**What do you like best about SAI360?**

I like how SAI360 ties our corporate conduct, compliance, and GRC tools into one place, reducing fragmentation and keeping response organized. For me, having the risk, continuity, and compliance pieces together instead of scattered is a big advantage. I appreciate how cleanly it pulls integrated risk management together, especially the disaster recovery side and the emergency mass notification system, making it a one-stop shop for business continuity. This is crucial for keeping us ready for any incident. Setting up report templates for audits or analytics is straightforward too, so I don't have to struggle with the tool every time I need to prepare something for a review. The initial setup of SAI360 was pretty smooth as well.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Some parts come with a steep learning curve. The compliance learning modules in particular take real effort to get on top of, and that's been the one area where I've had to put in more time than I'd have liked before feeling comfortable. Clearer step-by-step onboarding and simpler navigation would make the compliance modules far less daunting for newcomers.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

I really appreciate SAI360 for keeping us aligned with regulatory training requirements and DOJ expectations without needing to chase updates myself. The content library is deep and allows us to roll out the same modules in several languages, saving us loads of time, especially with our offices in different countries. The content is surprisingly watchable, using short videos with realistic workplace scenarios that keep people engaged. The mix of full courses, micro-learning, and quick clips helps me match the format to the audience perfectly. Most of all, I'd recommend SAI360 because of the fantastic customer success team. Our assigned contact knows our business well, flags regulatory changes, and treats us more like a partner than a vendor. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The one gap is the pace of new content. Sustainability is the obvious example, the demand is rising fast and the library is still catching up. Faster rollout of content in emerging areas like sustainability and AI governance, plus more granular reporting on where learners drop off, would be the biggest improvements for me.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAI360 aligns us with regulatory training requirements, reduces firefighting by integrating compliance with enterprise risk, and offers a deep content library in multiple languages. The customer success team flags regulatory changes, saving me time and acting as a partner.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

I think that SAI360 really comes alive in terms of risk and control linkages. Once you create a risk, you can tie that risk directly to the controls used to mitigate the risk; once tied to controls, you can then tie those controls to your testing workpapers; and suddenly you have a chain of events (risk -> control -> test) that provides an easily traceable pathway rather than having to search through 3 separate spreadsheets for information. We've used it for SOX for approximately two years now, and it does a good job of bringing all aspects of the Control Environment (narratives, testing evidence, sign-offs) into one central location.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

My major complaint is the approval workflow. If a tester completes a work paper and subsequently revises the work paper after completing the original work paper, SAI360 does not automatically move the revised version of the work paper from an approved status back to an unapproved status. Therefore, theoretically you could have a signed off document that was edited under the cover of the signatures. A minor complaint but I hate the dashboard widgets as they appear to be designed by someone that has never had to present this type of data to a CFO.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to implementing SAI360, our SOX Program existed in a combination of Shared Drives, Excel Trackers and someones Email Inbox. With SAI360 there is now a single source where Risks Connect to Controls, Controls Connect to Testing and Testing Connects to Evidence. SAI360 has also assisted with Quarterly Certification Process - Sending 302/906 Questionnaires through Platform to Business Stakeholders and Tracking Responses is much easier than managing via Email. While SAI360 is not a perfect solution and the Learning Curve at the beginning was significant, it did replace a completely disorganized process with one that at least has some structure.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

I like the template for questionnaires; they appear to be set up in such a manner that will make it easier for us to send requests to third-party entities without making it feel like we are trying to pull their teeth. Additionally, the AI assisted response mapping feature is useful as it identifies when vendors ask essentially the same questions in different manners and allows the responses to be filled-in without requiring much additional thought.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The reporting features allow for minimal customizations and this can become frustrating if your company needs to meet certain compliance requirements and also there are occasions where you can not create reports in the manner in which you would prefer. Also the number of alerts generated by the system can be too much and while not all alerts are urgent, you still have to review every single alert regardless of whether or not each one of them is an emergency.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to sai360, we conducted vendor assessments via e-mail and large excel files. If you know anything about either method, then you understand why i describe it as horrible. Sai360 consolidates many of those processes such as vendor questionnaires are sent out, vendor responses received and documented, which eliminates some of the issues related to communication between departments and management.

