Rossum is very easy to use. Whether PDF files or images, you can easily read out the data. Just load the file into the program and the program recognizes the text. To check for correctness, a split screen is shown: on one side you see what the program has read, and on the other side you see the corrisponding text highlighted on the image. This way you can check quickly the correctness of the OCR. Tables can also be traced so that they are in the correct formatting, this is something I have been missing in similar programs. I like that Rossum is really fast and you can oversee the digitizing process yourself rather then letting some other service provider do the job. So if there are any questions with the invoices you can solve them on the go. No need for sending info and invoices back and forth.

I think the only downside is that there are still some types of receipts that Rossum doesn't understand that well but given that thousands of invoices get done automatically it's not that big of a deal and I can see that its learning every day so I am not that worried :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple queue schema configuration with constantly improving accuracy on extracting specific data points. Reducing 15-20minutes of human processing work, to about 20 seconds or less.

Multiple queues for different extraction logic and types of documents means we can automate further based on invoices/documents customers send to us.

We've tested with different products and we can say that Rossum's AI technology is one of the best available in the market right now. The platform is rapidly changing and we have seen gradual improvements to the extraction accuracy over time. Additionally, the tool is very user friendly and the API is very easy to integrate with. There were some invoices that the platform had some difficulties extracting, particular invoices with non-standard, complex layouts. A custom dedicated AI engine and recurring training of the AI may help with these invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
