I really like the onboarding checklist view in Rippling. It lets me see exactly where every new hire stands with IT access and paperwork without having to ping multiple people to check the status. The integration with our device management and identity provider is also a huge plus, as laptops get reconfigured and accounts are created automatically based on someone's role, without IT needing to manually do it. Device management handles everything automatically, which is incredibly useful. The onboarding checklist assembles everything needed, like a new account, software, or laptop, before new hires even start their first day. Support was also great during the setup phase, helping us think through edge cases like remote hires needing equipment shipped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing scales with our growth, which makes the monthly cost go up, and I have to keep justifying the spend even though the time savings are obvious to those familiar with our old processes. The assistant is decent for basic policy documents, but it doesn't handle our specific onboarding steps, resulting in questions that go beyond generic HR topics still ending up in our inboxes.
