## SAFE Reviews
 ### 1. Elevating risk management with a trusted partner.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoe S. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

What stands out about SAFE is the knowledgeable and responsive support team. The team truly understands both the platform and the broader field of cyber risk quantification. They are consistently reliable and actively seek feedback to improve. SAFE is consistently releasing updates and enhancements, which shows a strong commitment to evolving alongside the needs of its users
The platform is intuitive and easy to use, with a range of features. The cyber risk quantification capabilities are especially insightful when it comes to helping security teams prioritize efforts based on meaningful data.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

There is nothing I truly dislike about SAFE. The team is very receptive to feedback and always looking to improve. One minor challenge has been getting answers for the Financial Impact Questionnaire (FIQ). However, SAFE has been consistently working to make this more consumable.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAFE is helping solve the challenge of delivering clear, consumable cyber risk quantification to clients. It enables us to move beyond traditional qualitative risk assessments by providing data-driven insights that are actionable and measurable. With SAFE, we can help clients make informed decisions about where to allocate their security budgets to achieve reduction in actual risk. This not only enhances the ability to advise clients more effectively, but also gives them the confidence to align their cybersecurity investments with business priorities.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Zoe - thank you for your positive feedback on the product and customer success team! We are delighted to have you as our partner and customer.

 ### 2. Fast Customer Support, Automated FAIR Analysis, Real-time CTI informed TEF make SAFE the #1 CRQ tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua C. | Strategic Cyber Risk Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

SAFE is able to provide real time feeds on threat actor actions and TEF data for each threat actor per initial attack method. This makes the risks stay up to date in real time as it constantly affects current risk.

Additonally I love how you can make small adjustments to risks or do what if analyses to see how a particular finding and/or control affect overall risk. The automated methodology of FAIR is what I have been looking for a long time.

Its also very easy to integrate security tools into the platform to better inform risk by giving real time reliability scores to my FAIR CAM controls which update risk scenarios in real time.

Finally, I have found it incredibly easy to work with SAFE customer support and customer enablement teams who are able to help me customize SAFE platform for my clients and for our own business.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

While this is a typical flaw of all web based platforms, certain views/pages could be better scaled to monitor sizes or provide additional functionality like toggles to round or not round CRQ outputs. Additionally there are some deeper views in the loss drivers that I wish had description boxes directly in the UI/tool vs having to refer to seperate whitepapers/user guides/ or SAFE support.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAFE helps me understand loss magnitudes for various risk scenarios that before using the tool, was very hard for me to calculate on my own. It enables us to ask the right questions, collect the right data, and then automatically does the calculations of FAIR. its wonderful

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thanks Josh for your detailed feedback. It is very encouraging to know that you like the automation and speed of risk analysis on the Safe platform. We are working on improving user experience and more explainability in the product itself. Thank you for being a great customer and a supporter!

 ### 3. Essential Cyber Risk Management Platform for Third-Party and Supply Chain Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee S. | Info Security Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The thing I like most about SAFE is the clear risk quantification and prioritization with actionable insights for remediation. This platform supports informed decision-making across our application teams. They also work extremely hard to ensure all of our integrations and third-party information are implemented successfully. Their support team is very responsive and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

The only challenge we've encountered with SAFE is identifying the right internal stakeholders to complete the financial questionnaire. While the platform itself is intuitive, this part of the process can require additional coordination.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAFE is solving the following business problems:

Business Problem #1: Lack of Visibility into Third-Party Risk
SAFE helps us quantify and visualize cyber risk across our vendors and supply chain, which was previously difficult to assess along with our first-party risk.

Business Problem #2: Prioritization of Vulnerabilities
Instead of treating all risks equally, SAFE identifies which vulnerabilities pose the greatest threat, allowing us to focus our efforts where they matter most.

Business Problem #3: Decentralized Risk Ownership
Our application leads now have a clear, actionable view of the cyber risk tied to their assets, empowering them to take ownership and drive improvements.

Business Problem #4: Difficulty in Measuring Risk Reduction Over Time
SAFE provides metrics and dashboards that show how our security posture is improving, helping us track progress and justify investments.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you Aimee for your kind review.

