Top Rated Run The World Alternatives
SETUP
1. Ease of setup - minimum effort required to maintain an external / separate email list, once having those who have followed you in the app.
2. A simple registration URL link is all that is needed to be sent when inviting participants; simple and un-complicated to be an event organiser. Addition of buttons to post / advertise on soc media is a nice add-on.
3. Ease of adding speakers, and their bio's. Everyone gets to create their own; this helps with time & efficiency of getting events together.
THE EVENT
3. Speakers can come 'on' and 'off' stage by switching on or off their video; a really nice touch and replicating the feel of live events (minus the time required to walk on or off stage). This has a lot of potential, esp when introducing special / celebrity guests, where they do not need to be visible until they are introduced.
5. Quick & smooth functions to easily and smoothly "pass the mic" to anyone in the audience who wants to say a few words / ideas to the overall discussion. Their video comes up alongside, when they speak, and then the "mic" can be passed to another. An interesting feature.
NETWORKING
6. smooth transition from a speaking program into networking (1-1) and back to the main 'room', and its on-the fly setup - useful to adjust the number of 'rounds' just before starting the networking session. AND - organisers & speakers get to be involved in the 1-1 as well.
MOBILE APP
7. The handy mobile version of the app provides the organiser quick info about attendees & number of, on-the-go.
POST-EVENT & INSIGHTS
8. At-a-glance reports & post-event insights that make for meaningful measures of engagement.
9. UI & videos comes across nicely; individual videos present better - feels nearer to the person. Audio capture is great; the event recording play-back is great on sound & visual.
10. The chat / group chat function is an interesting way to bring about some conversations before, during and after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that I dislike; but there could be improvements.
To have more information that helps a purchasing decision - such as the specific feature-function at each level of pricing. eg: for creating multiple parallel rooms? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, easy to access also very easy to move between virtual room of conference Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some time it discount by his self and some times i had to get in and out again because the conference room was not available or just sounds Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Speaker / Presenter "stage" links are secure. The speaker has to login to their own account to present. Other platforms don't require a login, they have it to where anyone with the link can present. That'd be scary! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We'd love to have booths for sponsors that they can have easy call to action buttons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Run the world is a very useful app for online video meetings. The streaming quality is good and can be seen easily on even mobile phones with limited internet speed. It lets users join with voice and video and share individual screen.
I like the ability to design customized landing page for events that includes the option for sign in registration. We can also personalize with our own cover photo that members see when they log into event on mobile or computer and have the option for sign in registration. The app allows me to collect details of those who register for my event or scheduled meeting. From setup of flows to design of content, everything about the event can be easily managed from one place.
Group Conference meet section has a capacity of 1000 people, which is very generous and the video meeting can be live streamed to platforms like youtube and facebook from inside the app, which is very convenient.
Run the world also allows automatic video recording of the meeting that can be made available to all the participants once the meeting is over.
Run the world also includes casual group meet option called Happy hour with interesting fun features like group selfie, polling and cocktail that are so cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Run the world allows custom branding options for a very high price. Full High Definition Video streaming feature is not yet available, so it is challenging to share screens having text notes because the low-quality video prevents viewers from reading the text that is displayed on the screen. Another issue is that the mobile app version for android users is not well developed. Many of my invited guests and participants haven't been able to join my meetings online, causing me great embarrassment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the Intro screen options. I also like the easy-to-find list of past sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would prefer the option to join without registration. Yes, they offer "Cocktail Hour" but for business, I don't want wine glasses...party look. I prefer a Business Networking Hour and photo. I am still undecided as to how many viewers are lost because they don't want to register. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As we moved Whatagraph team to work remotely, we had to come up with new ways to keep people engaged and replace the water cooler conversations with something in the virtual world.
We are very happy we discovered 1:1 speed networking in Run The World as it helps to introduce new team members to the older ones, bring different teams together, and just have some fun.
We use different topics for each event, i.e. find 3 things you have in common; share your Whatagraph story and etc.
The video quality is great, it is super easy and fast to set up to use. Also, it is very easy to track the attendance - it is all visible in a dashboard.
I am a huge fan! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There could be more length options for the 1:1 speed-networking events; also as we are using this tool for employee engagement it would be nice to see some games (e.g. kahoots) organized in the same platform, so we would not have to use other tools for these activities. One of the best features I like about Run the World is the cocktail party. Great matching tool , with roundtables plus this cool feature after each match, that gives you the option to send your email or linkedin to the person you've just spoken to if you'd like to stay connected / have further conversations. Fantastic for building relationships and communities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a huge downside, just the framing of emails received could be more intuitive, especially the calendar options at the end of the email. It's a little tiny at the moment and often it's missed! ( how can i save this on my calendar ? ) So, events get missed when participants don't block it on their calendar. There are reminder emails to remedy this, hence, not a big issue, just a small improvement point.
As an event organiser, I don't receive notification when someone sends me a message on RTW, unless I'm on the app. So, often I don't reply till the next time I get on the app and realise it's either too late or the other person doesn't see the message as he's not active on the app. It would be useful to have options if we wanted to receive notifications via email for instance. Run The World assists me in hosting interactive virtual events for learning and socializing with groups.
The Round Table function is interesting, as it allows guests to discuss issues and meet in groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The video quality is poor. Despite using a high-bandwidth network, the video quality still has to be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The event is simple to set-up and very easy to use. I have enjoyed meeting colleagues from across the world that I normally wouldn't get to speak to. I've also enjoyed catching up with my own team - some of which I've not seen in person for nearly a year! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is that sometimes the connection is lost and you're unable to match with someone - but within 3-5 mins you're soon paired up with somebody new, so it's only usually a short wait. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A better way to get speakers integrated into the platform. I've had issues with speakers receiving the invite email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
