What do you like best about @RISK?

We have been using this tool for monte carlo simulation. It is capable of integrating very easily with Excel and one of the best tools for Financial risk analysis. Also helpful in simulation, when we can see the possible impact of input variable over the final output variable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about @RISK?

RISK is good when dealing with relatively less sources of data but when we have complex and too many data sources, Our team generally prefer legacy languanges like R or Python Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is @RISK solving and how is that benefiting you?

The best part about @RISK is documentation and the ease by which we can do the scenario building, simulate it and predict the risks assosiated with them. What do you like best about @RISK?

The wide variety of data analysis options and the statistical distributions were impressive. The integrated software with the spreadsheet program was really good. We could get the data analysis done for our group project easily and present it to the boss in no time. Also, the interface was quite good to select the type of distribution and es=xtract the parametres that are in the scope of the study. The wide options of fitting tools/distributions were in fact helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about @RISK?

There is space for the data presentation to be made better and options to integrate the output with other programs like Matlab could be useful. Also, there were a few distributions which were absent at the time (older version). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering @RISK:

A useful tool suggested is the add-on in word-processor or spreadsheet programs in windows which will make the data analysis even more fruitful and easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is @RISK solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mathematical and statistical fitting for research purpose. The output has helped in deriving empirical relations and statistical conclusions for realtime data analysis of transportation datasets on the material volumes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
