**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SILVIA G. | eCommerce Activations & Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

A very comprehensive solution that facilitates internal and external management, significantly improving collaboration between teams and clients. Its rapid implementation and integration through connectors allows processes to be accelerated from the very beginning. Additionally, it has excellent technical support, always efficient and decisive, and its continuous evolution with artificial intelligence features makes it an innovative, flexible tool ready for the current business challenges.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

So far, we have not had the opportunity to take advantage of all the functionalities and possibilities that Sales Layer offers in all areas of our business. Therefore, we currently cannot highlight any negative aspects of the tool, as our experience has been positive and we are still discovering all its potential.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer has effectively solved the challenges related to the management and flow of information within the organization. It has improved integration and collaboration between departments, allowing all teams to work with updated and consistent data in real time. Additionally, it facilitates quick and centralized access to the information in our product catalog, becoming a single source of truth for both internal teams and external customers and partners. This has allowed for increased operational efficiency, reduced errors, and improved the quality of information across all channels.

 ### 2. Sales Layer replacing Excel nightmare

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pär G. | Marknads- och säljansvarig, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

When we reached 1000 products in our webshop, Excel became a nightmare as a database. Sales Layer solved the problem. It can be configured without external consultants and gives us complete freedom to manage product information for export to the website and ERP system. User profiles make it easier for sales and administrative staff to focus on their areas of responsibility. Sale Layer also has very good support and nice employees.

We are totally happy with Sales Layer.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

It would be great to have a supplier log in so they can update prices and other information. This can be done by setting up a user profile, but it will still be a bit too complicated for some. The Excel import works fine, but it would be a great improvement of column designations could be stored under a name. These are minor issues, not a deal breaker.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Price calculation that is based on supplier currency, exchange rate and our settings for margin and freight on a daily basis
Batch settings for web and ERP such as VAT-code, visibility, product group, supplier data and much more.
Easy to use for product managers and sales engineers for editing
Much faster, flexible and more reliable compared to Excel.

 ### 3. Sales Layer centralizes the catalog with integrations, AI, and a very smooth experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavlo K. | eCommerce Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer centralizes all product information on a single platform, making it easier to access updated and consistent data. Its ease of use, integrations with other tools, and collaborative workflows help optimize processes, improve team coordination, and reduce errors. Additionally, technical support and AI functionalities bring more agility and efficiency to catalog management, making daily work smoother and more organized.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

It would be beneficial to have more customization options for the environment to better adapt it to the internal preferences and needs of each team.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer solves one of the biggest challenges in product management: having all the information organized, updated, and accessible to everyone. It facilitates teamwork, reduces errors, streamlines processes, and ensures that everyone works with the same information in real time.

 ### 4. The PIM that finally got us out of Excel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer is intuitive. As a senior product and sales advisor I’m not the one administering it —
and that is exactly the strength: when I need something changed, the PIM administrator can add,
remove, and modify data fields, layout, price calculations, attributes, or taxonomy in a snap,
sometimes on the fly. With the WooCommerce integration our webshop stays up to date
automatically; what goes into Sales Layer is live by late the next morning. The difference from
trying to run a product database in Excel is hard to overstate.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Nothing I dislike explicitly. I don’t see the calculated price inside the PIM because we calculate it in
the export connector — but that is a PIM-admin choice, not a limitation of the product.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time to market for new products. Product updates, including prices, are quick and easy. We have
completely eliminated copy-paste and product management in Excel, which never worked well. I
can focus on customers instead of wrestling with spreadsheets

 ### 5. Sales Layer: a powerful, intuitive, and future-ready platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** federico a. | CRM Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer is a very comprehensive solution that centralizes product information, improves collaboration between teams, and facilitates integrations with other tools. Its ease of use, excellent technical support, and incorporation of AI functionalities make it an efficient, innovative platform ready for the current business needs.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Some advanced features require learning time to make the most of them.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer has allowed us to centralize and manage all product information efficiently, facilitating collaboration between teams and ensuring that everyone works with up-to-date data in real time. Thanks to its role as a single source of information, it optimizes catalog management, minimizes errors, and ensures data consistency for both internal and external users.

