We recently migrated to Ruddr from another tool and just 2 weeks in we are seeing higher adoption of the tool. It would be helpful to be able to see the billing rate in the time detail report within the platform. Their cost for the platform is much less than the tool we were using. It is tedious and an easy distinction within each week the hours were submitted, so separating those hours on a weekly basis tends to get confusing. I don't even have to click submit for my time to be tracked. **What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?** I think this may be more of an internal company issue, but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming to determine which category to submit time under. Also, I personally only ever need to use the "Time Entries" section under "Time" so everything else in the UI is just noise to me. I'm sure those things are used by other people in my organization, but I just simply need to track time. Tracking my time never takes more than 2-3 minutes and I know in some situations, tracking time is a dreaded process. For me, it's so easy in Ruddr, it barely feels like a chore. A calendar integration that automatically tracks my time would be something technically feasible that would be very cool. Even if I as the user had to set up some initial mappings in order to make it work correctly. ### 18. When running monthly or weekly reports it would be nice if you could have customized templates. It's overall a clean and intuitive interface, which helps it feel simple to use. But I wouldn't mind even less numbers/words on some of the pages. It doesn't have all the necessary options for starting a new task or changing to another clients' project. The website is great, the extension is only useful for starting and stopping tasks that have already been started that day. The integration with Slack is nice. We use Ruddr as a replacement for a custom in-house solution based on spreadsheets. Copying rows from one week to the next is convenient for people on one project. **What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?** The reporting is a bit clumsy, maybe having to do with the fact that each entry is independent. Some of the defaults are not well thought out (time should default to the week view for instance). The slack integration doesn't allow you to submit timesheets. The reminders can get annoying when someone doesn't submit close to 40 hours in a week. **Recommendations to others considering Ruddr Professional Services Automation:** Understand what it does and what it's limitations are **What problems is Ruddr Professional Services Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have ~20 people across multiple projects, it has been helpful compared to a very manual process we had in place before. We're able to add new projects and new consultants into the tool with much less overhead. **Official Response from Rob Patten:** > Hi and thank you for this feedback! We are going to be making some significant enhancements to our reporting in the future. We'll be updating our filters, allowing for customization of reports, etc. Keep an eye out for those changes starting in late 2022 or early 2023. Request: Would it be possible to have more than one project admin on a project? **What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?** The admin side is difficult to navigate. -It's difficult to set up new employees. The clone feature is helpful but there needs to be a feature where you can mass add projects to a new member. Request: I wish the rudder admin documentation was in an easy-to-access place. For super admins, there should be an area where documentation is easy to find. -For the reporting side of documentation. I wish there were videos for the documentation clearly explaining benefits of a report and why a report is useful for a business. **Recommendations to others considering Ruddr Professional Services Automation:** I would say the primary benefit of RUDDR is it's integrations it has with other apps specifically QBO. It can help you automate your payroll and save you significant time. **What problems is Ruddr Professional Services Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's an easy way for our employees to upload their timesheets. and it automatically syncs with QBO. Minimall intervention is needed from our side to get an employee's payroll to them. **Official Response from Rob Patten:** > Hi, and thanks for this feedback. Coming from age-old, DOS based, buggy on-premise versions of software, that leads to loads of Excel data entry, Ruddr pleasantly surprises with ease of navigation, clear and self-explanatory positioning of menus and straightforward approval flow. **What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?** Sometimes the users are not tagged to the correct projects to claim time on. There can be a search feature added to seach for availabile projects to claim time on, based on approvers' perspective of which valid projects are available for a user. **What problems is Ruddr Professional Services Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?** No more Excel sheets, manual data entry required for time entries.
