Visually its really appealing in some ways Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer service was beyond terrible. Turnover in all departments, They lied about offering refunds and burried details in the fine print. The product is not ready for prime time and should stay in beta for a while - which means they should not charge users for an unfinished product. When you have an issue, its a disaster - the CS team is petty and just awful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Interface is smooth from a transitions perspective, not buggy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product itself doesnt have much substance especially as a standalone. Plenty of better alternatives, including Aha, or even some of the widely available jira plugins. Not sure how this product is sustaining itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to quickly create several visuals of a roadmap based on a single data set. Different stakeholders in our organization need access to a different level of Roadmap data so the ability to serve it to all of them based on one dataset saves us quite a bit of time. Like any fixed web-based tool, you are limited to what the tool will allow you to do UI wise and sometimes run into limitations if you want to indicate an exception or some kind of caveat on the timeline. So far, we always found ways around it using existing tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease to add new elements and some of the features to have a couple of ways of visualize, by element and by swim lane, modifying the grouping on the buckets and the rows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think some of the visualizations are limited and functionality only becomes available on the higher cost versions, which are rather expensive, as you try to use it as a collaborative tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best feature of Roadmunk it the ability to group multiple product roadmaps into one larger master. This helps with multi phase development where you have different enhancements coming out for the same parent product. I also am a fan of the Milestones, as a Product Manager I can set larger milestones that drive launch activities while the engineers can implement gates that I can align on. A bit buggy for my taste. I would like to see more slippage tracking. E.G if we miss a key date being able to track how far we missed it by and have a historical record of that would be useful. They have a key date system but it is cumbersome and I have not been successful implementing it. I understand they are a startup and I think they have a good start to a product. I like that this tool is really simple and visual. I needed something that I could use to quickly and easily get my thoughts and roadmap items in a visual format. We use Jira to manage the actual engineering work, but I wanted something simpler to have strategy and prioritization discussions with leadership, Roadmunk was perfect for that. My only real gripe is that sometimes the software isn't fast enough to keep up with what I'm doing. There are instances where I'm moving stuff around quickly within the timeline views and have to wait for the software to "catch up" or in some instances, the change won't get made because I worked too fast. With it, you can build a roadmap not only for a product or project, but also to visualize sprints and plan releases. The service allows you to visually present the product roadmap, link the global strategy with the roadmap processes, identify and evaluate ideas, collaborate with all stakeholders (including customers and non-technical colleagues), integrate with third-party systems. Only English is supported, no application on phones, no free fare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I absolutely love the way Roadmunk allows us to visualize our product timelines. We are a start-up and I am not an engineer, but I work with the engineering team on a pretty regular basis. I absolutely love the UX, especially the timeline view. It really makes strategy meetings more workable and allows for the whole company to participate in product planning and strategy discussions more effectively. We're also able to integrate with Trello which is a big help since engineering uses Trello for product stories and project management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, when we have multiple milestones or projects, the UI gets a little muddied because they overlap, but otherwise, there isn't much else I dislike about Roadmunk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Roadmunk is the best platform for any user. There is a collective use - and this is a huge advantage for the team working on the project. He owns a huge functionality and at the same time visually appealing. Great service support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took us some time to adjust it the way we needed it. But the product works well and there are no difficulties in the functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm very glad that there is an opportunity to customize it the way I want. Roadmunk is an excellent tool for any audience. There is a shared use - and this is a big plus for the team working on the project. It has great functionality and, at the same time, visually attractive. Excellent service support. Roadmunk is quite an expensive software product, but it justifies its value. It took us a while to adjust it the way we needed it. But it justifies itself in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
