Thanks to SAI360 our employees have a good knowledge of ethics and compliance topics. The e-learning provided was simple and dynamic. Moreover, the members assigned to our project, Elaine and Antoine, were very collaborative and always ready to help.

We do not have downsides of working with SAI360 to mention.

Our employees did not like training pre-SAI360 because there were very theoretical and long-lasting, but now we have received good feedback after each course.

SAI360 has a comprehensive training library on all ethics and compliance subject areas to choose from. The courses are "generic" in a good way (they work across jurisdictions and industries) and are easily customizable. The SAI360 team that works alongside you is genuinely excellent. They are helpful in terms of understanding your needs and guiding you to the best training, are at all times responsive, and will go above and beyond to meet your needs.

Training can be skewed to a US audience.

We had to remodelling the module quite a lot for it to fit our purpose.

Make sure that you know what you want to have and ask many questions in the beginning.

Now we have a better overview of the audit work and also a better follow up. Once we will have our reports in place it will be really easy for everyone out in the business to by them self follow up on action plans.

The team at SaiGlobal are very supportive in guiding you to make practical, risk based decisions.  The tool supports the needs of the business, from users in the first line, risk owners, and senior management.  The tool is able to give the holistic view needed, and also to drill down into detail.

Capacity of the support team is sometimes an issue.

Regulatory Change Management, Operational Risk Management, Internal Control (including attestations).  Benefits are it supports the business in growing their risk management maturity.

BWise is easy to use and understand. Implementation of the standard solution is relatively fast and not complicated. End-users can be on-boarded quickly.

Reporting in the tool and in the built-in SAP BO requires specialized knowledge and is not easy to master by non-experts.

The staff is great.  I can reach out to the sales force or technical staff and all assist.  And then the platform is amazing.

Hmm, nothing comes to mind - except maybe that I keep getting more work added with the functionality.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

The best tools in the world don't mean anything is the users can't or won't use them.   Because C360 can handle policies, incident reporting, contracts, conflicts of interest, risk assessments, third party assessments, audit management and probably a handful of things I'm forgetting, it acts as a force multiplier stretching scant resources and allowing for the development of subject mater experts in using and configuring the software.  There is a massive difference between having to learn and manage 3 or 4 different software tools and a single one.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

It isn't the least expensive approach and for any particular module/application, there may be some aspects inferior to a tool solely designed for that task.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to manage third party risk (contracts), incident management (8 domains), policies and Conflicts of Interest tools with a single internal resource managing the  tools so we can consistently improve the process and experience.  Example: Was able to get substantial buy-in from other areas like IS&T, HR, patient experience, OccHealth & Risk Management to use the same tool - dramatic improvement in quality and quantify of reported events and far better visibility to drive Enterprise Risk Management and audit planning.

SAI360 has been helpful in managing our policies and procedures.  We have a small team so automating reviews and approvals has freed up time for our writers to spend more time meeting with subject matter experts and writing the required materials.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit has been managing our review cycles.  The system will automatically remind reviewers of items in their queue.  We also have a requirement that every document is reviewed at least annually.  We were able to create a workflow that automatically kicks off the review for each document (which used to be a manual process).

SAI360 is easy to use and a powerful tool for monitoring and reporting of internal controls effectiveness across a large global business with hundreds of entities. In addition, very effective and nice looking dashboards and reports can be produced.

You have to be prepared it takes more time than you think to configure the tool for your own purposes. The user interface can still be improved including less clicks.

We have previously been using Excel as a reporting tool. With SAI360 the internal control monitoring reporting is much easier for the users and the administrator. We have saved considerable time. We also believe we have increased the quality of the reporting.

SAI360 is a GRC tool including a very broad range of GRC activities which quite easily can be adapted to company needs. For us it has been great to be able to include most of our central GRC processes into one single IT tool with the assistance of professional SAI360 consultants.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The user friendliness has improved during the past few years, but there is still work to do to make it a fully user friendly modern tool. Not ideal to have reporting separate in Business objects.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able move most central GRC processes into one single tool, which enables Group-, division- and country central functions to get a good overview of processes in real-time. By implementing the system we have reduced a lot of manual work in relation to creating output status reporting.

What I like best about SAI Global are two things: The  substantial selection of compliance courses along with the best customer service!  SAI is always coming up with new and improved training on all topics while their customer service team members Akash Mathur and Bob Cicala are there to help you with any of your training needs!

