**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

The support staff is always very responsive and helpful. Whenever we encounter issues or have questions about our account, I receive assistance promptly. Also, their receptionists are trained to sound like they are internal employees, which enhances client experience.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

The implementation process was not particularly smooth. It required about two to three weeks of trial and error before we were able to get everything up and running as we had hoped, which was quite frustrating at the time. However, I will say that Ruby's customer success team was ultimately responsive and even credited back a portion of our initial contract because of the delays in getting things set up properly.

**Recommendations to others considering Ruby Receptionists:**

Be sure to give Ruby very specific and detailed call flow instructions to avoid any confusion with their receptionists. When we first started, our directions were not clear enough, which led to some difficult calls in the beginning.

**What problems is Ruby Receptionists solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we started using Ruby, we've achieved a 100% answer rate on our company Main Line, which is a major channel for our inbound leads. Ruby has provided the extra support we needed to handle overflow calls, as well as coverage after hours and on holidays. Our customers expect prompt and efficient responses, particularly by phone, and Ruby has been an excellent partner in helping us meet those expectations.

**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

We've been using Ruby for almost four years. It's made a world of difference having Ruby answer our calls so that our front office team can stay focused and not be pulled out of work to answer timely but not urgent inquiries.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

The quality of service has gone dramatically downhill (at least for our account) over the past 10 months, while the price has gone up. We find a lot of messages are billed to us at 5-minutes call-time but the details passed to the team are scant or incorrect. Calls have become very misdirected and when we've tried to help (with better scripting, redirecting message feeds with our own automations, etc) it hasn't gotten better. This then frustrates clients, who feel like their calls aren't being taken seriously and then have to repeat themselves or try other ways of reaching us. We recently cancelled our account with Ruby and felt like they didn't even really care we were leaving (which made leaving easier, actually). This is a disappointing ending for us, especially since we had built custom automations to ingest Ruby messages and deliver them to our team in the ways they preferred to receive them (Slack, Airtable, Gmail).

**Recommendations to others considering Ruby Receptionists:**

I was referred to Ruby by a small law firm and can see why Ruby is an excellent solution for a streamlined business like that. Call handling is important and Ruby always answers; just make sure your business isn't too complicated to outsource.

**What problems is Ruby Receptionists solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ruby's virtual receptionist services help us manage our time as a small business without frustrating customers who expect someone to pick up on the other end of a call. As a small business, it's distracting to field solicitation calls and Ruby filters those out before they reach our team. They also help us manage the occassional after-hours calls without having to deploy our own employees to do so.

**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

Calls are screened to cull out solicitors.  Take messages and send to email.  Great digital platform allowing call back from cell phone with option to have office number as ID.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

One of the more expensive options.  Receptionist quality has been decreasing, thus getting names incorrect and letting solicitors get through.  Had a receptionist the other day who didn't know how to pass call to me.

**What problems is Ruby Receptionists solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Screening calls to make inquiry as to whether a new client, existing client, or solicitor thus saving time and allowing me to manage calls taken or callbacks based on priorities I set.

**Describe the project or task Ruby Receptionists helped with:**

We have Ruby answer all incoming calls for our business so that our team can focus on the tasks that are important to our clients, and not have to field spam calls etc. Ruby does a great job being a gatekeeper, and giving legitimate callers a fantastic first impression.

**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

We love not having to answer all calls, and do any gatekeeping. We're able to set parameters for Ruby on how to route or handle calls appropriately. Well worth the money!

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

Sometimes, not very often, but sometimes we've had a client call in and say that the person who answered the phone wasn't very friendly. However, thankfully this is a rare occurance!

**What problems is Ruby Receptionists solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have to hire a full-time receptionist to handle our relatively low call volume... so Ruby does a great job handling all of the spam/solicitor calls, while also routing appropriate calls through to our team.

They take messages for our team members. It's not much more than this.

**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

They are pleasant answering the phone and anytime I call with changes to our account or roster they're super nice. I like that they send a confirmation email about our customer service calls.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

I wish they could schedule a call-back time with people requesting a callback. We don't have individual lines so we often miss clients and then have to play the message game until they finally succumb to communicating via email, which is what we prefer. It would be ideal if they could also schedule appointments for new clients. I also wish clients had an option to leave a voice message that would then be emailed to us. Sometimes they are not willing to divulge private data to a person but would give greater detail in a private message.

**What problems is Ruby Receptionists solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our staff can get their work done without constant interruptions from client calls. Existing clients know the drill, we work very well and efficiently through email. New prospects and clients find this is an easy transition to a virtual firm because they can still call and get their questions to the right people.

The receptionists are pleasant when answering the phone.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

They can really only answer the phone, besides that there isn't very much they can do .. it would be ideal if they could schedule appointments, answer questions about my company, etc. Very little personalization. I would like to have a designated team to work with rather than the whole company.

Cost outweigh the benefits.

Ruby provided an answering service for our law firm that allowed us to step away from the phones and get work done.

**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

The "call out" feature was the best thing about Ruby. You are able to ask a Ruby receptionist to call a client or a PNC and relay your message essentially acting as a personal assistant.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

We felt Ruby had dishonest billing practices. There were a few months when we audited our call logs and there were discrepancies between the calls made and the time billed. Also, there is no clear explanation of the billing model - even our Ruby representative once said, "I know this is confusing - it took me 2 years to figure it out"

evaluate the billing system and determine if you would feel comfortable with their vague and confusing billing structure

we are no longer using Ruby because despite the positive aspects and useful tools, we lost confidence in them and their ability/willingness to bill us honestly and transparently.

Ruby does a great job managing the call routing for our organization.

**What do you like best about Ruby Receptionists?**

Ruby's very friendly customer service! They are quick to respond and handle our complicated routing directions with ease.

**What do you dislike about Ruby Receptionists?**

I wish Ruby were able to see our client list in Salesforce so that they could look up the correct contact to forward calls to in real time vs. us having to provide a PDF when account reassignments happen.

Ruby handles all of our incoming calls and the best benefit is that they can screen out unwanted calls.

Love the app. It's very easy to use and allows for calling others from cell phones.

It's expensive; don't allow use of personalized intake forms.