 ### 6. Perfect integration, easy use, and powerful handling of massive data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josep Mª P. | Responsable de Transformación Digital, Logistics and Supply Chain, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

They highlight the ease of use, flexibility, and remarkable ability to integrate with third-party applications and the company's own systems.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sometimes the web operation is somewhat slow when enriching the data product by product, but that improves significantly thanks to the good handling of Excel files, which allow working with massive data and importing them into a file.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From our department, we manage more than 140,000 products used in B2B eCommerce platforms, electronic magazines created with Adobe InDesign, Punchout catalogs, etc. With this volume of information and images, we also have to collaborate with external teams to help us enrich the content and photographs, and all of this would be very difficult without a tool like Sales Layer.

 ### 7. Intuitive, Great Value, and Excellent Support with Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

System is intuitive, value for money and the support is excellant. We have been able to integrate with our other platform where required and performance and uptime has been great.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

The main limitation is lack of a data dictionary to better define what fields should be used for (For our end users) and the ability to easily view all fields in the system in one place.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing an easy to use/update interface between product marketing and our ERP / Website.

 ### 8. Effortless Image Management for over 2000 products

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe M. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

I like how easy it is to upload product images to Sales Layer. From the start to finish the upload process is easy, quick and very user friendly. The customer support is top tier when ever you need help with any questions you have. I use Sales Layer everyday to manage our images for products and it is a lifeline of our business. The number of features that we can use are incredible from the use of uploading videos to adding which model is being used for which product.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

At times, the synchronization process between Dropbox and Sales Layer can experience slow loading times.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer is addressing several issues for us, from ensuring that we have up-to-date images for thousands of products with its easy to use upload and overwrite system to making certain that our products display images in the correct order as we want to display them. The convenient feature that allows us to move images around has been especially helpful.

 ### 9. Intuitive platform with agile integration and omnichannel management in multiple languages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo F. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Business Supplies and Equipment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

It is an extremely intuitive platform with a user-friendly visual interface. Its usability is really good. Its integration with other platforms or connectors is agile and smooth. It allows managing products in an omnichannel way, enabling management in multiple languages and marketplaces.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

The integration became a bit complicated due to the previous management of the products and having poorly consolidated data in our system.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows managing products in a much more agile way. Being able to include product information without the need for a tedious and repetitive process, which allows optimizing work times, greatly improving worker performance and therefore the profitability of the company.

 ### 10. Robust and user-friendly, though complex integrations still need expert work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Facundo O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

After using the platform for several years, I value the stability and scalability. We have increased our SKU count significantly since 2023, and the performance remains solid. Our trust in the platform is such that we have expanded our contract to include a new environment for another brand.
They also keep innovating; they are already rolling out AI capabilities that speed up processes for our product analysts.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

As started in 2023, the connector ecosystem (especially for Adobe Commerce/Magento) is good but not effortless for custom builds (we had to rely on third-party developers to create a better solution). Additionally, pricing models and tiers could be more flexible for long-term customers with growing databases.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The PIM allows us to centralize the information, to be able to do historical monitoring, have an image library and quickly generate media catalogs for our clients, easily and quickly.

 ### 11. Fantastic PIM and single source of truth for our catalogue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter L. | VP Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

The interface is very intuitive compared to other PIM systems. I really appreciate the 'Quality Score' feature, which highlights exactly where product data is missing or needs improvement. It makes onboarding new team members very easy because the learning curve is quite flat. Their customer support team is also very responsive and helpful via chat.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

While the standard connectors are great, setting up highly complex, custom exports can sometimes be a bit tricky without technical knowledge. Occasionally, the bulk edit feature can be a little slow when processing very large datasets, but it's not a dealbreaker.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are moving away from managing product data in chaotic Excel spreadsheets. Sales Layer acts as our 'Single Source of Truth.' The main benefit is the time we save; we can now update product specs across all our channels (website, marketplaces, catalogs) simultaneously without worrying about data discrepancies.