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

I honestly can't say there is much to dislike.  Do I wish all older training were in the new and improved format, yes, but I also understand that it takes time to revitalize such a large library.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAI aids with course choices, alterations and all of my training needs and wants.  The benefits are having knowledgeable people helping me through compliance course choices and what is currently relevant.

Flexibility to build the right tool by choosing from a list of existing functionalities. 
Quick response to make changes upon request and the design team is always solution driven.
User-friendly interface supported by good user driven features.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The lack of a 'out-of-the box' standard solution makes it harder for client who are looking for a 'plug-and-play' option. 
Also, every client's needs may be different and therefore it's hard to start designing a system based on the 'skeleton'. This would lead to many rounds of discussion to conclude on what the client need, and every change is potentially an 'extra' item to build, which could lead to longer time and more cost.
Configuration is not as simple and can take longer time to make basic changes.
The role based access and permissions is useful but not very easy to adopt.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Strongly recommend to use external consultants who has experience in SAI.
Companies planning to implement these types of tools needs to have a stable framework and processes.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking for a single platform to host all Governance, Risk and Compliance processes. Thus far, we have completed the Risk use case.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

We use BWise for our risk and control management and have found the system to be both flexible and with good standardized modules as a starting point.  We have aproached rolling out our GRC-tool on an agile basis.  We make a first version of what we need and test it on our users and then develop based on their feedback.  The way the system can be configured in stead of programmed is very good and also an essential reason for choosing BWise

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

We find going into production with new functionality can be a bit difficult since the system doesn't allow staging.  We would like the system to be packaged ready for production after UAT and that a short verification in production would suffice, but at the moment a full testcycle is needed also in production when going live.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We plan to use BWise for all our GRC-issues.  So far we have rolled out the modules for risk assessments, events and ICFR.  We have also added on configured modules for some other functions (2nd line reporting, model inventory and a product approval process). Recently we also added the Regulatory Change Module to our suite - still in early pilot.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

One upside is that the system is very customizable. A company can choose to use just one module or many and this is only the beginning of the choices. Forms, workflows, and notifications can be tailored to match a company's specific needs. Currently, our ERM module is probably the one that is utilized the most and that we are most proud of. Our end users find that performing their risk assessments in the ERM module is an easy process.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Sometimes features can be a double-edged sword and that's kind of how I see customization for this software. Too much freedom can be overwhelming in some situations. I do not care for the importing data process. Also, reporting has been a struggle for us. We are now exporting data into PowerBI in order to obtain reports that we felt we needed. I do not like how there are not "parameters" that can be updated/changed that would then filter changes all through-out the system. When you make a change, you often have to change it in multiple places.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Know what you need and want. Ensure you ask lots of questions and fully utilize support for successful launch and implementation.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are definitely being able to use the system as a repository; however, we feel like there should be more benefit than that. Like I stated earlier, our most utilized module is the ERM module. We do see value in the functionality for Risk Assessments. We also utilize the Incidents module for Risk Occurences and for Formal Complaints. Both of these processes seem to work fine; however, often times if you really review the process, most work is being done outside the system and it is just more of a storehouse.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

Our company began using the Compliance Workspace module in 2015. Since that time, we have also installed the Policies and Procedures Module and the Incidents Module to manage consumer complaints. Having multiple business units on the same system allows for better integration throughout the organization. SAI360 is great for automated tasking and serving as a repository for support documents that can be organized and accessed in an efficient manner. Also, the policies and procedures module allows for the automation of the lifecycle for all policies and procedures.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The only thing I dislike is that it has taken longer than expected/promised to update the Compliance Workspace module and we have been waiting patiently for certain enhancements.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By adding the Incidents Module, we have addressed the need to see complaints that come through various intake sources as the entire company is now using the same platform to manage complaints. The system has made the business as a whole more efficient.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

First and foremost the ease of use for administrators to understand capabilities and to apply ideas of use. 
Policy Manager is a great tool for any and all departments. You can make it easy to store policies for users at all levels. Incidents module can be easily created/modified for multiple departments. 
The support team is just amazing and always willing to go the extra mile for you!!!

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The lack of users, on our part, that use the system to its full capability. 

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Great product!!  Policy Manager is a very organized and easy to use module. Incidents is a great way to customize and track  variances in the organization. We use different setups for different divisions. The Third Party Risk (Contracts) is great for managing the organizations various departments contracts. 

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially, 14-15 years ago, it was a blessing to have somewhere to store and manage all of the organizational policies for the different departments.  Today the same applies, but also Contracts and Incidents  have been added to this repertoire and made life very manageable for several departments as well as management.

