I really like that Time Slips is a single paltform we can use to generate all of our bills and get a great big picture look at our hours billed and efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that Time Slips is not that user friendly. The program feels out of date and has many things hidden away in menu after menu as opposed to being a bit more self-explanatory or user firnedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Does the job (recording attorney hours at special rates, reimbursement, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not customizable to fit special needs for case. Take, for instance, the attorney I worked for offered a special discount for an adoption case and entering the time and expense for that one was very painful as I had a hard time adjusting the set rate for that one, without messing the rate for all his other cases. Time slips is very customizable and allows you to customize the software to your liking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be confusing when you need support since it so customizable. Agent do not sometimes understand issues in software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to bill, record payments, print statements, and account receivable reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t like that you can’t delete invoices once other invoices have been printed l. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to start a timer to track how long you work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The internet version signs you out and you lose the timing capability; having to disable spell check on each time slips is annoying Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sage Timeslips is the only timekeeping software I've used, so it is basic and what I have learned from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be very time consuming putting in and keeping the time on the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many features. Sadly, like much B2B software, the only thing this has going for it is the inertia of companies having chose it years ago. There's no reason to start using this software now that there are so many better, more well-maintained, and cloud-based solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is one of the buggiest pieces of software I've ever used. It requires constant maintenance and troubleshooting. There are tons of cloud-based solutions that don't come with these issues. It has lots of features but they still only apply if your business works in a specific way. It's also so complicated and convoluted that you need to hire a consultant to modify almost anything. It seems like it has powerful features, but they're not intuitive or accessible, and, in reality, the program struggles with even the smallest tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Time entries can be entered fairly easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Making changes to databases, invoices, statement information can be hard to accomplish. Adding interest to statements is difficult to find and enter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For routine install of the program to my in office network was well done and politely handled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tech support for installing remote access on laptops was good 1st tune, But 2nd time for another remote laptop, tech didn't know what he was doing so he failed completely. 3rd time, the TECH LIED and said they don't have remote feature any more. VERY VERY disappointed at the lack of professionalism Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Timeslips is an easy product, doesn't require much learning to actually use, and not ridiculously price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is deprecated and Sage doesn't seem to support it anymore. It was useful for the most part and got the job done, but now it's basically hidden on the Sage website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