 ### 12. Effortless Product Management with Sales Layer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara B. | e-Commerce Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer platform is intuitive from the first moment of use, not requiring long hours of training; it is very easy and quick to update all products, categories and filters, in just a few simple clicks. The update to our website runs smoothly, with no issues. Easy, quick and efficient for everyday use!

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Honestly nothing in terms of usage, it works very smoothly for everyday updates. Maybe the limitations in number of users and channels can be challenging for a large company if you choose a less expensive package.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer allows a simple and effortless integration between our internal systems and websites. It is the integrator platform of all product and category content and allows us to easily update all information in just a few clicks in just one place. It is a trustworthy platform with no integration issues.

 ### 13. Easy to Learn, Fast Product Updates That Feel Worth It

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan H. | Webshopmanager Babypark.nl | Babypark.de | IKenIK.nl, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

It's easy to understand the system and very handy and fast to update / modify your products.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

It's not cheap. But at the other hand; it's worth!

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Modify lot's of products very fast!

 ### 14. Very happy with the user experience. It is a great solution.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordi J. | CCTV Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

The ability to handle large volumes of information easily and to collaborate on projects with different teams and colleagues across the company, leading to higher productivity.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

At the beginning it is a bit hard to learn, but it gets easier as you use it more. This is normal because the platform has many features, so the time spent learning it is worthwhile.

**Recommendations to others considering Sales Layer PIM:**

It's a good enterprise solution that will save a lot of costs in project implementation.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to manage the product database and to update the website automatically. Several colleagues can work on the same product at the same time, which makes teamwork more efficient. With this solution, everything is simpler and it saves a lot of time in the end.

 ### 15. Quick and easy data management.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto L. | Product Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

After several years of working with this program, it has a quick learning curve, allowing me to manage information quickly. The constant improvements made allow us to progress very fast.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Right now I am exploring all the possibilities that I can implement in future stages, and the opportunities are fantastic. It would help to have a more efficient search tool that can search inside the files.

**Recommendations to others considering Sales Layer PIM:**

Fast upload of changes and data. It is easy to use and control.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem was controlling and updating data; it had been prolonged and tedious in the past. The main benefit is the lower use of resources and their automation.
Now I can keep all kinds of data within one unique place, improving the efficiency of the tasks.

 ### 16. Time-saving platfform, now even more with AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergio B. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Having a single source of data for the entire product ecosystem from which to send to other channels: website, catalogs, rates, third-party websites, etc.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

The way images and documents are stored. I would like to be able to organize them into folders.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I value most about SalesLayer is the ability to centralize and structure all product information in a single environment, making it easy to generate and distribute constantly updated content to multiple channels. This helps us avoid errors, duplication, and saves us a lot of time. Besides, with the recent addition of AI agents to Sales Layer plattform, we save even more time since tasks like text translation are now automated.

 ### 17. Unified catalog and practicality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Textiles | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

With the latest updates that PIM has received, integration with other tools has become much easier. In our business, the improvement implemented for uploading images simply by dragging them into the PIM has greatly simplified our product update process. Additionally, I consider it important to highlight the excellent support provided by the support team.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Currently, the search bar has a limitation on the number of characters allowed, which makes it a bit difficult to perform updates or bulk downloads of information. It would be ideal to expand this field to enable more agile searches. Additionally, we would like to have the option to view the upload date of an image in the system somewhere, as this information would help us identify if the image already has the adjustments or style of the new season.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us structure product creation and set up workflows, allowing us to have a comprehensive view of our catalog, making the creation and editing of products much easier and dynamic. On the other hand, it allows us to centralize the flow of information to other tools such as OMS, WMS, instant catalogs, etc.

