Rippling is incredibly easy to use from both a staff and HR perspective, which is a big plus for us. I love that it can grow with our company as our needs shift and change. It has been a complete lifesaver, housing all of our payroll and attendance needs in one place, saving us time and ensuring that our staff time is accurate and paid accordingly. As a beginner in HR, I find everything laid out so I can figure out what needs to be done and when. The onboarding process was incredibly easy, and the team was amazing. The support team has also been incredibly helpful, solving all our problems when needed. I was impressed by Rippling's functionality, and the affordable pricing was a pleasant surprise. The switch not only gave us a better platform but saved us money too.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I like the ease of use of Rippling and its very intuitive interface, both on computer and smartphone. All the information is collected and well organized on the website, with a clear structure and different tabs that make it easy to find the necessary information intuitively and quickly. I also appreciate that it doesn't cause problems, doesn't require maintenance, and just works. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple and clear, taking less than 5 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Perhaps it is true that when you log in and spend about 5 minutes without performing any type of operation on the page, it logs you out and asks you again for two-factor authentication. It would be interesting if, once a machine or device is recognized, it is considered secure, so that the time interval in which the two-factor code is requested again is increased. That it is not requested every 5 minutes each time you spend a short while without refreshing the page. That could indeed be improved, honestly.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling solves the problem of managing payments and payroll automatically, saving me time and effort. Every two weeks I receive my salary in a clear and simple way, freeing up time for other activities and without worrying about possible errors due to overcharges or undue fees/taxes.

It’s very user-friendly, and it makes it easy for me to keep track of time, assistance, and requests from my employees. I particularly enjoy the one-on-one options. It also provides great customized reports, which makes it easier to provide visibility into results.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

If you’re new to it, you do have to remember where the different options are, but overall it’s very manageable and easy enough to get used to. In other words, the learning curve to learn or know all the features can be tiresome from time to time.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One-on-one interactions, PTOs approvals, tracking time, and assistance. It can replace some handmade reports for payroll, HR, or benefits; it simplifies enrollments, changes, and employee benefits.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

With Rippling it is easy to setup and to make sure that all of our team members are able to access the apps that they need. Using the permissions settings allows for access that certain team members need. If the preset settings are not what you need. You can create new settings as well. Using the payroll system is simple and easy. The entire system is perfect for any size organization.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

So far the only thing that I do not like about Rippling is that I am unable to assign multiple managers to employees. However, that was fixed with the permission settings. Also, for our organization we have commission people. There is not a setting in payroll for commission employees. So you have to find a work around to make sure that they are put in correctly.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems Rippling is solving for us include giving managers access to the information they need, when they need it. It also helps us get employees into the system more quickly, and it has moved our hourly employees into a timecard system faster than our previous setup. Along with that, the communication around when employees are hired or terminated has helped us maintain a clear, full understanding of what’s going on across the company. It has also reduced the number of things that get missed, thanks to the alerts we receive.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I use Rippling for payroll, and it has made the process extremely easy. It's very fast and easy to complete payroll for our business. We're able to utilize benefits more streamlined now for our hourly employees, like paid time off. The Rippling team really made implementing and onboarding extremely easy, and I absolutely appreciate the process. From start to finish, we were just under a month, so it's quite incredible.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I think improving Rippling would be having the ability to set up with other investors for our staff members, like for IRA accounts. It would be great if Charles Schwab could be brought back on board.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rippling for payroll. It solves tax issues for the IRS and streamlines benefits for hourly employees, like paid time off. Overall, Rippling makes payroll extremely easy and fast for our business.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I like Rippling's interface because it's very easy to use. The integration with Microsoft Azure is really helpful, especially for onboarding and offboarding because it automates disabling accounts without needing manual intervention from the IT or HR departments. Setting it up was very easy, and the Rippling team was available to help us and guide us through the process. This automation really saves time and reduces complications, making everything work perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

There are some issues with Rippling. Sometimes entries added by the recruiter cannot be modified, which is a problem. Also, if a user is already added and it doesn't sync with Microsoft Azure, it shows an error indicating a duplicate entry. Rippling doesn't work well for duplicate entries. Additionally, there's a need for improvements in how entries added by HR can be updated, and admin or superuser access to more information is required.

