is the level of depth in some of the recommendations, which can occasionally feel too high-level for more complex or mature client scenarios.

In practice, this means that additional effort is sometimes required to translate general guidance into more tailored, actionable plans for specific client needs. For teams managing multiple clients, this can slow down execution and require more internal effort to define detailed approaches.

More prescriptive, use case-driven guidance and practical frameworks would help accelerate decision-making and reduce the gap between strategic direction and execution.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us address the challenge of ensuring that our clients continuously adopt and evolve their use of the platform after implementation. Before that, even well-delivered projects could lose momentum over time, with limited follow-up, inconsistent optimization, and missed opportunities to improve processes.

What stands out is the structured approach to ongoing engagement, with clear guidance on how to identify gaps, prioritize improvements, and drive continuous value for clients. This includes regular alignment, practical recommendations, and a focus on measurable outcomes rather than just initial delivery.

As a result, we’ve been able to maintain stronger client relationships, improve long-term adoption, and ensure that the solutions delivered continue to generate value over time.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Customer Success?**

I like having access to Salesforce experts who can provide guidance, answer questions, and share best practices. The support and recommendations can be helpful when troubleshooting issues, planning changes, or trying to get more value from the Salesforce platform

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Sometimes the support can feel too general, especially for more complex or highly customized Salesforce environments. It may take multiple conversations or escalations to reach the right expert, which can slow down resolution for more technical issues

Investing in high-tier Salesforce Customer Success gives access to top-tier technical expertise, tailored architectural guidance, and proactive monitoring, which helps mitigate risk during large-scale deployments and drives platform adoption. From an employee perspective, working in Salesforce Customer Success offers industry-leading compensation, world-class internal resources, and strong career prestige.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Dedicated, high-touch CSM support is locked behind steep pricing tiers like Signature Success, making hands-on strategic help cost-prohibitive for smaller businesses. Additionally, Customer Success teams focus on high-level strategy rather than implementation work, meaning internal teams or external partners must still handle actual hands-on configuration.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low Platform Adoption & Shelfware Risk: Enterprise tools often go unused or underutilized if teams aren't properly onboarded, trained, or aligned on best practices.

I like having access to knowledgeable Salesforce resources when we encounter complex issues or need additional guidance. It is especially helpful as an administrator to have another resource for troubleshooting, best practices, and understanding new or changing Salesforce functionality.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Customer Success?**

Response times can sometimes be slower than expected, especially for issues that require escalation. It can also take some back and forth to get beyond basic troubleshooting and reach the right resource for more complex or organization-specific issues.

**What problems is Salesforce Customer Success solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Customer Success helps us resolve technical issues, understand platform functionality, and get guidance on more complex Salesforce questions. Having access to Salesforce expertise helps reduce troubleshooting time and gives us additional resources when issues cannot easily be resolved internally.

One limitation of Salesforce Customer Success is that the level of support and engagement can vary depending on account size, region, or subscription tier, which may lead to inconsistent experiences for some customers. In some cases, guidance can also feel more standardized rather than deeply tailored to complex or highly specialized business environments.
