## About SaaSy Sales Leadership
SaaSy Sales Leadership is a collection of SaaS industry veterans who have created an integrated set of SaaS management development programs. We run public cohorts for mixed company groups and run private in-house programs for larger organizations. We are the only SaaS revenue org training company that integrates EQ assessment and development into our core offerings. Without awareness of emotional intelligence competencies, revenue professionals may be taught skills that they aren&#39;t equipped to execute on (Can you imagine a sales manager with high &#39;empathy&#39;, low &#39;reality testing&#39; and &#39;low impulse control&#39; in a forecast call? **What do you like best about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

The course was split into six live sessions, each covering a different area of sales management, tailored to the SaaS industry. The variety of the content really impressed me and I felt like no stone was left unturned. From the qualities that make a great SaaS sales manager, to performance inspection frameworks, effective recruitment methodologies, sales operations and more.

The sessions took place in a novel virtual campus, which definitely helped make it more engaging.

Each session was engaging and the trainers were knowledgable.

Annotated workbooks were provided at the end of each session, which was very useful.

**What do you dislike about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

I can't think of anything I disliked about the course.

**Recommendations to others considering SaaSy Sales Leadership:**

I found it especially useful as a new sales manager, but others in the group were much more experienced and still commented on how much they learnt and the new perspectives they gained. Would recommend it to all!

I have just started my first sales management role for a SaaS company and this course has given me an amazing range of tools, frameworks and approaches to work with as a foundation for the role. Beyond the course itself, you become part of their huge network of SaaS sales leaders, which I'm sure will prove invaluable in the future.

I felt the content was engaging the entire course. I never felt disinterested or bored and the instructor really focused on the things that matters to us in saas sales.

I wish we had more time to do more practical examples or workshopping but from the limited time we have it was everything we could of asked for.

If you are looking for training content that's relevant to SaaS over general sales - this is the course for you. Be open and honest about the things you need to work on and come open minded and ready to learn. I felt the instructor with Saasy Sales really understood our business needs and how we operate as leaders in our roles which was key.

**What problems is SaaSy Sales Leadership solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most programs focus on training individual contributors and managers to "be better leaders" but Sassy Sales focuses on understanding your personality so that you can relate the decisions you make as a leader to traits you have as an individual and be more mindful of where you need to work on things.

What I found most valuable was that the teachings were not all theoretical. Matt and Carter provided specific tools and strategies that can be immediately implemented in your role.

Nothing in particular, this was the best professional development course I have ever experienced.

SaaSy Sales Leadership is excellent for new leaders looking to start their management career, but also helpful for experienced leaders. I have 9+ years of sales leadership experience, and although some aspects of the material were a refresher for me, I was also introduced to new strategies and ideas that were incredibly valuable.

Interactive and collaborative.  Great tools to continue to use afterward.  Thoughtful and sincere leadership principles.  All of the cornerstones of leadership are in the training.

Really had no downsides.  The speakers and training were stellar.  I would recommend this training to any peer.

The course attendance was low for the class in comparison to their courses in the past. More attendees could have led to more diverse conversation.

SaaSy's CS Management course is built to take existing CS Managers/Leads and help uplevel their current skill set. Personally the course helped me keep my skills sharp and consider new approaches to processes while I was searching for a new role.

The course instructor was very engaging and knowledgeable. My other classmates were motivated and insightful. It's great to learn from other industry professionals.

I felt there was too much content to cover in one 10-hour course week - it was difficult to process so much information on top of my day-to-day work. I would have appreciated spreading the content - e.g. six 90-minute sessions over two weeks.

If you learn well through a classroom-based approach, this is a worthwhile investment to fast-track your learning and development!

Matt and Carter! They bring unmatched energy to every session with real-world examples to relate to each topic we tackled in the Frontline AE Management Program.

The information I learned during this course will be carried with me throughout the rest of my sales career. If anything, I wish there were more sessions to continue learning, which is why I am excited to take some of their Sr. Sales Leadership courses.

I participated in the AE Management Program at SaasSy Sales during my 1st month as a manager. Moving from an IC into an MC position, there are many scenarios that I have not experienced yet, and this course provides a strong foundation for any new manager.

I love the interaction, and the back and forth conversations with the teachers and other classmates. 

it wasn't just aaron talking. He also asked questions that forced us to engage in topics that we needed to dissect more.