  ### 5. SAI360 is quite easy to use and makes compliance less painful

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

It works with an endless number of systems (AWS, GitHub, Google Workspace, etc.) so finding evidence during an audit is literally seamless. The automated tests have been another major benefit - at a glance, i know when i need to pay attention to something that is failing, or something that needs to be addressed. And the trust center has also been beneficial because customers can now view their own compliance status rather than calling/emailing me every 5 minutes.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Some of the navigation is much too deep. For example, if a test is failing and i need to go fix something specific, i have to click through four pages to get there. That can be very annoying. Button contrast is also weirdly bad. Upload buttons just blend in with everything else so you are sitting around looking for something right in front of you. And every time you want to do anything it opens a new tab. After a while your browser is just full of tabs.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small team; we don’t have any employees who have a background in security. And we needed to meet the requirements of soc 2. Without having a tool like sai360 that would’ve been extremely difficult. Sai360 provides what you need to meet the requirements of soc 2; assigns tasks related to those requirements; tracks them; and allows auditors to pull evidence directly from it rather than us having to put together a huge spreadsheet.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

I think the part where it really shines is in creating courses — it’s very easy to upload videos, PDFs, SCORM files add a quiz at the end, etc and it does all of it easily without having to mess around. The AI-based course builder is very good for quickly building out something. Support also responds pretty quickly which I did not expect.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The reporting piece is lacking and it’s frustrating because everything else is okay. You cannot report on learning paths at all; you can only customize reports up to a point and some fields are not available, which means you’ll be duplicating information elsewhere to get the number you need. The new UI has a learning curve and some items are still in the older UI so you’re bouncing back and forth depending on what you are trying to accomplish. Pet peeve, but true: the training hours appear as “31m 55s” (text) instead of a number so you’ll have to write your own formula to total them.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAI360 puts all of this into one place, automates the issuing of certificates, allows you to create groups and assign classes to those groups instead of individually, and gives employees the ability to complete classes on their own schedule. For our size team of trainers (managing training across hundreds of people without a large L&D staff), SAI360 is something that actually removes work from your plate as opposed to adding more.

I'm just glad that everything is now in one location and also the support team has been very responsive and I normally get a real person, as opposed to a bot. Onboarding was relatively quick and did not take weeks to set up and I really appreciate how it auto flags the risk for me to review rather than having to search for it myself.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

I find customizing the reporting to be difficult. I simply want to rearrange the items, but I feel as though they are too rigid. Additionally the pricing can be somewhat steep for smaller companies and it appears at times there are too many clicks to access a simple vendor summary. I wish this were a little less expensive for what you receive.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The majority of the time, I am simply trying to keep track of our third party vendors to avoid being caught off guard. In addition to assisting with compliance audits (all data is located in one area), it prevents endless back and forth emails with security questionnaires.

Because I rely on it 12–13 times a day, consistency and reliability are essential, and it rarely lets me down. The integration capabilities are strong as well, letting me connect it with other tools I use without needing constant manual updates. One thing I dislike about SAI360 is that the interface can feel dated at times, which makes navigating complex compliance tasks less smooth than I’d like. Because I use the platform 12–13 times a day, the occasional lag or slower response is noticeable and can interrupt my workflow.

The reporting and analytics tools are functional, but they don’t always provide the level of insight I need for more strategic decision-making. Integrations generally work well, yet connecting with niche or less common systems can require additional time and troubleshooting. Overall, while the customer support team is helpful, I wish the platform itself felt more modern and streamlined to better match the reliability of the people behind it.

SAI360 helps me tackle the challenge of managing compliance and risk across multiple frameworks without feeling overwhelmed by fragmented, scattered processes. **What do you like best about SAI360?**

The no code function is good for fixing workflows without having to call a developer and the support team also answers me which is very unusual. I am able to connect multiple items such as risk and asset and it has not crashed. It is simple to use and easy to find your way around, as long as you don’t overcomplicate things.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

It was a nightmare to create an entire dashboard by myself. I spent countless hours on creating it. Honestly I’m still upset about it. It is overpriced for what it does. The learning curve is high. I absolutely hate the redirect feature. It just seems old school. Why does it take me forever to format percentages correctly in the calculations?

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to get rid of the old excel sheets and notebooks that were killing us. We were both confused all the time during audits because the information wasn’t stored in a centralized location. I don’t have to run after the bosses to gather evidence from them because it sends emails to them automatically.