 ### 4. Valuable Risk Impacts in $ value with interactive user experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muqeet K. | Senior Manager - IT Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Its the only solution of its sorts that provide quantified risk impact in terms of financial value that the enterprises can leverage to make the right investments and predict ROI on their cyber security investments. It is easy to use and the professional service support is stellar.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

A few things where I would like SAFE to improve upon is:

Show calculations or help understand how FAIR arrives at a value to maintain transparency within the tool.
Ability to quantify governance related risks such as improper user access control and review as well as compliance violations.
Provide reference ranges from industry of risk to help organizations build an apetite.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Make investments in security based on risk landscape and demonstrate ROI on already made investment in cybersecurity.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thanks Muqeet for your positive feedback. I am excited that you are able to make ROI decisions using Safe. We will work on the improvement areas.

 ### 5. Innovation of Risk Quantification!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky P. | Cyber Risk Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

SAFE Security stands out by offering a unified, AI-powered platform that quantifies cyber risk in financial terms, enabling organizations to make informed, strategic decisions with confidence.

What makes SAFE particularly compelling is its ability to integrate data from across the enterprise - spanning people, processes, technology, and third parties - and translate it into actionable insights. By aligning cyber exposures with business impact, SAFE empowers stakeholders to prioritize risk mitigation efforts based on materiality and return on investment.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

I would also love to see guided learning modules or certifications tailored to different roles - e.g., CISOs, risk analysts, or compliance officers - to accelerate adoption and maximize value. This could be useful having gone through the transition from RiskLens to SAFE.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have enjoyed leveraging SAFE to calculate return on investments and identifying actionable insights.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Becky - great suggestion on certifications. We are investing in this area and will come up with certifications soon.

 ### 6. SAFE Enables Risk Management at the Speed of the Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chase B. | Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

SAFE has a host of features I use daily to deliver value for my company. The what if feature allows my team to perform quantified risk analyses on potential solutions to aid decision makers with risk insights. Additionally, SAFE's data integrations with internal security tools work to automatically influence FAIR-CAM control maturity ratings, which speed up the risk analysis process. Implementing SSO within the product was easy and enabled reporting with key stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

There are some limitations with the internal authorization model that results in overprovisioned access.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyber return on investment decision support requests from our business partners. Support with annual goal planning to ensure risk impact is considered in strategic plans. We were able to solve these business problems before SAFE, but having the tool increases the speed in solving these problems/answering questions. Additionally, the tool allows my team's time to focus more on risk analysis and less on information gathering since SAFE's proprietary model takes into account many of the data sources we would spend time manually reviewing.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Great feedback on using Safe for ROI, goal planning, budget trade-offs - all based on continuous telemetry!

 ### 7. Expectations exceed capabilities. But standardised quantification method adds confidence in outcomes

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Standardised quantification method (FAIR) adds confidence in the outcomes of risk scenarios analysis.

Lot’s of integrations with widespread IT and Cyber tools (assets management, vulnerability management, EDR, people etc) helping ingest data into the SafeOne platform.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

So far, Integrations are not deep and pull only limited data from the source (mostly assets and findings identified by source tool). No way to customise, to check configurations and/or policies applied.

Also I haven’t seen AI capabilities to read evidences (policy, procedures, reports etc) and automate some controls testing (would be useful in today’s AI-driven environment). Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment + Financial Impact Questionnaire are vital for further quantitative analysis of the risks

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardised quantification method (FAIR) adds confidence in the outcomes of risk scenarios analysis. Helps to talk to the Board and Management on the same business language and priorities projects and investments in IT and Cybersecurity.

Future steps for us - to improve TPRM process with Safe

 ### 8. Great at Translating Posture into Actions, but Implementation Needs Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** . Niklas N. | Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The ability to translate posture into understandable actions sets SAFE apart

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Implementation was not really 100% when we tried it out, frequent breakdowns and timeouts.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insightful answers to “How secure are we?” Being able to discuss risk in a language everyone understands is a real game changer, and it makes those conversations much clearer and more productive.

**Official Response from Tushar Bansal:**

> Hi Niklas, thanks for the thoughtful review and for highlighting what sets SAFE apart. Helping teams translate security posture into clear, actionable insights is exactly what we aim to deliver.