Rippling makes onboarding easy and integrates with Microsoft Azure, helping recruiters and IT. It automatically disables accounts, reducing manual tasks. It meets HR needs and simplifies leave application and process upgrades.

I enjoy the multi-entity management in Rippling because it lets me keep payroll runs, compliance rules, and reporting separated per entity while still rolling everything up to one dashboard. This flexibility is great for leadership needing visibility without premature status across merged companies. I love that the custom approval workflow can be configured differently per entity, allowing different spend limits and signers without needing a separate system. It's especially helpful during transitions between entities.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Need some improvement with the reporting across entities because some are still require some manual stitching when you want to report style that isn't one the template. And the flexibility drops once you go outside their standard report. And for permission setup, for multi entity access, took real trial and error to get it right. Few people ended up with visibility into the wrong entity data before there was called and fixed.

I find Rippling helps reconcile headcount and costs across merged entities, provides a single accurate view, and supports separate payroll management while consolidating data in one dashboard. It also enhances flexibility in approval workflows for different entity needs.

I really appreciate how Rippling pulls the core of my HR work into one place. It lets me oversee my team's records and status without chasing information across disconnected systems. The platform keeps me informed through timely notifications and allows me to build and pull reports on headcount and team activity directly. I find the consolidation of different HR tasks into one system has made managing a large workforce noticeably more orderly and saved me considerable back-and-forth. The learning curve is gentle enough that anyone on my team can pick it up easily, which saves me from endless hand-holding. Setting up an account was painless, and it was easy to get started quickly. The platform gives me a firm grip on my team, showing me where everything stands at a glance, and the notifications are well designed. I particularly like how everything stays connected in one system, so a single update to an employee record carries through to notifications and reports seamlessly. Integrating Rippling with Slack for team notifications and approvals and Google Workspace for managing accounts and access is also a significant advantage.

The one area I still want to get my head around is the deeper end of the reporting, where you start slicing the data in more detail. But that's on me to learn rather than a fault with the tool itself.

What I like best about Rippling is it brings all the 3 services like HR, IT, and finance into one single platform. This makes it very easy to use multiple tools in a single platform and managing all the operations much more efficient.

In my organization rippling is used to maintain all my personal information, my payslips, my performance matrix, leave management, setting my future goals and even friend referral all are maintained in rippling, so we don't need to use different platform for performing all these operations

Rippling UI is bit complicated and user finds it difficult for navigation.

I can refer my friend easily through this rippling portal and it was very useful. I can set up my future goals in this portal so I can make a track on how much progress I have made to complete it.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I use Rippling for everything related to my job. It's convenient to have all access in a single place, which includes managing my paychecks, completing my trainings, requesting PTO, and tracking my overtime. The amazing thing is that it also keeps my computer safe, allowing me to work without switching apps. It was very easy to change my banking information, and the process was seamless. The 2-factor authentication gives me an extra layer of security and makes me trust it completely. I also like the mobile app, as it allows me to access Rippling from my phone, so I don't have to rely on my computer. The initial setup was very straightforward, with super clear instructions, making everything smooth. I'll always say Rippling is very convenient and reliable for me, and one of the key apps I need to do my job.

Since Rippling has made my life so much easier there's nothing I dislike about this tool.

I love Rippling for giving me real control over our HR reporting and data, allowing me to drill into nearly every field, and this has transformed how I work. The fact that I have multiple dedicated specialists available at no extra cost is a genuine turning point, making our operations more efficient. What truly won me over is having every part of our HRIS under one roof, where all the modules communicate smoothly, from reports to simple tasks like password resets. The seamless integration saves me effort and keeps our data consistent, as updating an employee record flows automatically through payroll, reporting, and permissions. Rippling's capabilities keep making my week easier, and some features have replaced standalone tools, helping me consolidate tasks like tracking employee questions and feeding results into our KPIs. Also, the initial setup was quite easy without any significant issues, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

My one real gripe is the advertising. Every login seems to greet me with another banner promoting some feature, and while I'm open to learning what the platform can do, parking an ad front and center isn't my idea of a clean workspace. My staff won't care for it either. I plan to raise it with our support contact and see what can be done. On the ads, I'd suggest moving feature promotions into a dedicated, optional section rather than placing banners front and center at login, and ideally giving admins the ability to toggle them off entirely so the workspace stays clean for both me and my employees.