I feel like we could have used more time. We did run thru some stuff a little quicker than I would like, but I know we could probably spend all day on one topic. 

Maybe slowing down during certain topics and diving deeper into those. Maybe exercises or breakouts?

DO IT! 

Maybe it's everything you have been doing already, or nothing at all. But even if its a refresher, it helps to center and reel you back in as a leader to 
refocus where you need too.

I was having a lack of where I needed to focus so that I can better the team. I am rebuilding this team that wasn't built out yet and is a start up. 
It has been very hard for me to get an idea of where I wanted to get started, but I knew that it had to to with data. 

This course has helped me to break apart all of what I need to understand where the teams stands, what it needs to do, how we can achieve it, and actually be able to see results moving forward. I felt like I was stuck in what I needed to do or how to solve the issues we have but I have a clearer understanding of what needs to be done.

Learning the teacher's best practices and seeing how some classmates embrace similar challenges. I also like that they sent a summary of the content reviewed after class.

**What do you dislike about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

The downside was that the focus was on the teacher's experience and approach, not like general best practices. 
Also, it's too little time for such extensive content.
Sometimes I felt that it was the time  was used to pass a checklist of contents rather than diving into it

**Recommendations to others considering SaaSy Sales Leadership:**

1. Sharting specific coaching initiatives and practices to similar pains, examples of what to do to embrace volume challenge or calling evasion.
2. Share the readings before the class so you can prepare for it, at ask related questions in class.
3. Have generally reviewed best practices among all teachers. Not only teachers' method.
4. Give a playbook summary at the end
5. Have activities among peers to know each other and network.
6. Differentiate SMB of MM, its different process.
7. Price for Latam is costly.

Sassy is trying to give best practices to SDR Management to fulfill better the results role. Seeing a more robust methodology and approach to the manager's role will benefit my process by nurturing it.

Excellent instructor (Carter) and classmates. The content came to life via real-world stories/breakout sessions. The 2 hour sessions are bite sized and easy to digest (vs. a 2 day, all-day training).

No dislikes. It's a very well-run program with strong content. I also happened to have a great instructor - excellent experience.

**Recommendations to others considering SaaSy Sales Leadership:**

Reflect on what you want to get out of the course. The SaaSy Community is giant (another benefit) - ask around, read the G2 reviews, and decide if it's worth the $ and time investment.

If you value 'continuing education', staying on top of the best sales leadership frameworks...  or if you're a new leader wanting to learn the fundamentals... highly recommend SaaSy! The content stands the test of time / you can take the frameworks with you for the rest of your career.

I think of SaaSy Sales Leadership as 'continued education' for both new and tenured leaders alike. 


The content focuses on fundamental frameworks. I just started my 4th year in leadership and wanted both a refresh on leadership principles and a point of view on skills/frameworks outside of the walls of the companies I work for. 

I view the benefits as staying on top of methodologies that help you become a better leader - and therefore, better serve the teams and customers you serve.

I enjoyed the facilitator of our course who's name was Carter Perez. He did a great job keeping the class engaged by starting conversations and getting people to contribute their views and experiences. The content was shared over six days in 2-hour chunks so those working could still attend and not be distracted by their day jobs and responsibilities.

There was nothing to dislike about the content or the structure of the training.

If you want to educate yourself further or improve in certain areas, then SaaSy Sales Leadership is a great organization to leverage. They also genuinely care about the people taking part in the courses, and you can feel a sense of community being created. Matt Cameron, the CEO, is very hands-on and involved, so you should expect to hear from him at some point in your journey!

This course was a great refresher for me and covered off all of the vital and important aspects of being a frontline manager. As I look to get back into sales leadership in the near future, I now have a good foundation/framework to be successful.

The virtual campus was really unique and made the sessions more interactive and fun. It was awesome to communicate with other Customer Success Managers in similar situations because there was a lot of overlap and great collaboration.

The sessions took a big chunk out of my day and while it's necessary to "sharpen the sword" it made the past few weeks pretty stressful. Maybe it would be better to do 5 1-hour sessions per week.

As mentioned above, maybe changing the session time to 5 1-hour sessions. Or if 2 hrs a day is necessary, maybe breaking that up, like 1 hr at 10am and 1 hr at 2pm

Fantastic insight from Aaron Zukoski, a lot of wisdom, advice, and new angles to look at problems. On a separate note - a great group, a delightful and insightful experience exchange.