We’re sorry to hear about the implementation challenges you experienced. When did you last try implementing or using SAFE? We’ve made meaningful improvements to stability, implementation, and the overall UI experience since then, and would be happy to share what’s new if you’re interested. Let us know!

Best
Tushar Bansal, Chief Customer Officer at SAFE

 ### 9. SAFE Security Onboarding and Implementation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The SAFE Security platform integrates multiple sources of risk data that allows our organization to better evaluate our third and fourth parties risk information, thus making it easier for our stakeholders to make business decisions. The platform itself is simple, functional and easy to use and the onboarding of vendors was straightforward and seamless. The SAFE Security team was great to work with as they ensured they were able to provide all that we needed to make the implementation much easier. Mark McKinney is very knowledgeable of their product and was very open to questions and ideas about how to improve their product or add new features to it. It was a great collaborative experience all throughout.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Overall as a product, there's nothing I do not like about the current SAFE Security platform. I however have some Ideas I would like to suggest to improve the features of the product.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The SAFE Security platform allows us to view our third and fourth parties risk information and lets us make better decisions as to whether to continue doing business with them or not.

 ### 10. Ease of Managing Third Party

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manan T. | Head Of Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Before SAFE, managing third-party risk was a fragmented and labor-intensive process. Our tools didn't talk to each other, and tracking potential threats was a constant uphill battle. SAFE solved this almost overnight. The integration was surprisingly straightforward, and it immediately centralized our security data. Now, with continuous monitoring and an interface our entire team can actually use, we're spending less time chasing down information and more time strategically mitigating risk. It has fundamentally streamlined our security operations

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Beneficial to have guided learning modules

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proactive Risk Management: The continuous monitoring provides real-time alerts that let us act before problems escalate.

Accessible to All: The clean, intuitive UI meant no steep learning curve and quick adoption by everyone, tech-savvy or not.

 ### 11. Navigating Safe Security: Assessing Its Risk Assessment Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Using Safe security has been a pretty good experience for us, it gives a clear picture of our internal security and i appreciate the continuous monitoring and risk assessment features... they definitely help us stay on top of things, it's been really useful like how it helps to track and manage risks from external vendors, alerting us to potential issues before they turn into bigger problems that's a big plus for us but the only downside is that the platform can be a bit complicated to navigate with all the data it provides, but overall it is a great tool for managing security very efficiently.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Complexity: It can be challenging for smaller teams without cybersecurity expertise 2. False positives: Sometimes legitimate activities are flagged as threats 3. Integration issues: integrating with other tools or older systems can be tricky at times.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time Risk Monitoring: Constantly tracks threats and vulnerabilities. 2. Third party Risk Management: Evaluates and monitors the security postures 3. Integrated Threat Intelligence: Keeps us informed on the latest global cyber threats. 4.Compliance Tool: Helps us stay aligned with industry regulations. 5. Customizable Alerts and Reports: personalized notifications and detailed risk reporting.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback on TPRM. I am excited that you are effectively managing your TPRM risk using Safe. We are working on further simplifying our user experience. Thank you for being a great user and customer!

 ### 12. Interactive SaaS tool with interface containing valuable risk analysis insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adil P. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

SAFE offers valuable scenario-based risk analysis insights and also provides a what-if analysis tool and control recommendations for easy comparison and testing.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Initially there's a lot to digest on the main dashboard which can cause some confusion at first and potentially give off a cluttered impression.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for more data driven risk decisions from stakeholders due to the real-time scenario-based risk analysis through the various integrations as well as features such as the what-if analysis tool and control recommendations. This is beneficial because it offers the possibility of real-time refreshed risk dashboards that can be sent to stakeholders to aid them in their decision-making process.