Rippling gives me control over HR reporting and data, solves support issues with dedicated specialists, and integrates functions seamlessly, saving effort and maintaining data consistency.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

The platform is very simple to use on my PC and also on the mobile app. Getting paid is very fast and punctual. Because I work internationally, receiving money on time is very important, and Rippling lets me configure accounts in US dollars and local currency without any problem. Sending work expenses is another thing I like a lot; I just fill out a quick form, and the money comes in my next paycheck. Also, as a manager, it is very helpful to complete employee reviews and manage the onboarding process for new people all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

My company offers "unlimited" time off, but I would really like a way to see how many days I requested the previous year. I prefer to know how much time I ask for so I can compare it with standard country policies and feel like I know what is "left" to take.
Also, I want to receive an email when my manager approves my vacation by default. Before, I had to open the app to check the bell icon to find out, then I changed a configuration, and an email was received. However, why isn't this enabled by default? Another small problem is that when I schedule a vacation, it creates an event in my Google Calendar, but not as an "Out of Office" event. Because of this, it does not decline meetings automatically or change my Slack status, so I have to do that manually.

It solves the problem of getting paid easily across different countries. Having my salary arrive fast in dollars and local currency is a huge benefit for me. It also organizes all my human resources tasks, like getting my money back for expenses quickly and keeping my team's reviews in order without using different websites.

What stands out most about Rippling is how it centralizes payroll, benefits, and global employee management into a single, easy-to-use platform. It has significantly reduced manual work and improved visibility across both our US and international teams.

The ease of implementation was a major highlight, especially with the support of our Implementation Manager, Stacy Oh, who kept everything organized, on track, and easy to navigate throughout the transition.

The platform also handles global complexity well, particularly for our EOR employees in the UK and Spain, making compliance and operations management much more straightforward. It’s intuitive for both admins and employees, which reduces back-and-forth.

Overall, it’s been a reliable and efficient solution for streamlining our global people operations.

Overall, the experience has been very positive. There’s a bit of a learning curve in some areas due to the platform’s depth, but once you’re familiar with it, it’s very effective. Support has also been responsive whenever questions come up.

I like that the platform interface is very smooth. The most important aspect for us was being able to meet with our implementation representative, Raina, and her manager, Sherwin, who were knowledgeable and prompt in helping us set everything up. This was crucial as a small business with many intricacies and complexities in setting up pay runs. I also appreciate Rippling's HR support and the robust interface, which ensured everything was set up responsibly. The onboarding offer with a couple of months free was extremely beneficial and helped sway our decision.

I did think that without having the implementation representative, we would have struggled to navigate their system. Certain phraseology of questions was either hard to understand or overly confined.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

As of today, we’re a little more than halfway through implementing Rippling. Even so, the experience so far has been awesome.

From the very beginning, working with Sales has been great. Our Sales rep was persistent, but also very responsive and understanding during times when we didn’t have the bandwidth to move quickly. Our Implementation Manager is incredibly kind and patient, and she has made the process feel seamless and stress-free. I honestly can’t imagine another system transition going this smoothly.

As we continue through implementation and learn more about Rippling, I have no doubt it’s going to be a better system for everyone involved.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Rippling has a lot to offer. 
It would be great to see more modules combined instead of separated into modules with additional costs for each.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling is a native system. It communicates right now! Not from fees/files on the job for that evening. 
Rippling offers so many modules! You can build dashboards for productivity, schedule interviews while process Payroll.

