## About Riskonnect Claims Management
Ventiv Claims is a claims administration system that is comprised of one or more Claims Management modules and a variety of supporting modules, including Absence Management, Enterprise Legal Management, Workers’ Compensation, Policy Management, Billing Management, Claims Intelligence, Corrective Action Plans, and Incident Reporting. The system was designed as a claims management system from the perspective of claims examiners. Designed to make it easy to manage claims, it includes functionality like diaries, business rules, workflow management, notepads, and financial management. Ventiv Claims enables users to define custom workflows tailored to each client’s specific business process, to make claim, document, and policy administration more efficient. Ventiv Claims offers an “out of the box” solution to clients. At the same time, the Ventiv Claims architectural design was developed with the fundamental requirement of flexibility to adapt to meet the changing business requirements of clients. The system modules, fields, interfaces, and reports are user configurable so that Ventiv Claims can be adjusted to meet most organizational processes without custom programming.

I like that my IT team can build custom template to fit our immediate needs. I understand that my company is unique in that we have an in-house team that provides expertise and support that other companies may not have.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

The reporting tools are not as flexible for the end user. IT involmemt is necessary if I need to add fields. I wish I could do this on my own.  My own clients seem to think it is this easy.  And they get fussy when I explain it is not.

My role requires me to pull data and analyze trends.  If there is a problem - it is usually addressed by our IT team.

As a claims adjuster the system is user friendly, easy to navigate, easy to continue maintenance of claims, and the functionality allows for us to customize to our needs.

The options available is some of the tabs are slim compared to the amount that we would like to see. I wish there were better search functions to find specific claims easier if we are missing certain information.

They are quick to assist when something goes wrong including getting meetings scheduled for support.

Staying on top of compliance updates so we are ready to go for new rules.

There doesn't seem to be enough internal testing / QA as each update received arrives with new bugs.

Claims management, automation for document flows, state forms & compliance handling. 

Bring expandable with external scripts to add much more functionality.

The reporting tool is very difficult to use.

Ventiv creates patches to address functionality issues, improve security or add new features regularly.  Clients can immediately upgrade to a new release to fix software issues or problems.

I run a lot of reports in Ad Hoc and really like that feature. If it had a way to automatically create pivot charts / graphs too, that would be great!

We are currently looking to use a field that is numeric only that we need to add a mix of alpha/numeric data. It wasn't an issue we anticipated as we customize fields.

I think the modules and ease of use. I like the new dashboards and plug-and-play format.

The security around being able to clearly know when users logged and logged out of the CE platform.

Ventiv is solving the claim management problem of managing four adjusting offices. Also, Ventiv has assisted with the new and updated regulatory changes within Workers' Comenpesation.

The out of the box version of Ventiv Claims Premier is very user friendly. It provides all of the basic functionality needed for claims adjudicating.

There is not a lot that I dislike about Ventiv claims. I would say one thing would be that because it does offer a lot of functionality out of the box there are some features that can be changed because it would affect the application for all users.

It is helping our staff adjudicate claims. They are constantly adding functionality to help use AI and bench marking to improve claims handling.

The upsides of using Ventiv Claims are that the system is modified for our use and that we have been able to integrate third party system use into CE.

Personally, I have had to learn about all the system features on my own or through word of mouth.

I like the flexibility of the user interface, the power of business rules and the functionality of ad hoc reporting. I also really like the people we work with -- they put in effort to help us move forward.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

We struggle with business rules working at the claim vs claimant level. The terms are used interchangeably in the product documentation but the reality is most rules work at the claimant level and not the claim level. When you have claims with multiple claimants, this is a problem. We've also found the product documentation on business rules to not always clearly describe how the rule works and how the conditions are applied to the rule. It woudl be great if that could be more detailed. We would really like to be able to validate/interact with fields on different screens than the screen you are saving from. Hopefully, the UI redesign gets us closer to that.

It's easy to do many things that would take a long time to do manually. I also like the task scheduler and the ability to schedule complex custom tasks as needed.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

Difficulty in updating and doing custom configurations. There are times when things seem to stop working without any changes being made, and solutions are difficult to come by. A lot of processes also seem to be manual, and it would be nice to have them be able to be done automatically, such as the sending and ingesting of data to third parties.

Tracking worker's compensation claims and payments.