 ### 13. Using SAFE at a Fortune 500 Organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The automation that the platform brings enables us to execute on economies of scale and perform fast and defensible risk assessments with ease. It's very easy to implement and quickly gain risk insights to demonstrate value. The integrations help reduce subjectivity in control maturity estimates by using telemetry data rather than human judgment.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

The out of the box dashboards do not provide us with much use.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAFE is solving the problem of point in time risk assessments becoming unusable when the risk landscape changes. Traditional tools only allow for supporting decisions periodically and do not account for how the landscape can change so quickly, rendering the data used to support the risk decision stale and obsolete. SAFE solves for this by automating the information feeds needed to support a continuous view of risk that changes when the objective data feeding the model changes. This allows decision makers to understand, in real time, what their exposure is and adjust their behavior accordingly if necessary. This enables the ability to continuously operate within the organization's defined risk appetite and tolerance and make informed decisions at a pace that supports the business.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Super delighted that you are seeing the value in objective control maturity assessments, and continuous risk management! We will continue to work on reporting. Thank you for being a customer!

 ### 14. Safe One & Safe TPRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Safe One allows for apples to apples quantitative comparison and supports cyber risk investment and decision support efforts. Safe TPRM provides visibility into vendor risk.
Safe is easy to use, customer support is good, number of features is improving over time, and we use the platform daily.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Safe dashboarding is not always consumable at the executive level, sometimes we pull the information out of the platform and create our own summaries that are consumable by technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Automation / Ease of use in the platform sometimes results in a lack of transparency. Safe is generally easy to use but sometimes can be challenging to know exactly how a number was calculated or determined.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safe helps us make decisions about where to spend our next dollar.
This helps with budget planning
This helps with business cases

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thank you for your kind feedback - glad that you are able to use the Safe platform for TPRM and decision making.

 ### 15. Potentially Great Product

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

SAFE has brought FAIR analysis to life in an easy to use way that offers the potential for revolutionizing cyber risk management. There are advantages to this solution over other solutions such as integrations with other security tools to add security telemetry like vulnerability data to the risk quantification equation. However, some integrations are of questionable value. Implementation of the main platform is easy. Connecting integrations is mixed where some are easy and some are not. Customer support and the customer success team are great.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Currently my biggest concern is the lack of maturity in managing an enterprise solution and ensuring product releases are bug free and don't cause issues in the reporting provided by the solution. Also, there has been a heavy push by the company to expand beyond cyber risk quantification into areas like TPSRM, AI, and CTEM which continue to detract from a focus on quality and continued focus on improving the CRQ portion of the solution.

There are also some design decisions that are questionable and some that I completely disagree with regarding how risk is being modeled. However the customer success team is always willing to listen to feedback and work to make improvements.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyber risk assessments are used for decision support for multiple purposes.

 ### 16. SAFE G2 Review as a Cyber Risk Management user

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary F. | Senior Cyber Risk Management Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The platform’s ability to display risk trending daily (i.e., weekly, monthly, etc.) and the different functionality/widgets within the platform. Also I appreciate the ease of user management when needing to perform platform maintenance

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Performing certain functions within the platform takes multiple clicks and/or lacks additional/viable information when investigating certain risk factors (i.e. Susceptibility). Having to open multiple tabs manually when reviewing top risks - currently lacks ability to open in new tab

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business priority risk assessments and daily trending review/analysis of top risks

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you Zach for your detailed feedback. Safe has been built for real time risk management - and I love that your team is able to use the real time features. We are working on improving the user experience in the platform.

 ### 17. Safe One Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Safe enables organizations to realize on-demand insights into cybersecurity risk. Decision makers cannot wait weeks or months on end for risk assessments to be completed when making decisions. Safe's automated environment using internal and external sources realizes the opportunity we need as cyber practitioners and leaders to make effective decisions as they are needed or before they are needed.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

The roles and authorizations in the product need to be developed more to allow for more granularity.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safe enables automated insights from external sources of information on threats and losses and allows our program to scale to an enterprise.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thank you for your positive feedback! Love the fact that you are able to scale your risk management program using Safe!

 ### 18. Successfull SAFE Expirience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

What I particularly appreciate is the ability to quantify the impact of a risk scenario. From a technical standpoint, I find the tool's feature for creating groups and assigning user roles—allowing restricted access to specific groups—very useful. Additionally, the AI-generated summaries of risk scenarios are highly beneficial.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

One of the things I don't like is that it doesn't allow temporarily disabling users. On the other hand, I think that besides the dashboards, for presenting results to the company's management, the tool should prepare reports in PDF format with more detail than what appears on the dashboard.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far I don't see any major problems to highlight

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you for your feedback. I am delighted that you see value in AI summaries and role based access. We will take your feedback on better reporting.