 ### 18. Effortless Product Management and Seamless Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Our experience with Sales Layer has been consistently positive. The platform is intuitive and easy to adopt, making it simple to centralize and manage all our product information in one place. Its automation features have helped us reduce manual work, avoid errors, and keep our data always up to date across multiple channels. We also appreciated how quickly we could sync product content with the website, ecommerce platforms, and catalogs.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Some advanced configurations require a learning curve, and certain customizations may rely on technical support. Additionally, the reporting and analytics options could be more robust for teams that need deeper insights into data quality or workflow performance.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer PIM has solved one of our biggest challenges: keeping our product data consistent and up to date across all channels, especially our website. The connection with our site is seamless, allowing us to upload products, update attributes, and make changes instantly and simultaneously. Tasks that used to take hours now take minutes thanks to the platform’s automation and speed. Overall, Sales Layer has streamlined our workflow, reduced manual errors, and made managing product information much more efficient.

 ### 19. From Excel chaos to punch-out catalogs in days

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teresa D. | Gerente general, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

When we first had to set up a punch-out catalog in SAP Ariba for one of the biggest companies in the facilities sector, we honestly had no idea where to start. Sales Layer made it all super easy from day one.

Now creating and updating catalogs is no longer a headache. With their system everything is in one place, always up to date, and we don’t have to bother IT every time we need a change. Even some updates connect directly with our ERP, so a lot of those little manual tasks we used to do are now done automatically — which saves us loads of time.

But what really makes the difference is the people. They don’t just support us, they even talk directly with our clients when needed, which makes everything so much easier. And I have to mention Marina: she’s been amazing, always finding time for us, always patient, and never minding if we need something explained again.

We went from weeks of struggling with Excel to having punch-out catalogs ready in just a few days. For us, Sales Layer isn’t just software, it feels like having a team on our side that genuinely makes our job easier and helps us keep our clients happy.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

At the beginning it took us a little time to get familiar with the tool, but with Marina and the team’s help we quickly had everything under control.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we spent way too much time updating catalogs manually in Excel and we relied on IT for almost everything.
With Sales Layer, our catalogs are always up to date, centralized in one place, and we can set up SAP Ariba punch-outs in just a few days.
This saves us time, avoids mistakes, and helps us give a much better service to our clients.

 ### 20. Easy, flexible and friendly PIM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco G. | Director of Supply Chain Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer PIM has helped us organize our product catalog in a centralized and easy-to-update way. It has also allowed us to build an e-commerce platform where customers can easily check stock availability, technical datasheets, and commercial conditions all in one place. This has significantly improved our customers’ experience, and adoption is increasing every day.”

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

So far, our experience has been very positive, but we have found a couple of limitations. Some customizations were not possible, and currently catalog access is limited to a generic password rather than individual user logins. That said, we believe these aspects can be improved with the support team over time.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer PIM has centralized our product information and made it easy to update, saving us time and reducing errors. By connecting with our e-commerce, it gives customers instant access to stock, datasheets, and commercial conditions, which has greatly improved their experience.”

 ### 21. Essential tool for organizing our product catalogs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anabel S. | SEO, Analytics and Affiliation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer is undoubtedly a key tool in our daily operations as it has allowed us to centralize all the information from different product catalogs in one place, with a level of organization and flexibility that we did not have before. Now we manage all our catalogs easily from a single platform, which gives us greater control over the available product, reduces errors, and greatly simplifies the update process.

Furthermore, the ability to have enriched content, from images to descriptions and customized attributes, always updated, helps us optimize digital marketing campaigns and improve the positioning of our products in different sales channels.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

In general, we are quite satisfied with Sales Layer, our experience has always been good and it has helped us improve and simplify our management with product catalogs. There are always small details that could be improved, but none have negatively affected our experience.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer has especially simplified our product information management processes. Before, we worked with scattered data in different files, which forced us to do a lot of manual work that ended up generating errors and duplications. Now with Sales Layer, we can automate processes that were previously completely manual, saving time and improving the efficiency of the entire team.