Hover over tooltips were somewhat helpful. When using the system and you forget what each section is used for then you can hover and get told. In addition, training new users has not been a complete disaster as i have had to train a couple of users and they picked it up quickly without my needing to babysit them the entire time.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

However, payroll information doesn’t always update into HR. Some of your staff may experience issues with the application if they fail to exit the application after they are done working within it (apparently). In addition, tracking changes made by award updates is quite confusing. There is no clear method to determine what has changed and/or what will be impacted due to the award updates.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to this we had all of our information scattered across multiple systems (contracts in one location, leave requests in another, etc.). At minimum we are able to keep HR & payroll together and provide employees with a self-service option to edit their employee data or request leave through the app. Prior to implementing this on-boarding process took a significant amount of time. With this implementation we are able to utilize the majority of the on-boarding process automatically.

It is enjoyable to use the zero touch hardware deployment and automated app provisioning queues in Rippling—they are incredibly powerful. When a new hire is added to the directory, Rippling triggers a laptop order directly from the manufacturer, preloaded with our corporate security profile via Apple Business Manager, and ships it straight to the employee's home. This workflow bridges the gap between our data and physical IT infrastructure, making my work incredibly easy and cutting the time spent managing new hires' workflows in half. Additionally, the moment employees use their laptops for the first time, the machines automatically install their required department apps, set up local VPNs, and lock them into their single sign-on dash. When someone leaves the company, a single click can remotely wipe the machine and revoke access to over 20 SaaS apps instantly, which drops our IT offboarding workload to zero and eliminates frequent account security risks. Also, the initial setup with linking to our Apple Manager and Google Workspace environment was completely painless and allowed us to provision our first batch of automated remote laptops successfully in less than twenty minutes.

They really need to improve the handling of custom non-market based application integration. It can be highly restrictive. While there are native App Store integrations for tools like Slack, Zoom, or Salesforce, trying to set up automated user provisioning for niche legacy internal databases or custom enterprise software requires complete custom SAML mapping and API scripting. I think they need to make the custom app connector much more flexible and intuitive for proprietary software.

Rippling's payroll system is accurate, fast, and transparent because it pulls all the data directly from our employee records. Making edits to the data to fix mistakes and get it approved is quick, the simple interface make it doable and I don't have to wait for days for a support tickets, it can be done directly from the self-managed payroll profile. I also integrate it with Slack as the main communication hub, any issue with my HR core details can be directly ask from the HR on the Slack channel, It is easier and faster since all the details and communication is kept as a record on Slack history. As for implementation, I only need to install the apps from Google Play Store, login with my email and password and all the HR tools like payroll, paystub, benefits and expenses management is laid on the dashboard. Lastly, for the price, I think they are quite expensive as all the add-ons need for extra cost and the billing keep getting expensive every year.

We try to automated the payroll system for international workers but with all the complex setting to comply with local tax rules and regulation, it is much better to outsource the payroll management for international worker.

Love how many automation that Rippling has speed-up our work, any changes to employee's status like promotion is updated across all database especially for wages and benefits. This automation alone has simplify almost 50% of our work, no more manual edits for each compartment.

Rippling is a modern, well-designed platform that brings payroll, benefits, and HR into one system. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate for anyone with current business system experience. Once configured, it runs cleanly and provides strong visibility and control.

Our implementation manager, Maria Lytle, was exceptional. In 35 years working with project and implementation teams, she is among the best I’ve worked with. Highly knowledgeable, efficient, and effective.

I love this because it makes my work incredibly easy and removes the stress of regulatory compliance slip-ups. It also prevents any human mistakes as the system automatically checks everything on its own. When an employee updates their insurance selection during open enrollment, the platform dynamically modifies the pretax payroll deduction. There's no manual cost checking, no paper forms to transfer, and zero chance of missing carrier deadlines. It turns what used to be a week-long administrative sprint into a simple single-click approval process. Migrating our complex employee record database was surprisingly smooth. The platform's data ingestion engine allowed us to upload our historical employee spreadsheet and instantly map personal profile details with withholding status and active PTO balance into a clean new directory in less than a week.

