I find that Saleslayer is user-friendly and easy to use. As someone who has no experience with other PIMs, this is very important. It could be customized to our needs, making it versatile.

We did have some synchronization issues with images, but the customer support was quick to assist us.

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

From typical dimensions we would use for rating a specific PIM implementation  (graphical and textual user interface and experience/ease of use, data analytics, connectivity and data integration, multi-channel capabilities, data governance as well as scalability and performance, customer support), Sales Layer's multi-channel capabilities, as well as it's connectivity and data integration capabilities I definitely do like best.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

There is hardly anything we are disliking to be honest as prior mentioned rating dimensions do range from 3.9 to 4.9 on a scale from 0 to 10. 

Though, if we were to mandatorily pick one, I would go with the data analytics capabilities due to, from my opinion and experience, a light lack of advanced data analytical capabilities. To be specific, for instance native business intelligence capabilities could be enhanced more. 

Due to that, I would only give a 3.9 on said scale and thus pick the data analytics dimension as the one I dislike the most.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer's PIM preliminary helps us with the following:

- Generally, providing a single source of truth used on top of and integrated with our ERP in terms of product information for an pharmaceutical assortment of 2200 SKUs, which are sold in more than 86 countries worldwide by 13 of our companies 
- Pushing/updating/removing the required SKU's as well as their product information to/from our (monolingual as well as bilingual) 17 websites in realtime 
- Providing local customer support departments with realtime and easy-to-use product catalogs 
- Providing local marketing departments with an efficient and easy-to-use data entry point for their respective website(s) 
- Providing local sales reps as well as account managers the option to export the required product information tailored for specific B2B clients with a few clicks
- Providing different, global colleagues with the option to efficiently assure data quality and govern/supervise data entries and modificiations efficiently

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

We use Sales Layer to centralize all product information at the Marketing level. We connect the PIM information to our website and to the InDesign plugin called Easy Catalogue. Since we started designing the catalog this way, the department's productivity has doubled. In the same amount of time it used to take to design one catalog, we can now create four versions of that same catalog in different languages.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

I would like it to be easier to undo potential modifications made to a product. At the very least, have 10 actions recorded in a history log that can be undone. 
Another point I believe could be improved is the updating or importing of data generated within the connectors themselves. Sometimes we make changes and have to wait more than 20 minutes before we can export the Excel file with the updated data again.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed us to stop doing repetitive tasks that added no value to the department. Additionally, the error rate in creating catalogs and websites has significantly decreased. 
We have been able to standardize the criteria for product technical descriptions, instead of setting each description on a product-by-product basis.

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

The great advantage we have observed is the ease of implementing a complete and powerful tool to meet the needs of the current market. The technical support offered by Sales Layer allows you to resolve any indictment you may have in a very short period of time. Thanks to their tool we have improved our relationship with our customers. One of the great advantages of the Sales Layer is the possibility of generating the content of the catalog through Microsoft Excel, which allows any user to create a complete and effective catalog.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

In our opinion we do not see any disadvantages of use.  Our experience with Sales Layer is very positive.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our best customers was asking us to implement a tool where they could process their orders and have them come directly to us. In turn, they needed this tool to be intuitive, easy to use, organized, and complete for their needs. All these characteristics are fully covered with Sales Layer that have given us a very competitive tool to be able to advance and modernize the relationships with our customers. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that the content of the Catalog could be generated through a simple data table. For the entire creation process you always have the help of the Sales Layer staff.

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

One of the things I like most about the platform is its usability and the strong intuitive component it has in its operation. So that anyone with minimal knowledge can quickly master the tool. And on the other hand, speaking about working with the tool itself, it makes processing thousands of data very simple, which greatly speeds up all the daily work and the enrichment of the product's information.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Some of the things I don't like or that could be improved would be a customization of the platform according to each client, to adapt the tool to the needs of each one. On the other hand, some of the internal functionalities of Sales Layer have somewhat strict logics; it would be an improvement to be able to implement more comprehensive logics or based on more criteria.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had some issues with the implementation of our image and file library, partly due to the somewhat strict criteria of the platform. But after some testing, I believe we have found the key to interpreting our logic and translating it so that Sales Layer can process the information in the order we need.

Among its advantages, we could mention:

The PIM focuses more on working with products rather than variants, which is how we actually work in our case. We hope for an update with all our suggestions, which have always been addressed when we needed them.

Apart from what has already been mentioned, it would be beneficial if the data updates were faster, as currently the export of the Excel takes quite a while to update with the large amount of information we handle.

Sales Layer as a database gives us the option to gather all our information easily in one location. This makes sure that we all have access to the same information, without content getting lost. 

From setting up products to managing online content, everything feels very intuitive. 

The connections to other platforms have made our lives a lot easier and save so much time. Incredibly user friendly.

Setting up the for the first time takes a bit of preparation, but it's very worth it putting the effort in.