 ### 22. Effortless Product Management with Intuitive Visual Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorna c. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales layer is very easy to use and is very easy to uploads files/photos. I like the way it is very visual so you can see the products/ information quickly.
I also like the fact it is very easy to download information to Excel and you can select what information you need so you don't have to sort through huge Excel reports.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sometimes it can be difficult getting information from the variant rather than the product ( if you don't know where the information is ). Once you know where to look its not a issue you just have to remember to go into the variant.
You also have to run a variant and product report to get all of the information.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales layer is helping with our integration project enabling information to be viewed and sent quickly to our other office.

 ### 23. Excellent, functional PIM (used for 3 years to date)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

The team at Sales Layer have made numerous improvements and added new features over the past 2x years that have enhanced the platform.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

The only thing that some of our users find frustrating is the option to change the default language for content (translations) - we have teams responsible for the translated content that have to navigate to this (as the master/default is English) rather than view just the local/translated content.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single source of truth for product data.
Easy way to export & provide consistent product data for our distribution partners.
Connect to our website to have conssitent product data live always.

 ### 24. Platform with a lot of potential

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Albert P. | Golmar, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Easy to use
Agile
Number of options
Design
Attentive and always willing to listen to suggestions and aspects that can improve the platform according to the company's needs.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

It would be good to organize a bit the topic of groups or characteristics of each product since at first it seems a bit cumbersome.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I experience the most is the order regarding the products we have in the company. Well distributed and in one place, something that we previously had more divided. Likewise, from the clients' perspective, it's going great for us since we can make the rates, reports, etc., much easier.

 ### 25. Our production information distribution became more efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer helped us create one source of truth for our products. It is a user friendly catalogue management software.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer’s search functions can sometimes feel limited, as not all fields are indexed by default. There is a workaround using advanced search functions, but it would still be great to have a more intuitive search experience as the catalogue grows in size.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer helped us move from Excel workbooks to a structured and user-friendly catalogue that integrates seamlessly with our print catalogue software and e-commerce site. The knowledge base and customer support have been invaluable, making catalogue automation and our e-commerce setup straightforward. It has also proven easy for our sales team to use when customers ask technical questions about specific SKUs. It’s now an essential tool in our organisation which is used on a daily basis.

 ### 26. Product management, easy and simple to handle.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos T. | IT Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

What I liked most about the platform was how easy it is to manage products, make modifications, organize them into categories, and take advantage of the various available options. However, what I highlight the most is the way product data is presented and visualized.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

There was nothing that I disliked. Everything seemed very good to me.

**Recommendations to others considering Sales Layer PIM:**

The ideal is to categorize as much as possible.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I liked the way the products are categorized, as well as the organization and the different classifications they present.

 ### 27. Effortless Product Data Management and Seamless Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

I appreciate how Sales Layer keeps product data organized and consistent across all our channels. The interface is clear, updates sync quickly, and it saves a lot of time in our daily workflow. It also makes teamwork smoother because everyone works from the same reliable source.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

I don’t really dislike anything major, though I sometimes notice that bulk image updates take a moment to process. It’s not a dealbreaker, but faster handling of large datasets would make the workflow even smoother.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes all product data in one controlled environment, which eliminates conflicting information across channels. It also cuts down manual corrections because updates flow reliably to every platform. This gives us tighter data governance, fewer publishing errors and a much faster time-to-market for new products.

 ### 28. Outstanding Experience with This Software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kinza L. | Wholesale Manger, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

This platform is extremely easy to use, and the features it offers are great
It’s very intuitive, making it easy to pick up and start using right away.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

We have had no issues so far, and any questions or queries are always handled swiftly. The explanations provided are always clear and informative.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all of our data consolidated in one place is Invaluable. It ensures that anyone who needs access can find everything easily in a single location.