 ### 19. Safe as a game changer for cyber risk analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deborah C. | Head of Information Security Governance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Integrating data from so many different sources to provide a single pane of glass to determine priorities. Provides the cyber risk view of our environment in real time and not just with a risk score as all of our other solution providers use. Instead, we can see risk in objective presentation that relates well with our executives, really focusing on the "why" they need to care.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

There is so much information to view and understand that it can be overwhelming at first.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to prioritize actions and strategies as well as providing a more user-friendly approach to reporting cyber risk to our senior management.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Deb - thank you for your positive feedback. I am glad you are seeing value in objective real time insights. We will continue working on simplifying the platform.

 ### 20. Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Risk quant, responsiveness, customization. Very excited to see the development of the contract analysis tools and possible quant down the road. Jackie has been so helpful throughout the whole process, and we've had a great response with our requests.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

You should be prepared to organize your thoughts/plans for setting up your categories.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Explaining risk to the business in terms they can understand- $$. Easier reporting, metrics, additional insights into our vendors, automation that will allow our team to work to the highest of their ability & experience.

 ### 21. Still learning the platform but has proven useful for macro analysis.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Principal Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

A feature I enjoy from Safe is the ability to run What If Analyses

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

I dislike the inability to fully view risk scenarios wording on a single line vs it disappering in the UI with the "..."

I would like the ability to select decimal control maturity to allow for a more nuanced selection

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previous to Safe, we were using Excel to run the Monte Carlo simulations so the migration from an excel to a cloud based CRQ solution has been a great achievement

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thanks Laura for your encouraging feedback and that you are able to now run CRQ on an automated platform. We will work on your feedback here.

 ### 22. Seamless Integration and Strong Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

What I appreciate most about SAFE Security is how effortlessly it integrates with various systems to assess our security posture. The platform's ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and provide a unified risk view is both efficient and insightful. Additionally, their customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, which makes onboarding and troubleshooting smooth.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

One area that could be improved is the flexibility of the reporting features, some customization options feel limited when tailoring outputs for differente stakeholders. We are also lacking the currency options, that currently are limited to US dolars.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you for your feedback; we are working on improving the reporting capabilities.

 ### 23. Director - Identity and Access Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha C. | Director - Identity and Access Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

SAFE is a very efficient platform which gives an aggregated view of risks - likelihood and impact.
Also provides seamless integration with various tools.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

There should more insight to data , like if there is an increase in risk score it should give the insight (like point to the exact reason why it has increased or decreased).

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is giving an insight after aggregating data form various tools as to which areas should be the focus. Specially external facing risks.

 ### 24. Laban Pelz, Centene

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laban P. | Manager, Security Metrics & Reporting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

-Serves as a single source for controls maturity, corporate risk exposure, and org assets and findings, giving multiple teams joint visibility, in security GRC and IT security.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

-Dashboard features and language requires extra study and understanding, and needs translation / clarification for executives.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves lack of an enduring, consistent visibility into control maturity, and lack such visibility into assets and findings, especially over time.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you Laban for your kind feedback. We are working to improve our modular dashboards even further - to create very easy to understand reports.

 ### 25. Secure Your Supply Chain: Cyber Risk Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal G. | Cyber security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The best thing about SAFE is that it makes risks plain and easy to understand, and it gives you practical advice for fixing them, and ease to use. Its platform replaces manual effort with agentic automation, backed by the world’s most trusted risk standards.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

SAFE Security is Good, but smaller teams could have trouble using it because of problems with integration false alerts.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teams can take action before problems worsen thanks to SAFE Security's real-time warnings and proactive risk management capabilities.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thanks Vishal for your feedback; you are able to use Safe for proactive risk management - that's awesome! We are working on further improving the quality of integrations.

 ### 26. Easy to use interface is soothing and good, simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saksham M. | TPRM consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

What I like in this tool is that it makes security a part of the process from day one. It encourages teamwork, continuous checks, and keeps compliance on track without slowing things down.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

SAFe does support security well, nothing as major.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a TPRM perspective, SAFe benefits me by ensuring that security, compliance, and vendor risks are addressed early and consistently across all teams. It encourages built-in security, regular risk assessments, and alignment with frameworks .

