What do you like best about Rollbar?

The support I have gotten from Rollbar has been great. I can go to Anton and Nico at any time and they provide me incredibly fast response and solve my needs.

I really like the dashboarding and visualizations that Rollbar provides. Being able to distinguish anamolies has been helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rollbar?

Reporting and billing could use help. I typically have to go to someone at Rollbar to pull the data I need for reporting on usage. It seems they have tools to provide this data, but would like to see it provided to me as a user.

I am not as happy with the new UI. It is much harder to consume and figure out where the problem is coming from. Since using the new UI, I have trouble identifying where in the code the issue is coming from. Before, that was much easier to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rollbar solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use rollbar during incidents. When we identify a service that is having an issue, we can go to Rollbar and see the trends of logs and identify if something has changed, or if that is just a reoccuring issue. I would like for us to lean more into it's capabilities.

We do have alerting for anomalies which is very helpful. We were able to identify a panic in one of our services which we otherwise would have missed. So it's alerting of issues is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rollbar?

Rollbar has been intrumental in helping Snipe-IT/Grokability make sure our customers' experience is as smooth as possible. We're able to reduce the time from defect creation to defect detection to nearly immediate, giving us the ability to push out fixes so quickly that the customer sometimes doesn't even notice the bug. What do you dislike about Rollbar?

The search can be a little clunky. Trying to find issues for a specific domain name takes a bit more work than I'd like, and sometimes times out if there are a lot of errors to report on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rollbar?

It's straight forward to integrate, the dashboard UX is pretty good and the way we can take actions on each exception is really well designed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has been lacking out of the box support for a few of the new JS frameworks like NextJS and Remix (we've been talking about this issue tho, they are into it) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rollbar?

The freemium offering makes the solution a great fit for a startup to ensure that error monitoring is covered. The capability scales up with the organisation and event volumes; it's been useful to me and our org from 1 person to 600. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rollbar?

Lack of safeguards is a minor annoyance. In the event that our app, or Rollbar config, is misconfigured it's possible to blow through volume tier allocations for the month in a bad day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rollbar?

It's easier to use than looking at logs for debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rollbar?

The error grouping. Errors with the same/similar names but different stack traces, e.g. a connection timeout create many Rollbar items. Errors grouped and displaying the different stack traces would help a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monitor for to many client errors. Debugging failed jobs by finding their stack trace. We retry the job and search for the recent errors to debug. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rollbar?

The ability to quickly see issues after a release. We monitor each release as soon as it goes out using Rollbar. It has automated this process for us every day we use it!

Rollbar grouping errors, so we as a team can see what is the most frequently occurring issue and can target modern updates to these areas first. What do you like best about Rollbar?

How easy and simple it is to use! Its integration with Slack is amazing. I don't have to constantly look at my e-mail or the website.. I can just go about my workday and check the slack channel whenever there's an error reported. It also keeps the rest of the team informed of what's happening.
