Regardless of any business size, it fits well into any Organization's product management. It is a cloud-based product/project management solution. It can make visual road models visible for all staff members. It has readily available preset themes, which saves a lot of time. The interface is relatively smooth. The usual project management requirements, i.e., Sprints, can be maintained. Plus, we also have the option of importing data from Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is pretty expensive. However, we get a free 14-day trial of the product. Even though importing data is easy, it is not easy to export the roadmaps. There is also no support for smartphones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about roadmunk is the flexibility it gives you right out of the gate. Many times, there are steep learning curves within platforms like these that are de-motivating. Roadmunk has a variety of features that allow you to tailor your roadmap for any audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I am still learning is how to properly track dependencies from sub-items, but other than that, it is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love all of the functionality it offers, but my favorite part is how easy it is to use and understand. The UI is very clean and makes it easy for collaborators to look at the swim lanes or full picture and know what they're looking at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It only offers two different views to see your information, in a swim lane type of way and an epic/category way. While I get that, I wish it would be more robust maybe in the Agile field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very focused on roadmaps and feedback modules that inlets data into the roadmap.
Build by product managers for product managers.
Only does a few things but does them really well.
Like the simple and straightforward UI.
Flexible data structure with custom fields.
Everyone in my company that started using the tool, got a good handle on it without much handholding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They should improve on their sharing features. Their auto-publishing linking feature broke multiple times.
Their shared link provides a low-quality dumb version of the roadmap. I am guessing that's a marketing trick to encourage getting more licenses, but the shared link UI is atrocious.
If not for this link sharing issues, I would've rated this product 10/10, because its a life safer for me and my company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the roadmap tool and after a few format tweaks they are presentation ready.
I also like the publish url feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometines, items in the all data view take a lot of time to refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the possibility of managing more than one roadmap from the same map.
It is a great tool, and they have improved a lot over the years.
I started working with them when they were a much simpler and less sophisticated tool.
that did not even allow modifying changes once made.
They have made it possible to undo changes, they have included a master roadmap, they make it possible to export the graph in different ways, they allow you to work and load your initial fields with Excel.
Colours, sharing views, they has a nice tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you work with more than one team or more than one epic, the chart-view, the size of the grid is too big. Also, the way that represents it in a roadmap is not good enough.
the downside is date changes or movements, and not being able to understand these changes as the change is applied, but you don't see that change, the icons don't show that once the roadmap time period started, there was a delay.
This causes that month after month we have had to "print" in advance, month after month each roadmap to be able to compare ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Configurable roadmap views, bi-directional integration with Jira Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User management is poor. Having bi-directional access to Jira tied to a single user ID. Only one owner per project Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it complies with what it promises turns out to be something quite attractive, since there are already many tools that do not comply with everything that they are supposed to comply with, however with Roadmunk it is not the case, the fact that Allow me to plan the products and services that I intend to offer in a much simpler, more practical and efficient way. It is something quite perfect and practical for me, since that way I can improve all my products and services in a much easier and faster way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately it has many negative points, its interface for example could be much easier to handle, the fact that it has basic and elementary functions for this type of system (such as erasure of information) I consider a rather serious failure , if we talk about its performance well ... although it is not the best there is, it is not the worst, but I still consider it quite low, its customer service team is quite slow (and when I say enough I mean quite ) when responding to any questions or problems we may have.