 ### 27. SAFE Opens Doors to Measuring Cyber Risk

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan W. | Director, Cyber GRC, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Integration of 1st, 3rd and 4th party risk into a single platform. Ability to understand how controls influence loss magnitude and loss exposure is great - allows us to focus on areas that have the greatest impact.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

A lot of upfront work to build out groups, risk scenarios and the overall platform.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identification of risks that represent the greatest loss exposure / magnitude. Benefits us by focusing resources on reducing these areas of risk. Also, alignment with Threat Center and real time updates to our risk scenarios is beneficial.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you Alan for your valuable feedback and being a supporter of Safe. Great to see that the Singularity concept (third party risk is your risk) resonates with you. Also very encouraging to see your feedback on our loss<>control modeling. We are definitely working to simplify and automate the onboarding process.

 ### 28. SAFE delivers a tool to automate FAIR, FAIR-CAM, and FAIR-MAM.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

As a long-time CRQ practitioner, the operationalization of FAIR is a program defining capability.

I appreciate the new focus on TPRM as well - No vendor caps, FAIR-MAM / FAIR-CAM

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

The downsides of Safe is Risk Analysis can feel a little bit boxed-in compared to previous iterations of CRQ tools. The focus on automation has reduced the ability to model anything (Like the FAIR Institute tool). This issue is exacerbated by organizational issues around data quality / lack of organization being able to use all integrations.

The ability to create risks, and assign values to the FAIR tree would resolve this.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1st Risk quantification
3rd party vendor monitoring

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thank you for your feedback; appreciate your support of our efforts to automate FAIR end-to-end

 ### 29. Great Product.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Safe Security products offer top-notch protection with user-friendly interfaces and reliable performance. Their proactive approach to cyber risk management helps businesses stay ahead of threats. Excellent customer support and regular updates make them a trusted choice for security solutions.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

It's a good product, no downside or issue with safe.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a customer, Safe Security helps me move from guesswork to clarity by quantifying cyber risk in financial terms. It solves the problem of not knowing which risks matter most by using a fair, data-backed mechanism that shows where I’m most vulnerable and what it could cost—so I can prioritize the right actions.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thank you for your very positive and kind feedback. '...so I can prioritize the right actions' is music to our ears - that's what our mission is - helping cyber professionals make data driven decisions.

 ### 30. Reputable product for First and Third Party Assessments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Risk profile scores are using a FAIR method calculation. Analysis is clearly delivered in platform and details associated to each vendor are easily exported/accessible.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Revenues and domains are required to capture the ALE. Some businesses have backup vendors available making the direct impact more subjective for that company.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safe is allowing our team to assess vendors with dependable data. Their backend component of assessing questionnaires and SOC 2 reports are beneficial in each vendor's overall score. Whereas before our process vetted vendors with a different risk score approach.

 ### 31. A great team always available to assist.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The support & client team are excellent.

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

The platform still needs a bit of work to make it as user friendly as possible.

Assigning risk ratings to a large vendor pool in an automated way to increase efficiency and allow more time to work on risk remediation.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

The product support. Michael was great in helping us to create meaningful risk scenarios and mapping them to current environmental controls

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Usability could be improved. The tool is not easy to understand and manipulate by yourself without product support.

**What problems is SAFE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qualitative approach to security

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> thank you Sarah for your kind feedback. We are working on improving usability.

> thank you for your great feedback. I appreciate you using the full value of the Safe platform - from first to third party risk management.

Lack of transparency on control maturity percentage calculations makes it difficult to map our controls to SAFE.

A lack of quantitative measures for risk in control deficiencies and vulnerabilities. All risks are mainly qualitative currently.

**Official Response from Pankaj Goyal:**

> Thank you for your feedback; please reach out to me at pankaj@safe.security and I am happy to explain.

 ### 38. SAFE <3

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about SAFE?**

Ability to connect to other platforms via API for data gathering

**What do you dislike about SAFE?**

Group creation and nomenclature. I would rather group creation be aligned with the standard FAIR practice of "scoping" risk scenarios. The current approach makes understanding how to approach risk assessments very confusing.