Keeping online content and product assortment in one central location, so that everyone has access to the same information. 
Connecting to other platforms to automatically share content, making sure we don't have to manually put information in multiple times.

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

I use Sales Layer daily and I have used other PIMs in the past, but Sales Layer has been the most powerful in regards to large exports and imports. Even full exports of all SKUs and all attributes only take a few seconds to download. I also like how in the Excel/CSV import the data can just be copied from a spreadsheet, rather than having to save a file to upload every time. This greatly reduces clutter of temporary files being saved. Also, our Customer Success Manager is very responsive and helpful. If something is outside of her expertise, she quickly gets me in contact with someone who can help, whether it is one of her colleagues or a partner of theirs that helps with third party connectors.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

One thing that would be helpful is if attribute fields within Sales Layer could be dynamic using the same formulas the Channels can use. It is my understanding that this feature could be coming in the future, but is not yet.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Layer is acting as a single source of truth for our products, which our company had lacked in the past. Teams from across the company are starting to understand that anything relevant to products should be stored in Sales Layer instead of being scattered across many storage locations, each owned by different teams.

The user experience in Sales Layer PIM is exceptionally easy to use and implement for our business.  We use it weekly to easily obtain information for our customers and for internal use as well.  The integrations with other platforms such as Shopify and Easy Catalog are a great bonus.  The customer support team is fantastic and is always checking in with us to make sure we have what we need.  I would highly recommend Sales Layer PIM to anyone looking for this fuctionality in their business.

Folders for images are limited to 200, which for a complex business may not be enough, but there are workarounds.

Obtaining information all in one place that is easy to access and organize.  Before all of our information was stored in random spreadsheets and an ERP system that is not user friendly.

How it speeds up the product information management process, making it reliable and allows multiple audiences to query the catalog with no hazzle. The UI is very intuitive and you can build calculated fields to match your different product information requirements. For example: sales ratings for multiple channels, pricing per differente markets, etc.. etc.. It's also very easy to integrate, you can squeeze the value of Sales Layer with all the funtionalities it offers.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

The product hierarchy, it was so difficult for me but I have to say that the training made me understand it and now is very intuitive, I just had to change the way I was used to do it (wrongly).

Centralyzing all the information, making it reliable and hazzle free... it used to take us like five different spreadsheet with pictures and one person practically married to those auxiliaries... now it is a simple task that allows all different information consumers to have a reliable source.

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

First of all, its intuitive, clean, and organized design. Sales Layer consists of an easy-to-use interface, which has allowed me to learn quickly without relying so much on technical support. On the other hand, its ability to centralize and automate information, since I deal with a large number of catalogs with specific characteristics such as dimensions, regulatory data, and batches. Sales Layer gives me the opportunity to keep them updated and well organized, ensuring they reach wholesalers consistently. Likewise, its tools ensure that no relevant details are missing, such as images and technical descriptions.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

When images are uploaded manually, it does not allow more than 250 Mbytes, which implies a delay if we cannot do it through synchronization lists. This process can be tedious, given that in certain emergencies we may end up uploading more than 10,000 images.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main drawbacks is the lack of flexibility in product organization. I manage thousands of references with specific and detailed data, and the absence of a drag-and-drop function to reorder products can be frustrating. This makes reorganizing extensive catalogs slower and more manual, which is not ideal when agility is needed. Despite this concise opinion, Sales Layer remains an effective tool to ensure that information reaches our customers consistently and up-to-date.

**What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?**

We have been using Sales Layer for quite some time and the experience has been notably positive. Primarily, thanks to the team that is part of Sales Layer, because whenever there is any inconvenience, they have always attended to us with great agility, resolving doubts or small mishaps that arose at the moment. At Repofarma, Sales Layer is key for our distribution of laboratory catalogs. Every day we manage new catalogs and update the information that is distributed across different channels. It has been an achievement to work with them because we have managed to optimize processes in different areas, from product management to marketing, achieving a very positive impact on our daily operations. The most determining reasons I would like to highlight are:

1. Their skill in centralizing information
Sales Layer has the ability to organize all data in one place, adapting to the custom fields we need, so it doesn't waste our time. Before, we had to manage multiple spreadsheets and platforms, which led to errors, duplicated information, and time lost in manual updates. Sales Layer has allowed us to integrate everything into a single system, ensuring that the data is always up to date.

it is our single source of truth. Before Saleslayer we had multiple storage places for product information and assets. now it is all stored in one place; saleslayer

Reporting panels give you a clear view of the status and where to focus your efforts.

Nothing remarkable. I don't find anything missing.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data is now centralized and homogeneous throught our documentation. It improves the efficiency of the documentation operators.

The ease of data interaction across different platforms.

**What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?**

Sometimes when there is a requirement for the tool to be improved, it is inefficient or they take a long time to execute it. I understand that there are many requirements affecting many performances and it must be difficult to decide and prioritize.

**What problems is Sales Layer PIM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits us by reducing errors in the data within our product information, and it has resolved an issue we had in the communication between all the digital portals of our catalog.
