How easy the system is to use and the chat feature that allows us all to have a chinwag before the festivities begin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, you're not always able to match with the person you've been paired with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We ran cocktail sessions as part of our networking strategy for Tech Forum Singapore 2020. We had an online platform for networking and we ran a few RTW cocktail sessions. Being a very lean team, the ease of setting up the cocktail session was a major plus (took me under 5 minutes). But the best thing was that we got good feedback after each session. Participants found it fun and engaging, and posted about it! The 5 minutes ensures people talk about what matters and because each chat lasts 5 minutes and you got automatically cut before being paired up with the next person, there are no awkward 'How do I pull myself away' situations. 5 minutes really flies by and is suited even to introverts. There was nothing that I found wrong with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favourite feature about this platform is the speed networking. It's a great way to get to know your international colleagues from the comfort of your home and build your internal and professional network! You could easily move between rooms to play the games that matched your interest, we had poker, escape rooms, quizzes and lot's more. A key highlight was how intuitive the platform was, it was easy to navigate to find what you were looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What could be a great addition to the tool is an easy way to exchange contact details in the speed dating sessions i.e. social media handles. To make it easier to connect after the time limit is up! Apart from the suggestion, there was nothing I could fault about this platform. Would recommend to anyone wanting to connect with their international colleagues and have some fun. I am the founder of the Enterprise Sales Forum. Our events were 100% in person and it was a huge value that we provides to our members across our global chapters. When COVID hit, we had to pivot to virtual. We tried other platform but they either lacked the interactivity and engagement, or they simply did not perform. Run The World is both reliable AND has a great platform for networking with their Cocktail Party feature. Plus the interactivity during talks works really well with polls and chat. I would love to see a platform that can persist the networking between events. By that, I mean people that chat and connect over the Cocktail Party can continue the conversation between events. That is not as seamless of an experience, but I have heard they are working to address that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The (Named) Breakout Rooms, with Zoom, it is harder to see if you are actually getting into a conference or room that you actually like so sometimes, it is best to just exit. With Run The World, you can see where you're going and enjoy what you are going to learn and chat about! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I currently don't dislike anything at the moment but sometimes, it can be lagging a bit but it could potentially be because of the number of people on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SETUP
1. Ease of setup - minimum effort required to maintain an external / separate email list, once having those who have followed you in the app.
2. A simple registration URL link is all that is needed to be sent when inviting participants; simple and un-complicated to be an event organiser. Addition of buttons to post / advertise on soc media is a nice add-on.
3. Ease of adding speakers, and their bio's. Everyone gets to create their own; this helps with time & efficiency of getting events together.
THE EVENT
3. Speakers can come 'on' and 'off' stage by switching on or off their video; a really nice touch and replicating the feel of live events (minus the time required to walk on or off stage). This has a lot of potential, esp when introducing special / celebrity guests, where they do not need to be visible until they are introduced.
5. Quick & smooth functions to easily and smoothly "pass the mic" to anyone in the audience who wants to say a few words / ideas to the overall discussion. Their video comes up alongside, when they speak, and then the "mic" can be passed to another. An interesting feature.
NETWORKING
6. smooth transition from a speaking program into networking (1-1) and back to the main 'room', and its on-the fly setup - useful to adjust the number of 'rounds' just before starting the networking session. AND - organisers & speakers get to be involved in the 1-1 as well.
MOBILE APP
7. The handy mobile version of the app provides the organiser quick info about attendees & number of, on-the-go.
POST-EVENT & INSIGHTS
8. At-a-glance reports & post-event insights that make for meaningful measures of engagement.
9. UI & videos comes across nicely; individual videos present better - feels nearer to the person. Audio capture is great; the event recording play-back is great on sound & visual.
10. The chat / group chat function is an interesting way to bring about some conversations before, during and after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that I dislike; but there could be improvements.
To have more information that helps a purchasing decision - such as the specific feature-function at each level of pricing. eg: for creating multiple parallel rooms? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team loved the Cocktail Party and running chat feature. It was much more interactive and kept folks engaged in a much better way than a typical VC or webinar tool.
I think the interface is very slick and appealing. It feels like something that could resonate and jive with younger audiences than a Zoom as it matures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont like that there isn't an option to use RTW without each attendee having to register (as of Oc 2020).
It was disappointing we didn't have an option to have a tile view where every attendee could have their video turned on. There was confusion when people were joining that they couldnt turn their video on. Luckily, I think the chat more than made up for it because people could interact in an even more meaningful way, but would love if we could have both. (as of Oct 2020)
There wasn't a way for me to test the flow for a cocktail party ahead of time, since I didnt have any attendees to join and test with. Luckily our event was low-stakes and the feature worked quite smoothly but I wished I could have practiced the flow before show time. (As of Oct 2020) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

really ... I don't know because I am new to using the site Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the concept of Run The World, a community for networking with the ability to randomly select from the pool to speak to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not sure if it was the hosts of the event of the technology but it seemed like they were unsure how to start the networking process which wasted valuable networking time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The novelty aspect as it was my first time using it. I can see how it lights up participants eyes when using the platform as we are all looking forward to chat with the next person. Its a fantastic platform to use to network as it brings personal touch and engagement to live! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perhaps it can have a feature when we can enclose an attachment. Then we can quickly share out e-card or business proposal etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
