It's simple to use and it's never been easier to interview guests for my podcast. All I do is send them a link and it takes care of everything else for me. I even had a guest with bad internet and riverside did all the work to make sure the audio stayed synced each time the reconnected. I couldn't imagine using anything different. I often need to record interviews with subjects around the world. Riverside has been the perfect platform for me for ease of use and quality. I used to always have to battle poor internet connections resulting in low resolution and glitchy recordings that often times were barely usable. Unless I'm missing something, you can't use a virtual background in Riverside. Although I much prefer having the actual background for recordings, I occassionally come across subjects who would prefer the option to have a virtual background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For the past few years I hopped around from one podcast platform to the next always searching for the quality features I wanted my podcast to have -- from the video/audio quality to a host of other features like teleprompters. Hands down Riverside is the BEST EVER! And the price is very inexpensive for what they offer. I can even host my webinars and other video content. YOU WILL BE VERY PLEASED! I really like the AI features that assist in the editting process. It makes it so much easier to edit an episode for my podcast and I like that I have options on how I can use AI so that I can still ensure there is a human aspect to the edits. It has been so easy to use and helpful in launching a podcast.

I still find it a struggle to find the right mix for best sound quality episodes. Each episode seems to fluctuate and it is hard to adjust any audio settings once you are recording. The best part of Riverside.fm is the ability to edit a self-recorded episode of your podcast with ease. You do need to know how to navigate the dashboard and understand production terms, but, it's simple and easy to use for a seasoned technical marketer. It integrates easily with Spotify for Podcasters and other podcast distribution channels. I use it 3-4 times per month for my podcast episode with guests and without. Their customer support is faily responsive too and the Facebook Group has lots of interaction and learning for those who don't have the budget to pay for the training . Riverside is a useful, intuitive video/audio editing software that functions in-browser. It uses AI to create a transcript after you're done recording, which you can use to edit or mute specific people or words. Magic clips makes creating market-ready clips as easy as hitting a button. Not much to be honest. I feel like there are plenty of features that make the product great. There are always little tiny things, but they seem to fix those pretty often.