I'm not sure - I really enjoyed the whole course. Maybe expanding some interactive sessions, workshops, brainstorming would benefit the course, and add more interaction.

A great course - a lot of interesting insights, and it doesn't matter whether you are trying to grow a mature team of business developers or growing one from scratch.

I liked that the sessions were held at a convenient time with a range of resources available and lots of tools and further reading available to encourage further reading.

There was little that I disliked. The sessions could have been a bit longer as I felt that there was enough content and it would have been great to delve deeper into some of topics.

Great for those that who're looking to develop their understanding of the different types of channel partnerships available.

The Sassy Sales Leadership course on Partnership management was a virtual course that gave a good understanding of the basics and more. I hadn't had any training in partnerships before so it was great to confirm what I already knew and pick up some new things as well.

I enjoyed the format of the class. Coach Mike was a great teacher and led many interesting discussions and made sure to involve all parties. The virtual campus was also a cool experience.

I enjoyed the content that was provided throughout the six days.  I thought the timing of the classes was ideally spread out on appropriate days over the two weeks.  Overall the team at SaaSy was welcoming and engaging, and the platform they used for the course was super unique and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

Overall I don't have any complaints. If I had to pick out one thing, I would say that one of the instructors could have driven engagement more.  In these settings, nobody wants to be the first to engage when a question is asked.  Instead, I would recommend directing the question to someone in the class and rotating questions to all in the room.  This is even more important in a virtual setting like SaaSy uses.

If you are an IC or new Manager in the SaaS space, I highly recommend SaaSy to help with your transition.  There is a lot to learn in sales leadership positions, and building that foundation early can help your team's overall success.

As a new manager within a small startup organization, there are many things I need to learn to run my sales team effectively.  Much of my sales knowledge to this point comes from my experience as IC within large well established businesses. SaaSy provided me with a great foundation to help establish some best practices and framework for success.

It's a lot of material to cover - it requires a real time commitment to do 6 two hour sessions. But it's worth it.

Don't allow yourself to get distracted with work! Be present - every topic is valuable.
Bring the entire CS management team to the training - allows you to discuss ways to improve with the team as part of the class versus bringing ideas back to the group.

**What do you like best about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

Coach Mike was a fabulous instructor.  His presentations were always engaging and he is definitely a storyteller that is unafraid of sharing his own personal stories.  I think he built great rapport with a group of people who were a bit shy to be on camera - still, I was excited about the material and immediately wanted to put some areas into action on my own team.  We had some very bright students in the cohort that I hope to also keep in touch with in the future.  It was a group of less than 10 and I think it was a perfect size to really get to know others and learn from each other.  Super responsive team (thanks, Alejandro) to technical issues!  Also really loved the collaborative "campus" feel like we were really all present in a classroom together.

It was a bit hard for me to accommodate timewise because mornings are tough, but it wasn't anything I couldn't work around relatively easily.  I don't have anything to complain about as far as the content, format, instructor, or otherwise.

Especially if your company has a L&D stipend, I'd recommend taking this course!  I enjoyed it tremendously and will be putting so much of what I learned into practice on my own team.  Great content and an awesome instructor in Coach Mike!

I am new to managing a CSM team, and while I've already grown so much in my role, I know there is so much more to learn.  I was looking for a collaborative program where I could also meet others in a similar place or interest in their career.

Honestly, I liked it all. I took the course back in 2018 and it was very different. As a new manager at the time found tons of value in the roleplays and doing mock scenarios. Now I am at a point in my career where I want to take my skills to the next time and become the head of the global business development. This training allowed me to see what topics I should be discussing and thinking of from a strategic level.

The time spent is worth it! Invest in yourself so can better invest in your team!

I would not say there was much I disliked about the class. I would have enjoyed it there was more, but even then, we learned a lot in the time we had. I would recommend this course 100%.

1. The knowledge is vivid, and recent, and you can be sure that the people know what issues you are facing because they faced them before so your learning curve will be accelerated.
2. The community is fantastic. I've been able to bounce ideas with other Saasy Alumni through the Slack group or in a 1 on 1 meeting.

Three components that make you successful with Saasy

One of the main reasons I take saasy courses (I’ve taken 5 Courses) is their structure and how easy is to apply the learnings to my day to day..