There are things that I dislike, especially the historical compensation and backdated rate change adjustment. It can be ordinarily clunky if we have to issue a retroactive raise that spans multiple pay cycles and processes into a different financial quarter. Calculating and executing those big payments inside the payroll dashboard feels overly rigid. The system struggles to cleanly automate the retroactive tax adjustment and often forces us to run manual off-cycle corrections. I think they need a smoother interface for backdated salary changes.

I enjoy how easy Rippling is to use and all the things you can do through a single platform. It handles everything smoothly, and I can check the status of my requests in real-time. Like when I'm buying things for business purposes and request a reimbursement, I can see where it is, who approved it, and if a receipt is required. It's also super easy to look at my payroll and manage it across different bank accounts. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, and the Rippling team was detailed and helpful in providing the necessary information. The learning management system is quite easy to navigate too.

I think what could be improved about Rippling is sort of being able to contact my EOR. Because, it is not entirely clear how I'm able to contact my EOR since my company is not based in my country and they have the Rippling EOR. There are some concerns which need to be addressed to the EOR and not to my company's HR. And things are not very clear as in what concerns I should address to the EOR and what to my company. So I think a bit more clarity and the contact details of the particular person to get to would be good.

I like the look of the time cards as it is easy to see what you were paid for and how much each line item contributed. I like that I can switch departments with ease on the time clocks themselves.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

We are a quickly growing small business that had outgrown the tools that had been used for scheduling and payroll since the founding of the company. In all our research Rippling was the best fit for where we are in our growth. Rippling had all the existing features that we liked, solved the pain points we had with our existing systems and helped to reduce overall platform complexity. Rippling also has many features that we don't need yet but anticipate needing as we continue to grow. We feel very confident about transitioning to Rippling knowing that this is going to continue to work for us even as our business changes.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Rippling can be as simple or as complex as you need it to be. What was a little stressful was that many features we were used to being built in needed to be set up manually. I am very grateful for the hands on support during implementation. I don't think we would have been able to set up the system to work as well as it does for us without that guidance. Rippling's complexity ended up being to our benefit as it allows for more customization to our use case but it led to difficulty getting buy in from middle managers on our team when we spoke to them about the transition before we had all the answers. They were nervous about how changes might impact them. In the end everyone ended up happy with the product and more satisfied than they were with our previous systems. If I were to do this process again I would have handled the training and involvement of other users differently.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We sought out Rippling because we needed more robust scheduling features most importantly integration with several payroll runs. We would have been happy to simply reduce the amount of manual labor required to run payroll but Rippling turned out to offer more functionality than we initially knew to ask for. One thing that has been really great for us is the attendance point system. Our workforce is unionized and the union contract has a point based attendance system that must be adjudicated by management in a timely manner to specific parameters. Previously we had been doing this manually and all our records were internal which led to time consuming work for management and stress for employees due to processing time and the lack of access to a centralized attendance record. With Rippling most of this system is now automatic which has increased communication timelines, freed up management's time for other tasks, and has increased transparency for employees by allowing them to have real time access to their attendance records in Rippling. 


The flexibility of how schedules work has also allowed us to better organize the hourly work we are scheduling teams for and has increased clarity and ease of use for management and employees. Most, if not all, of our employees work for us in multiple different capacities and we have varying policies across those departments. Separate schedules has allowed us to make those policies clear and intuitive to employees. Additionally the level of detail made possible by teams and departments has given us access to powerful data about our payroll spending across a variety of metrics that was previously not possible to obtain with our old systems leading to immediate impactful changes to our operations.