 ### 29. Sales Layer (PIM)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James A. | Head of Product and Purchasing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

A superb platform, easy to use and navigate but also a great way to consolidate all product information. Would happily encourage other businesses to adopt as its the best PIM i've worked on

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Exporting data can be confusing and cumbersome on occasions

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All product information is centralised and is linked to our website, documentation, customer platforms etc so. Anything therefore that needs updating is simply changed in sales layer and not multiple locations

 ### 30. Simple, Intuitive Interface That’s Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mishrilal G. | Technical Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sales Layer PIM has a simple, user-friendly interface that feels highly intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Performance can be slow with large data sets, and in some cases the documentation isn’t sufficient.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time-to-market is slow, and multi-channel syndication is overly complex for manufacturers like us

 ### 31. Clear and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David E. | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

The interface is fast and easy to understand. It allowed us to centralize all product information in one place. From a data engineer perspective, I value the simple CSV exports, which make it easy to feed our internal systems without complex processes. Automation of repetitive tasks also saves time in daily operations.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

More native connectors with specific tools would be useful. Still, the available API and exports cover the needs and make data integration effective, so it is not a real obstacle.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, product information was fragmented across different teams and formats. Now everything is centralized and consistent in one place. This makes integration with our reporting system much easier and ensures everyone works with the same data.

 ### 32. A complete and easy-to-use PIM for daily use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iker O. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

We've been using Sales Layer PIM in the team for a while now and the experience has been quite positive. What we value the most is the ease of use: the interface is quite intuitive and there's no need for a huge manual to understand how to manage the catalogs. The implementation wasn't as complex as we thought either; within a few weeks, we had it up and running with our workflows.

The customer support deserves a special mention because the times we've needed help, they've responded quickly and with clear solutions, not just textbook answers. As for frequency of use, we use it practically daily to keep product information updated across different channels, and that's where its value is evident.

Regarding features, it offers quite a few more than we use on a daily basis, but it's nice to have that flexibility for when it's needed. And on the integration side, connecting with other tools hasn't given us headaches; it has been relatively easy to link it with what we already had set up.

In summary: it's not a perfect tool, but it has greatly helped us centralize and maintain product information, and that already saves us a lot of time and errors.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

The only thing we sometimes miss is greater flexibility in customizing views and reports, and for the documentation to cover more practical cases. It's not something that prevents us from using it, but it would be a good point for improvement.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer PIM has mainly helped us to centralize all product information in one place. Before, we worked with spreadsheets and different systems, which generated duplicates, errors, and a lot of time lost in manual updates. With the PIM, we can now keep information consistent and updated across all sales channels without having to review everything multiple times.

Another problem it has solved for us is the dispersion of data among teams. Now marketing, sales, and e-commerce work on the same base, which avoids confusion and speeds up the launch of new products. Additionally, integrations with other platforms allow us to publish changes much faster and reduce time to market.

In summary, the clearest benefit is that we have gained efficiency, saved time, and reduced errors, which ultimately translates into better catalog control and a more consistent experience for the customer.

 ### 33. Easy & Productive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

It is easy to use and facilitates agile distribution of products.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Nothing, it has all the functionality that is required.

**Recommendations to others considering Sales Layer PIM:**

Sales Layer is an easy-to-implement software that allows you to integrate all product information and distribute it. It is very easy to use and works very well.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The decentralization of product information.
We have managed to combine all the information in a single platform.

 ### 34. Friendly User Interface and fantastic support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

User friendly interface, impressed with how Sales Layer take on customer feedback and add suggestions onto roadmaps to make useful improvements. Support and communication has also been fantastic from Gwenan our Customer Success Manager.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

One area that would make the Sales Layer experience better would be the ability to set focal points for imagery cropping, which would help ensure visuals are always framed correctly.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data was all previous in various different data bases and in our ERP, Sales Layer has now given us the opportunity to have all of our data in one place as a central source of information. Much easier and faster to answer queries that would have previously involved different exports and mapping. The quality score feature has also shown us how much of our data was actually missing and is helping us improve those areas.

 ### 35. All-in-One Product Info Hub with Seamless Access and Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liliana M. | Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

All product information in one place
Easy acess to information, editing and exporting
Constant updates and improvements
Content quality report

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

- Some improvements should be made in the editing product page, as once we save the information, we remain in the same page;
- Editing fields could be easier

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Correcting and updating product info to keep customers well informed
Efficent plaftorm allows me to focus on other important issues

 ### 36. Exactly what we were looking for

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego B. | Data Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

What we value most about Sales Layer PIM is its flexibility. We customize products and variants, add photos, and create custom attributes with value limits. This helps us align different teams and ensures we all speak the same language.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

We have occasionally had issues with the URLs it generates internally to store photos when exporting this information.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Sales Layer PIM, we didn’t have any system to unify our product catalog with all its properties and features. Each team kept its own version, often manually, and this caused data discrepancies and duplicated work since several teams had to maintain their catalog version.

