What do you like best about Rocket Database Connectors (formerly a Micro Focus product)?

I love the fact that there is no application re-writing, which is a tremdemdous time sink. And you can access the data using programs you know like Excel. It sets a new bar for the competition! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocket Database Connectors (formerly a Micro Focus product)?

Sometimes the learning curve can be a little steep, but given the overall performance it's worth it. At times, it's been hard to reach customer service but this has been rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rocket Database Connectors (formerly a Micro Focus product) solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest issue we encountered was with bringing in new staff members and the associates onboarding. Micro Focus took a lot of that pain away with how streamlined it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rocket Database Connectors (formerly a Micro Focus product)?

Its great tool which helps in transitioning legacy cobol flat files to advanced relation databases.

Using standard cobol code to include DB2 SQL syntax is time consuming and also lead to compilation error if done wrong but MIcrofocus DB connectors solve the issue by automating SQL syntax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocket Database Connectors (formerly a Micro Focus product)?

Sometimes old KSDS and other flat files reading and auto conversation is confusing and needs realigning to avoid compilation errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Legacy modernization with automatic data mapping from legacy cobol file fields to advanced RDBMS tables.