We now have a centralized area for all of the organization's policies and contracts. This has become the source of truth throughout the organization.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

BWise offers a broad range of GRC capabilities: internal control, risk management, recommendation management, etc., all of these integrating seamlessly. The reporting functionalities are extensive offering management the information they need for decision-making. Furthermore, BWise is highly configurable even for non-IT profiles.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Especially in older versions of BWise, the number of clicks to perform a task could be reduced in the standard solutions. It must be noted however that this could be mitigated by creating own dashboards and portlets. 

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

As BWise offers many options for customization and configurability, investing some time in training, both for the BWise tool and reporting functionalities, is quickly proving its benefit. 

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BWise is used for the registration and reporting of multiple GRC initiatives for example for control assessments, key risk identification, recommendation management, questionnaires & surveys. The possibility to present the results of the different initiatives in one dashboard is considered as very valuable by management.

Compliance 360 is relatively easy to use and teach to leadership.  The customization attributes make it easy to create forms and workflows that work with our processes vs. having to try and make our processes fit into a "box" someone else created.  Love that I can add modules at no charge and fully utilize the system in turn saving our organization money.

System can be pretty slow at times and way we have to add users to the entire folder or just the event makes it difficult for users to search the system for contracts.  I'd love to see the ability to check all contracts in the system for users without accessing the actual contract.  Just be able to search and have the file show up, but not be able to click on anything unless you have access to that area.  Detailed reports can be a nightmare when trying to get contracts and addendum's.  There are always little quirks with any system but for the most part it is a great program.  

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Work on contract/addendum relationship for reporting.  Make it easier to allow user to see all contracts without actually getting details on the contract unless they have access. Don't let super easy tickets sit in your queue for 42+ days when you have a deadline to meet.

Several reports are built up in BWise in order to get a complete overview of roles and responsibility within the ICFR processes.

However, having the ability to customize the product and fit it to our workflows instead of having to change the way we do business to adhere to someone else's idea of how we should manage our work has been my personal favorite part of the C360 application.

If I knew then what I know now...  I think we could have imported our data in a more efficient/accurate way had we had the opportunity to better understand the system prior to implementation.  However, there really is any part of the system that I dislike.

The main process enhancement we have made since using this application was taking a process that was previously on paper and building that same process as an electronic "form" inside C360 where we have been able to not only capture the same information, but now have the ability to actually report off of it if we wanted to do so.

The software is out of date in many aspects. The integration of datafeeds, the transporting mechanism, the flexibility of workflow configurations, some UI and user experience aspects need tweaking. The BWise support is not helpful for individually configured solutions - the support model has to be adjusted for such case.

I dislike that I am not able to configure the system for our specific needs. I should not have to submit an idea to see if receives a large number of votes. I need to be able to configure my system to meet the needs of my end users. New ideas take an excessive amount of time to be implemented, and defects take an excessive time to be resolved if they only impact a few of your Clients. If you have a known defect, fix it no matter how many of your Clients it impacts. All of the modules should now be on FA3 architecture. It is time consuming to keep having to come up with work arounds for the documents module. We need the upgrade ASAP.

I use Compliance 360 for policies and I love that all actions are tracked through the audit trail and the history option. I also appreciate how easy it is to navigate the program and all the reports available to me. Customer service responds to my requests very promptly and usually is able to help or give me guidance within a short time of contact.

The only down side is what I refer to as too "clicky."  For example, when I add someone to the Collabortion workflow, I'd like to be able to start the collaboration from there; instead, you have to go back to the policy edit page to the workflow actions button.

I love the search engine (even though it changed a bit). It makes it much easier for our staff to find policies. Being able to easily find the policy they are looking promotes safe and consistent patient care. Enabling employees the ability to review all policies also fosters an environment where all staff members can speak to a specific policies when called upon by a regulatory agency.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

I dislike the reporting module. It is difficult to build meaningful reports and the common response when requesting help is "have you taken the reporting training". As you are aware, this is a service that requires additional funds. This is not the same type of response we receive from a competitor (who also offers policy/contract management modules) that provides free scheduled webinar training at any time.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Make sure you know what the implementation will entail. Be sure that all of your requirements are met prior to using IMA to upload data. This is especially true for items that you would like to upload documents (which, in our case, was all of them).

some of the field as Admin perhaps should be open for easier access so you don't have to jump to so many different screens and modules.
I also dislike that I still have to create a policy in word outside of C360 and then load it in. Would love to have the functionality to create policy directly within C360. 
Reports are also difficult to get going as too much data pulls and they are not very user friendly. Would love to see more canned reports that people have created that other can utilize.