Things that I like of Rippling for me is the self-service portal for new employees. When someone joins, they get a link to type in their own routing numbers, fill out their test form, and sign the employee handbook on their own time. This has made my life so much easier because I don't have to manually copy their numbers and home address from a PDF scan anymore, which used to cause constant typos and delayed payments. Plus, since former employees keep lifetime access to their old pay stubs and tax forms, they can log in and grab what they need without emailing my team for years down the road. The self-service portal is also valuable because employees can have their own, safe profile and access everything they need without contacting HR or finance. Setting up Rippling was quite easy and surprisingly smooth, especially moving our historical payroll data; the transition wizard worked us through uploading our midyear tax summaries and matched our active employees with their past earnings without any accounting errors.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

What I dislike from Rippling is the custom report builder is sometimes not very intuitive. If you need a specific spreadsheet, like looking at health benefits alongside specific contact categories, you cannot just drag and drop the columns you want. You have to download three different pivot reports and manually stitch them together in Excel. I think they really need to make the reporting tools more flexible and user-friendly.

Rippling saves us from year-end headaches with accurate tracking and automatic tax forms. The self-service portal eases onboarding and reduces manual data entry, preventing typos and delays. Employees can access their pay stubs independently, without contacting HR, streamlining communication.

I use Rippling for payroll at work. It's quick, easy, and very efficient. There's no issues with Rippling handling payroll. It works very well. It makes signing in for payroll very easy. For what I have to use it for, it allows me the freedom to check daily on how many hours I have, shows me how much I'm getting for regular, overtime, or holiday pay. It allows me to put in days that I wanna be off, and when the options are there, I can choose what shifts I wanna work. It also allows me contact with those in charge of the payroll if I see any discrepancies. From my point, the setup was very simple. All I had to do was create a username and a password, and it was ready to go. I've had no issues with it since I've been using it.

I really like Rippling AI, it's definitely a win for me. It's now my favorite feature of Rippling. It allows our employees to interface directly with all the data they need for their day-to-day tasks without having to bother me, which is great. Rippling AI lets them interact directly, whether it's about our Shopify, HubSpot contacts, Salesforce contacts, or GitHub. They can find out exactly how many hours they've worked or how much payroll they have left to spend on extra hours. It also helps them perform really good performance reviews and get into the details of time and money spent on different projects, which means I don't have to handle reports for a hundred different people. Rippling really opens up my day so I can focus on getting back to my other projects.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

We do have some issues with the payroll stuff. Since the beginning, there's always been an issue here and there with payroll issues. Every now and again, we get charged for something that we don't understand why we're being charged for it. We also had some issues in the past with our Betterment connection, which is all of our benefits, but we were able to get those resolved by working with support. The only things we still have issues with probably every now and again are things related to payroll. The initial setup was a nightmare and probably the worst part. Our implementation was pretty awful, mostly because of our implementation specialist and not Rippling itself.

Rippling solves the need for extra operations staff by letting everyone access their work environment directly. It addresses payroll and benefits issues and connects all our tools in one place, enhancing efficiency for nontechnical team members.

My favorite part about Rippling is that it conveniently has all of your work and HR documents in one place. You can clock in/out, view your paystubs and tax information, update your direct deposit, and request time off all under one platform, among other things. I also love how user-friendly it is. It's so easy to navigate and find what you need.

I don't have any major complaints about Rippling. The only thing I think could be improved is its customization options. There is no way to choose which apps you want to see and how you want them organized, which isn't a big deal but would be a nice feature!

Riplling's self-service portal has totally change how our team operates, it wasn't just a place to check paystub, it is a command center where employees handled their own benefits management and life-event changes. Schedule management tools are a massive relief to manage vacations, sick leave, and even a complex overtime rules are tracked automatically. Implementation process is easy because of the guided migration, we've been assigned a dedicated specialist customer support that helped map our existing payroll data and state-specific compliance support rules directly into the employees payroll settings.

In addition, we transform from overly-manual spreadsheet operation into a fully integrated HR code system and IT system(slack integrated) just under three weeks and have been using the system for almost three years everyday without any major issue.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

What I dislike with Rippling's mobile apps is lacking of advanced administrative capabilities, currently, to resolve complex schedule management conflicts or compliance audits still require for a desktop version of the platform.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem that Rippling is solving is the compliance management that we used to constantly worried about missing a new state-specific labor law or an ACA filing deadline, after the automated compliance support, the system proactively flag risks like overtime violations.
