What do you like best about SaaS?

- It allows the outsourcing of basic services provision advantageously.

- We reduce capital and operational expenses.

- Organizations can vary their SaaS usage capacity without having to worry about the acquisition and retirement of equipment or long deployment times.

- The time between the purchase decision and obtaining real business value is reduced to days, and it is ideal for testing and prototyping.

- We have access to SaaS applications from anywhere, just with a network connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SaaS?

- The remote availability of SaaS applications can also imply access issues if there are no robust connections when moving large amounts of data.

- SaaS users cannot control operational aspects, including being outside of security policies.

- Performance will depend on factors that are not always controllable: user activity or possible load peaks.

- Compatibility between applications can pose problems. There are integration solutions that can help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SaaS:

It works well for already established back-office products like CRM, human resources, project control, or those that require limited or easy customization. However, let's remember that SaaS is not optimal for applications that require a high level of customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Sage SaaS applications and the rest of the countless apps that follow this model demonstrate that technology can be a powerful tool. Used strategically, they become a great ally to increase efficiency, reduce expenses, and shift the IT focus to seize business opportunities. I would say it is the most suitable model for basic product applications such as email, group collaboration, file sharing, and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