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

I was worried that it would cause me to lose what I uploaded or somehow malfunction; however it worked fine. Also the connection to microsoft office is fairly good. When I upload excel spreadsheets into SAI360 they update correctly and do not seem to damage anything in the process. And the support team also does a very good job with large file uploads and solving issues.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The only major negative I have is the cost. I had to really push to get approval from management. It weirdly sometimes take forever to get help from support even though their support is quite good so they should probably work on this. The reporting could be improved upon, as well. If you have over 2,000 controls (which is the case for us), it takes a long time for the pages to load.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our sox and operational audits, we currently use SAI360 to get away from spreadsheets and with SAI360, it allows us to keep a record of the edits made to the documentation so if there is an error in the documentation, we will be able to tell who caused it. Also since my air conditioner broke in the office today, I'm a bit irritated but I would definitely recommend SAI360 as it has saved us time during our audits.

UI is very user friendly and pleasing to the eye. Configuration possibilities are very open ended and allow for heavy customization. Client partnership allows access to development team and gives us input to the platform's future. Multiple use cases available makes it a true risk management platform. New features and capabilities constantly being released.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Backend configuration is a bit of a learning curve. Advanced customization sometimes requires paying for professional services.

Automation for vendor risk management. Centralization of security and compliance audits. Comprehensive risk registers. Migration of manual processes to automated workflows. Integration of processes that break down silos within the organization.

Main reason for the usage of SAI360 is its flexibility to create nearly any entity, with any attributes and to use them in by yourself created workflows, filter the entities in tables, dasboards, treeviews and design your own functionalities arround  it.

They have full length courses as well as micro-learning segments to even short multimedia files to meet all your business needs. The best part of SAI360 is their customer support - it's by far exceptional. Sometimes there seems few people with the right knowledge to assist with things, but that may be a reflection of our very small scale and geographic isolation.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

One thing you need to be sure of is to be really clear what your use cases are. There are a lot of SAI solutions and sometimes the names of those do not necessarily line up with what you would expect them to actually do. I would also say, and this is a general statement regardless of SAI - do not customise. Configuration is so extensive inside the BWise solution there's masses you can do to make the UX and setup a good one without expensive and future-limiting customisation.

We took control of Incident Management from a multi-jurisdictional, rigid, loathed system. We have strong ROI in terms of time wasted on bespoke reporting, infinitely greater control, ability to configure to an amazing degree (e.g. custom emails to users based on what WE deem important), and essentially self-determination in owning our own solution, but one that is almost out-of-the-box in terms of nearly no customisation (making it much easier to be supported).

We have brought Compliance, Internal Audit, Controlled Self Assessments, Corporate Material Risk Profiles and Divisional Risk Registers into a single platform which should allow us to gain greater insight into the status of each risk and key control from our three lines of defence. The additional benefit is to more easily understand what actions are open/overdue.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

We had to keep Incident Management, Construction & Operational Risk Registers, Vendor Management, Contractor Management, Modern Slavery Assessments on alternate platforms as SAI360 did not provide sufficient capability at the time of vendor selection.

Because we want our risk & controls universe to be the same for all modules it is a 'clunky' process and almost not worth the effort. As an example, it is not possible to update SAI360 in real-time in a project control meeting as there is a need to constantly move between processes. We have to 'mark-up' a printed copy of the risk register, then task someone to spend nearly half-a-day to update the system after a 2 hour meeting.

For our set-up the user experience is not intuitive, the look and feel is dated. The internal audit module does not really accommodate the creation of an audit report within the system.

**Recommendations to others considering SAI360:**

The devil is in the detail. Do you want each module to be used standalone or integrated. Will records be centrally maintained or is each element to be maintained by a separate user - and in which case what resource impact is there on your staff (first line, second line, third line)

As above, we use it for Director's attestations on compliance matters, we use it for project risk workshop, we use it for Divisional Risk Registers and status of actions palns, we use it for Corporate Risk Profiles (incl monitoring if we remain within Risk Appetite and Tolerance) , we use it for Business Unit attestations relating to Controlled Self Assessments, we use it for creating Internal Audit Reports and we use it for tracking open audit items.

The application is completely customisable allowing us to do virtually anything that is required without the intervention of the Small Projects Team or other consultants.