Make sure you are clear on your needs and expectations. So much easier to set up everything once at the beginning than having to go back and change workflows and settings later. 

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting is still difficult and takes a long time to master. Love the customer service response on this however. We also had experience and issue where unpublished revisions to policies were visible to the end user. After much discussion we finally realized what the issue was. This probably could have been communicated better at training on the use of the Revise step for policies.

Easy to add fields/options as business needs change.  Standard reports are easy to generate, although report formatting/downloading could be improved.  The C-360 support team is responsive to questions and problems.  Easy to train new staff and to customize the module to meet your data needs.

Workflow management works for the standard workflow processes, but it is difficult to adjust for  situational needs in which the workflows need adjusted, Custom reporting can be challenging in linking disparate elements.  Modules are somewhat stand-alone and better integration / data crossover / reporting crossover would improve the overall usability.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Current and future state workflow documentation is critical.  Put in the time up front to design the software and the day-to-day administration is minimal.  Build in data quality control processes.

Reporting using standard reports is much more efficient and we have more confidence in the data.  Standard elements of information are captured in easy-to-enter screens.  We removed several data entry steps from our previous process to streamline data capture.

SAI Global has been taking an aggressive approach to developing and improving Compliance 360 and their current direction seems to be headed in the right direction. They are more engaged with their clients and are working towards meaningful change and development. The workflow capabilities are superior to other tools I've used, their support staff is responsive and personable, and much of their product leadership is approachable and engaged with their customers.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Some of Compliance 360's modules are on an older architecture and they lack the configurability and functionality found in others. Unfortunately, some of these modules would be the most beneficial to my organization so the pain is felt here more acutely. 

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

I would suggest setting up an integration with employee directory right from the offset as part of the implementation, including capturing employee relationships as we did not and obtaining the resources from within our organization to set that up has been challenging after the fact. I receive a lot of requests to notify an employee's supervisor during workflow, for example. I would also suggest licensing their business intelligence plugin, as the dashboards and reports offered there are superior to their native reporting tool.

Corporate document management such as Policies and Standard Operating Procedures, having life-cycle and revisions managed through workflow and the ability to link to our company intranet. Incident management for several different groups. Regulatory change management and oversight or accreditation standards.

The functionality is challenging to master. Our workflows were built over ten years ago and making modifications as we have grown has been difficult. When I need to make changes that are not everyday work, even with notes it can be hard to navigate without someone helping me walk through the updates.

My recommendation is to start lean with workflows and then add on as your organization becomes more familiar with the product.

SAI360 contains a lot of wonderful options and, if used and embraced by all, could significantly impact policy management - including database, archiving, and review management - in a very positive way.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

There are a lot of 'whistles and bells' that I am sure sounded nice to developers, but that lack logical functionality in daily use situations. Also the search functionalities have always been inconsistent. This has lead to increasing frustration among end users. Those of us who work in the program daily have a greater appreciate for program potential - but the majority of end user encounters result in frustration. There is also much about the program that is not functional in daily use. "Little things" such as a 'super administrator' profile that would enable the restriction of certain functions (say the 'delete' feature) to only a select group of individuals; the inability to make practical changes in mass - such as a change in "Primary Responsible Party" that would ONLY change active policy ownership and NOT information/names found in workflows.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

Carefully review the product offerings and to see if this is a match for the needs of your community. Invest in asking detailed questions and seeking detailed examples up front of the types of tasks to be carried out on a daily basis. The product support and technical support staff are amazing!

We use for Policy management, including database search, collaboration, review, approval and archiving. Again, the system offers many features, and daily interaction increases appreciation for what is intuitive in the system. SAI360 has enabled a 'big picture' approach to policy and procedure management, including the ability for an overview across multiple locations.

Everything needs to be brought up the FA3 architecture.  Not enough interoperability between the 2 modules.  Also some things have been on the roadmap for years (like Policy attestations/acknowledgments) and you keep saying they are coming but no date is in sight.  It also would be helpful to have more information easier to access regarding upgrades and changes in functionality.  No one has time to read the What's New every week.  Also Compliance Workspace is useless and needs a major overhaul.

Look around at the other products available.  Talk to existing clients about implementation and ease of use.  Find out how the company will continue to support you post implementation.  Customization is important and SAI360 can be tailored to work for just about any business process you have, or might want to have.
