It is a product which is always being updated and try to fit the new neeeds in the market. The setup to source system and overall is very fast and it is good product for fast developing! We do recommend it for other customers. I personally love working with all of the teams in Rivery (support, product, SA, account mangers). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some basic concepts which needs to be improved to be a better product:
1. More user friendly error messages. This will also avoid opening unwanted support Tickets.
2. There are basic variables in the processes, which are missing and needs to be like in any other ETL tools (file_name, path of filename, how many rows loaded and how many rows had been read)
3. Need to expend searches in user support portal
4, The support team needs to be expeneded.
5. Documentary improvement.
6. To have bank of examples / kits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rivery dramatically shortens the development time. They automated and simplified the most common ETL challenges.
A few examples:
- It manages the target schema automatically, it takes care of the DDLs for you
- It manages incremental extraction from systems like Salesforce or NetSuite
- It breaks the data from Salesforce.com into chunks, in case the response crosses the Salesforce API limits.
(These are just a few examples out of many)
- Lots of kits
Another thing I like is that Rivery's support is super responsive and very professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Sometimes I encounter minor bugs, which are typically fixed right away
- At the moment, a BigQuery to Snowflake ETL cannot be implemented as a "source to target" River. This needs to be implemented using a logic River and a target variable which is not that elegant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rivery is an incredibly user-friendly platform that stands out for its stability and exceptional customer service. Not one day goes by without us using Rivery—it’s been a massive time-saver, significantly boosting productivity for me and my team. What makes it perfect for analysts like us is the full ownership and autonomy it offers over our pipelines and processes, empowering us to manage our data with confidence and efficiency. The only downside is that Rivery doesn’t have all our data sources available as ‘ready to use’ connections. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the many advantages the platform offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rivery has a wide range of connectors to marketing platforms which has meant that we were able to connect to all platforms used at our company through a single tool and easily configure reports. Their customer success support was really great during implementation. We now have rivers that pull data daily for analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rivery has really helped us to centralise our marketing data, however, we do not make use of the transformation side of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Rivery for marketing APIs has really streamlined the process of pulling data from multiple marketing platforms and centralizing it for analysis and reporting. By far the best thing about my own experience with Rivery has been the attentititve customer support, clear onboarding/suppotr process, and regular check ins. I primarily use Rivery as a data onboarding tool, while preferring to handle data transformation within other tools like Alteryx or Snowflake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform continuously expands its range of data sources, enhancing its utility for scheduling automated scripts and organizing ETL processes. The structured layout is highly effective, and the addition of conditional container steps has been particularly beneficial for implementing complex case logic within workflows. It would be helpful to have a simplified visualization of data pipelines, especially when rivers are nested within each other Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing that is missing, in my opinion is an integrations to Slack and PagerDuty in case an ETL (river) has failed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sometimes, when I connect to different data sources, documentation is missing, or alternatively, not all the fields I need from the report are available, and then I have to think of another solution." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When considering Rivery, you should be mindful of a few factors. Firstly, the cost might be a concern depending on your budget constraints. Take the time to carefully evaluate the pricing structure and ensure that it aligns with your organization's financial considerations.
Additionally, while Rivery is designed to be user-friendly, there might be a learning curve for some users. Effectively utilizing all the features of the platform could require training and support to ensure optimal use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
