SafetyCulture has really boosted our way of disseminating information within the teams during the course of inspections. The use of mobile devices to share the results of inspections with other persons has enhanced the speed of the entire exercise. It is particularly useful for tense climates given that time sensitive feedback is nearly always advantageous. Moreover, the tracking elements of the software make it easier for management to track the flow of each inspection and place more responsibility back on the team members. In terms of SafetyCulture it would be great if it were improved a bit by offering less detailed feedback on completed inspections. The system works for high level task tracking, but it doesn’t dig down into the actual things that we find on inspection in order to give us more detailed reports that we can analyze. Furthermore, the system is not easy to adapt to, and some teams have had an issue remembering old inspections when they need them, because they aren’t easy to navigate through multiple screens. SafetyCulture has the answer for inspections that are disorganized and inconsistent. We struggled tracking inspections before, and it was a waste of valuable data. Now, the software makes sure inspections are always documented in the same way, and communicates the results to everyone quickly. We want to thank it for saving us time by decreasing the need for follow ups and therefore increasing our accountability on our teams from a problem that is about to escalate to one that’s already erupted.