 ### 37. Such a fascinating way to manage my catalogs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben G. | Catalogue Manager Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

The way that it can be managed through excel and its friendly interface

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

It may be quite complicated at first, but once you’ve used the program for a time, it gets easier

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adding as many products as I want to my catalog

 ### 38. Good Features, But Not the Most Intuitive for all users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

Good to create extensive catalogues. It’s great that the program can be fully customised and adjusted, allowing you to make an optimal catalogue that remains adaptable for a wide range of assortments.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Not quite intuitive for all users, the quality report is not sophisticated enough to provide accurate information.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem SalesLayer PIM solves is ensuring that product information stays up to date and allowing you to quickly create new items, exactly what a PIM is designed for.

 ### 39. A detailed yet flexible system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

We were shown a demo of a PDF export but it was very basic

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Better integration of branded PDF exports for product information. This would overcome a major shortcoming.

Also better and easier way of seeing/accessing multiple languages.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single source of information.

 ### 40. Saleslayer is amazing for our business.

It an all-in-one. No more use of multiple softwares to organise our products.

 ### 41. Exceptionally User-Friendly and Intuitive

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

I find it to be extremely user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Personally, I don't have any dislikes regarding what I use it for, so I'm not entirely sure if there are any.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the product information is conveniently gathered in a single location.

 ### 42. Great Product Organization and Bulk Uploads, but Needs Better Report Page Breaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David R. | product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

I like the organization and quick visualization of products by category. Also, the ability to make changes and bulk uploads.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

I would like that when creating a report on the fly, page breaks can be made, so that the data of the same section can stay between one page and another.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have all the information about all the products in one place

 ### 43. Good experience working with Sales Layer and many possibilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael L. | Gestión de eCommerce & Pricing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

The organization that allows you to have and the reports it provides in relation to the product, the number of fields, and the useful output channels both for B2B and for the products we want to upload to different Marketplaces.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Difficult to organize at first due to all the possibilities it offers

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not encountered many problems, and any questions that have arisen have been resolved by the prompt attention they provide.

 ### 44. Useful Tool to Centralize and Enrich Data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

It is a very useful tool for enriching your master article data and a good way to share unique and centralized information across different data information channels.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

It is quite laborious and its format is not very intuitive. The cost in some aspects is high.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The centrality of data. Perfect for avoiding duplications in the company and outdated data.

 ### 45. Powerful and reliable tool for product information management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica Dominguez . | Técnica- funcional especialista en ecommerce, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

What we value most about Sales Layer is how well it allows us to organize all the information about our products. The system's structure is clear and flexible, which makes it easy to keep the data updated, consistent, and accessible for the entire team. The platform is intuitive and allows you to make changes very quickly, which is especially useful when managing a large catalog.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Now that we use forms, it has become a bit more complicated for us to extract information. Especially for the staff who do not regularly work with the Sales Layer.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the most unsettling thing is when you work in table format and sometimes dragging changes data unintentionally.

 ### 46. Intuitive management of products and catalogs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica D. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

What I value most about SalesLayer is how intuitive it is for managing products, variants, complex tables, and especially the additional tools like Instant Catalogue, which allows you to generate a technical sheet instantly with updated data.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

I think Instant Catalogue still lacks features to be able to project high-quality photos in PDF documents.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to structure all the information in a coherent and organized manner, as well as to work with multiple users on the platform. It allows us to be efficient and save on reprocessing costs.

 ### 47. Easy and complete

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Nothing really. I can't think of any feature that's been causing me problems.

 ### 49. Fast and Easy, But Lacks API Integration
