RunwayML is one of the best AI tools out there, it is straightforward. I particularly like its image/text-to-video tool which works like a magic wand, It's very easy to implement in my video editing workflow. I use it frequently to create cinematic video shots that later I can incorporate into my timeline to make full-length highly engaging videos that my viewers love. As a teaching assistant, what I like best about Runway is how accessible it makes advanced AI tools for creative projects. It’s really user-friendly, so students can quickly get hands-on experience with machine learning and AI without needing extensive technical knowledge. The variety of features—like image generation and video editing—offers lots of opportunities for students to explore and experiment with AI in practical, engaging ways. I feel that some of its more advanced features can be a bit complex and might require a steeper learning curve. The paid subscription doesn't give you a ton of credits each month, so as a newer user I have to be very experimental... Which uses credits quickly... Not a highly intuitive interface. I'm an experienced video editor, but not particularly tech-savvy. For example, I've never masted Photoshop for image editing, and prefer to use slightly less powerful but more user-friendly software. Similarly, I use Wondershare Filmora as my primary video editing software. There are other AI video creation software that may be slightly less powerful, but are more user-friendly for users like me.