The first one I took was the AE Sales Manager course as a first-time manager I wanted to have all the tools in order to make my team successful. With the help of Saasy I was able to get multiple frameworks to best lead, my team.

After the AE Sales manager course, I took the writing winning proposals which helped me write proposals the beauty of the course is that it's hands-on and I could take those learnings and apply them with my team as the course progressed.

The people in SaaSy are terrific and all are passionate about being better, that's contagious. But the most incredible thing about SaaSy is Matt Cameron, his energy and enthusiasm for this is unequaled, and comes from a place of being great, but also being human.

At this point, almost nothing. The only downside would be that I wish the session was longer, I could've spent months with that group devouring similar content and collaborating, which is why I'm now trying to leverage the network/community more, as well as attend future sessions.

Do it, but only when you are mentally ready to commit and be focused. Do not give it partial attention.

Unlike many sales coaches and trainers, Matt is very descriptive, precise, and even prescriptive if needed. The sessions he teaches go in great detail and length on how to lead in the complex selling world we live in. Having managed hundreds of sales reps myself and trained other managers, I can't recommend the course enough.

I liked Matt's level of detail with his training and accuracy of advice.

While I have access to a lot of content (workbooks, exercises), they did not release the entire slide deck for the course. This is understandable - if they gave out the slide-deck there might be some who choose not to attend the classes.

I love learning from those who have been in Customer Success for a long time and have seen a wider array of customer scenarios from different companies (versus just learning from those within our same org). I also enjoy how much participation is encouraged and how safe an environment is felt to speak up about anything.

The technology could have been improved as it would have audio issues when switching headphones for example, but that's the case with any new (and really cool) tech so it didn't bother me too much!

I attended a Account Manager course in Auckland. It was fantastic and grounded in lots of actual learnings that I could bring directly into my role. 

The community has also been key in my development and I haven't been part of a better community where I can get specific thought leadership and drive outcomes. 

I couldn't recommend a Saasy Sales course enough. It has greatly exceeded my expectations and has helped both my company and my career.

Update - I have also completed the VP of Sales course. It was also fantastic and would highly recommend.

I have since got my team involved who have also loved the training. It's the number 1 option for Sales and Partnership team upskilling in my books

I loved the smaller discussions we had and the ability to get to know each of my classmates. Hearing about their issues helped me with the issues I was facing at my company.

**What do you dislike about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

I wish it was in person but due to the pandemic I totally understood why it couldn't be.

**What problems is SaaSy Sales Leadership solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me become a better sales leader. I took this class because I was new to a sales leadership role. The combination of homework, intimate class and follow up was the perfect mix for me.

SaaSy Sales Leadership provided a platform for industry peers to share about best practices. They tailored a presentation on Channel Partnerships and set us up with activities so we could workshop with other channel managers.

**What do you like best about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

The virtual classroom is super fun and interactive. I think it provided a fresh way for us to be engaged as supposed to be on a video conference call. I also enjoyed the information that was shared in the presentation as it was relevant and insightful.

**What do you dislike about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

nothing. you did great. maybe have a note-taker in-house to write down all the valuable strategies that people are sharing.

**What problems is SaaSy Sales Leadership solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the struggle is real in sales so just providing a space for individuals/instructors to share content on best practices, create workshops and get people together, ultimately is solving my business pains because now I can get together with a  community of individuals who care about the same things that I do

My primary goals during this leadership training were to grow my foundational knowledge of Customer Success fundamentals & principles, and to network with others in CS to understand the more nuanced aspects of being successful in the role. I was able to meet some great people in the SaaS space and learned so much during the 6 days!

**What do you like best about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

I liked that this course was established in terms of content & information, but fairly fluid to allow for more in-depth conversation and discussions about several topics. I enjoyed the breakout rooms & activities too as it helped me apply what I learned "in the classroom" that day.

**What do you dislike about SaaSy Sales Leadership?**

I felt like we spent more time on some of the more basic/self-explanatory content earlier on in the course, but I also understand that all of this could be new/fresh ideas!

**What problems is SaaSy Sales Leadership solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaaSy Sales Leadership has equipped me to be more mindful with checkpoints that I have with my customer, and how to be more proactive & strategic when approaching conversations that I have more rarely with clients (i.e. QBR's, renewal discussions, etc.)