The Technical Support (although paid for) is excellent, with extremely knowledgeable team members who are very patient and thorough.  Although it is a small team, they are able to prioritise support requests and usually follow up on outstanding tickets in a timely manner.

The mobile app ROAM enables our workforce to submit records when not in mobile service areas, avoiding duplication of effort.

Clients are able to submit suggestions for enhancements through the IDEAS Portal, which other clients are then able to comment and vote on.  Depending on the number of votes, the development team will review and add to the backlog.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

The small projects team is under-resourced, therefore, projects are on a waiting list for long periods of time, often without update.  

While the IDEAS portal has managed the client base to identify and have resolutions developed to solve a number of problems, suggestions for enhancements are often left for very long periods of time without any progression.  It is disappointing to see ideas that are still open after more than 12 months.  It is probable that the development team is also under-resourced.

Server response times, particularly in Development and Test environments is often not so good.  Having to wait for response on some functions of Configuration can be somewhat frustrating.

A request was made at a client conference around two years ago, for a "Client Forum" to be created, where Clients could collaborate.  While this was virtually unanimously agreed by all the attendees to be a great improvement and, was promised by the presenters, this has still not been put in place, which is disappointing.

Audit logs are not very friendly.  Often unique identifiers are listed instead of field names.

Review other vendors, as we have done.  SAI360 certainly stacks up very well against its competitors.  
The application is extensive, is constantly being enhanced and is completely customisable in-house.
The support team is very knowledgeable and responds in a timely manner.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to customise the software in-house, enables us to quickly change our focus as new innovations are identified and put in place. With new data points we can easily identify trends as well as Risks, putting mitigation plans in place.  The new API has allowed us to build exceptional reports that meet the needs of our stakeholders as well as help with resourcing our teams.

With each new upgrade of the application, best practices can be utilised, eliminating effort and making the application easier to use, meeting one of our company values:  "Be easy to do business with".

Duplication of effort has virtually been eliminated through the use of ROAM as well as the integration of external applications through the use of API and import functions.  

Being able to organise specialised education for our administrators has enabled us to do much more in-house configuration with the application, saving us a great deal of time and many thousands of dollars.  With this knowledge, the savings continue year on year.

One integrated system with interface to different modules with possibilities to link internal control, audit, risk management et cetera with each other and drive synergies.

The standard modules can sometimes be difficult to re-configurate or adjust for customized purposes.

Spend time in analyzing how well the standard module and standard solution fits into your needs. If a customized solution is needed then a lot more time then originally planned will be required and most likely some compromises will also be needed to be done.

A more transparent and efficient work flow within the own unit and between different units as well as better tools for analyze and visualization.

I found a wide varity of choices on their library of training modules that are available to us to choose.  The team assigned to support our company is brilliant, particularly in the initial stage of deployment where we encountered lots of challenges in building the platform, setting up a new database, etc. the project management team at SAI360 has been very helpful in assisting us to overcome the hurdles.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

We are a global company whereby the quality of multi-lingual languages is one of our main concerns.  We learnt from our own experiences that there seems to be rooms for improvement amongst the translation of the Asian languages in traning modules we purchased for our local employees in Asia.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems with developing an online training platform on our own.  Benefits realized are time savings and flexibility...

**What do you like best about SAI360?**

A flexible data model and ability to configure have enabled customisation to suit requirements of our firm. The BWise integrated data model enables a consistent view across business functions, risk types & regions. This has driven strong transparency of risk profiles and compliance risks which has been a strong enabler towards a more embedded risk culture.

The broad range of compatible modules has enabled more holistic oversight (e.g.  integration of Compliance Breaches, Issues & Findings and Risk Events).

There have been no platform outages over three years . Users have on occasion complained of slow screen performance however usage of Google Chrome has seen these issues significantly reduced.

**What do you dislike about SAI360?**

Newer versions have improved UX, however clunky screen formats have led to some negative user feedback. This is an area that has been prioritised for improvement by the BWise technical team and there have been productive discussion on potential solutions to drive improve UX.

Whilst BWise compares favourably to many of the other GRC platforms on the market, I believe the user interface is a key area that requires further focus  - this will enable BWise to move towards a more pre-eminent position in this space.

**What problems is SAI360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an integrated enterprise risk management platform whereby risk events, RCSA, compliance breaches, issues and findings and actions are all managed by the BWise platform. This enables read across of key oversight activities via a standardised data model.
