What problems is RTA Fleet360 solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are several things that Fleet360 solves for us. The primary benefit is getting vehicles in for PM's; the new Fleet360 can automatically run a PM report and parse out the e-mail list to our customer/department contacts. This lets each group know what vehicles are due, past due, or when they will be due for their next service so they can better schedule with our service writers when to bring vehicles in for service.
We also use this for our Parts department inventory management. Having a robust inventory is key to keeping our vehicles on the road and not waiting on parts. The inventory management helps us order the correct items, in the correct number, to keep the fleet operational.
Reporting is another major part of keeping our fleet operating smoothly. Replacement recommendation reports and work histories are key drivers in our replacement policy and help us continue to keep the Fleet as modernized as possible to reduce overall major breakdowns and the vehicles with their user groups performing the tasks the City needs to operate.