I love using the Reporter and Scheduler tools. They are very user-friendly and very helpful in doing my monthly reporting.

We have not upgraded to the most current product, and therefore, we have trouble with using our Notepad and using our pointer. We have extra lines using Notepad.

One of my functions is preparing 1099s annually. By using the Scheduler function, I am able to run a series of reports which will look for any discrepancies in our data. This tool has been so helpful by pinpointing and directing me to the errors that need to be addressed.

The ease of access to our claim data has allowed us to make internal improvements in handling our claims. We are able to easily identify trends and make necessary recommendations to our members based on the data.

The ticket site can be frustrating. Sometimes it feels like the staff is unfamiliar with the products and insurance industry. Responsiveness and communication are lacking.

The core Claims Enterprise product is stable, performant and scales well.  
The product provides good tools for customizing the application and implementing custom business rules, workflows, and granular role-based access controls.
The new reporting and dashboarding functions are vastly improved over the previous versions.
Front-end support (trainers, business analysts, product managers, etc.) is knowledgeable and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

System documentation is often of poor quality or out of date.
The product is often slow to adopt support for modern platforms and technical standards.
Support for custom development is awful; we have several client-specific developments and constantly have to reject new releases due to obvious show-stopping defects.   "Fixes" often don't work or break something else.    In general, it feels like a lower "standard of care" is applied to client-specific development.

Ventiv Claims helped us modernize and streamline our business. It enabled us to consolidate multiple systems with different processes and standards into a unified solution and finally move away from many manual and paper-based activities.   This has provided benefits in the quality and consistency of outcomes and enhanced our business intelligence and reporting capabilities.

Our adjusters are happy with it, it seems to be a good solution for claims handling from an end user perspective.

It seems like there are frequent bugs, issues, and other roadblocks that make administering the system a challenge. Reporting and business rules do not always function as expected.

Claims Enterprise allows us to administer claims for our clients, including adjuster notes and diaries, file documentation, reserves, and payments. From an administrative side we are able to extract data in a limited fashion for our business partners.

It is configurable for a lot of things so we can get solutions out to our claims team.  It is also massive, lots of options.

Anything that requires code to fix seems to take a long time to get applied to our production environment.

Many.  It is finalizing a long-term solution for ISO Claim Search, setting up links to our new Document system; setting up 3 dashboards for us; finalizing our Non-Recoverable Deductible/SIR workflow; finishing up Auto Assign.

the system is very user friendly and have made training new adjusters much easier process. Many of our adjusters have never had prior experience with ventiv or workers compensation claim handling and Ventiv has been pretty easy to use and navigate for them .

When there is a hiccup, it takes a long time to correct.

On a loss run report we have our logo on the report dependant on the company we ran the report for and Ventiv wasn't pulling the logo correctly. We needed the logo on the report to share with the customer.

The speed of the product is good and allows our team to be more efficient than our previous product.

The development lifecycle is a major issue that we have discussed with Ventiv.  We also have troubles with the service from the support team.

We handle 40,000+ claims a year and Ventiv is our primary claims management software.  When it comes to claims handling, we are more efficient.

Systems are easy to understand and user-friendly.  Support is always quick and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

No downside that I have encountered.  Minor IT work seems to be farmed out sometimes, which can make the turn-around a little slow, but this is understandable.

**What problems is Riskonnect Claims Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently working through an extensive upgrade project, which comes with its share of problems. However, Ventiv is always there for us when we need their help.

Once Ventiv assigned a  Customer Success manager to us, work life has been amazing working with Ventiv. Ventiv customer support doesn't just help you fix issues, they teach you how they fix issues.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

I am not too fond of the online help, it isn't so helpful.

**What problems is Riskonnect Claims Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing Ventiv in our office allowed us to bring claims in house and not have to rely on outside vendors for claims handling.

We like how you can make it your own.  It's very customizable.  The Compliance pieces.  The financials.

**What do you dislike about Riskonnect Claims Management?**

Bugs.  Sometimes there are bugs, and you have to wait for product releases for them to be fixed.

**What problems is Riskonnect Claims Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claims Mgmt is way better with Ventiv Claims.  Reporting and Dashboarding is so much better.  The business rules and diaries help our adjusters with their daily claim mgmt as well and daily flow.
