"Excellent choice"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

I was hesitant to try Riverside because so many folks recommended other platforms. However, riversid makes recording my podcast super easy. I did not have to be an expert or hire an engineer to get started. I look and sound amazing so I am happy I chose Riverside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

I wish it integrated with more platforms for exporting which would help with storage etc. right now it only exports to descript and I used another platform. If it could work on integrations that would be great!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Riverside Delivers Great Quality and Super Helpful Post-Production Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

I like using RIverside much better than Zoom for my podcast interviews every-other-week. The audio and video quality is much better and I love all the post-production tools and resources available to me after I finish recording, they are super helpful. Awesomely easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

I really can't think of anything. My friend advised me to switch to Riverside, and I'm so glad I did. I haven't needed to use customer support yet but he also told me they are stellar if I ever need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"very happy with riverside"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

What I like best about Riverside.fm is its AI editing. It takes what is usually the most time-consuming part of podcast production and makes it effortless. The AI automatically removes silences, tightens up conversations, and helps produce a professional-sounding episode in a fraction of the time—without sacrificing quality. It lets me focus more on the content and the conversation, rather than getting stuck in post-production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

What I like least about Riverside.fm is the long export times. After an otherwise efficient recording and editing process, waiting for exports can be frustrating and slows down the overall workflow—especially when working on tight timelines. Reducing export time would make the experience feel truly seamless from start to finish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Constantly Improving Editing Tools That Make Editing Faster and Easier"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

The editing tools are constantly evolving and it makes it easier and quicker to edit than exporting and doing everything in Final Cut Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

I'd like more control over the editing - especially cleaning up the sound and the lighting. I like the feature that makes the eyes look at the camera, but they still need some work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile, High-Quality Remote Recording Made Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

Riverside has some great features and the fact that you can record with someone remotely and receive full quality raw files is awesome! Also I love that they are constantly improving and adding new features as well. The software is really easy to use and it has a lot of versatility for different types of production (video recordings, podcasts, live streams, etc.). I am currently using Riverside much more often that I expected and plan on testing out more feature soon! It has been really easy to implement into my current workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

The software layout is a bit confusing and it almost seems like in an attempt to make it as user friendly as possible it has become more of a burden to find certain things (there's also multiple ways to do each thing which can be confusing.) I was also struggling to find information on certain features, for example I (as the producer) was hoping to run the teleprompter for my host but after an hour of tinkering I was not able to figure it out. "Riverside Scales Beautifully with Superb Support and Great Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

Riverside grows with your needs, the support is superb, the price is excellent and the ai intelligence is just right Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

I originally told people to download Chrome. And for an app that's cloud based people were used to only logging on via zoom and not having to download anything which caused me NOT to use Riverside and 3 occasions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Riverside is Great For Rural Creators"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

As someone who started this podcast with unreliable internet in a rural community, it was invaluable that Riverside records the files locally and uploads them later. It made interviews that would have been nearly impossible to record with decent quality audio and video become well-produced podcast episodes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

So the thing that has bugged me about it, and I think this is mostly fixed now, but the edit function, and especially when I tried to download an edit from the web, it would crash my browser. I could eventually get it to work, but it would sometimes take multiple tries to get it working well enough to download the edit I wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Smooth Recording Edits and Promo Clips Made Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

I like how it helps me organize and edit my recordings, often creating clips I can use to promote the show and come up with titles. It runs fast and well, and helps with creating promo or taking out pauses for a smoother finished product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

some of the tools that are being tried out for a smoother video still aren't so polished, so i don't really use them. I also wish there was an easier way to add different videos on different tracks for easier editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An all-in-one platform that made launching and running my podcast possible"
5/5
What do you like best about Riverside?

Launching a podcast is a big process, so having a platform that simplifies everything has been incredibly valuable. Riverside makes it easy to record high-quality remote interviews with local recordings and separate audio and video tracks, which gives peace of mind that conversations are captured clearly.

What I love most is that it has become a full ecosystem for creators. I can record, edit, and now host my podcast Her Brave Story in one place. Being able to upload and distribute episodes directly to platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube has simplified my workflow tremendously.

The interface is intuitive and feels like a creative space to work in, which makes producing episodes enjoyable rather than stressful. Having recording, editing, hosting, distribution, and analytics all in one place has made producing my podcast much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Riverside?

Like any platform with a lot of powerful features, there can be a bit of a learning curve at the beginning when getting familiar with everything available.

That said, the team provides helpful resources and workshops, and support has always been responsive when questions come up. Once the workflow is understood, the platform becomes very straightforward to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
